The food was even more delicious than I expected. The tempura, in particular, was freshly fried, and the shrimp, fish, and vegetables were all big-sized. They quickly accommodated our request for all-you-can-drink options, which was fantastic. There was also a photo time in between, and I was able to take plenty of pictures from the deck. I really felt like I was traveling in a foreign country, and I'm so glad I participated.

お料理は期待以上に美味しかったです。特に天ぷらは揚げたて、しかもエビも魚も野菜もビッグサイズ。飲み放題の追加もすぐに対応して頂けて、最高でした。途中で写真タイムもあり、デッキ上からゆっくりたくさん写真も撮れました。異国に旅行にきている気分で、参加して本当によかったです。

The teacher was very kind and taught us in a way that even beginners could enjoy it with peace of mind! I was able to learn "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star," and I had the valuable experience of being taught phrases from other songs as well. I was also very satisfied with the memories created from the video and photo shoots while wearing the rental costumes!

優しく先生が教えてくださり、初心者でも安心して楽しめました！きらきら星を習得できたので、他の曲のフレーズを教えていただけたりと貴重な体験ができました。

It was a truly once-in-a-lifetime memorable trip. We stopped the boat at the shooting spots about twice, and it was amazing to have around 10 to 15 minutes to take photos after going up to the upper deck! There were various foreigners, and even though we couldn't understand each other's languages, taking photos together somehow felt heartwarming, and I sensed world peace. As expected of Japan.

At the end, everyone sang the happy birthday song to my girlfriend with a surprise cake! It was just the best. The foreigner behind us saw the five candles and asked, "Five years??" (laughs). The idea of being five years old was also a funny episode!

To that person, I said happy birthday again at the very end, and he encouraged me by patting my shoulder, which moved me towards world peace. Thank you for this wonderful time filled with unforgettable memories. I'm so glad to have encountered this yakatabune tour, which may only happen once in a lifetime. Everyone should definitely ride a yakatabune!

Since our accommodation was right next to JR Nara Station, we could easily get to the meeting point (bus stop). It was my first time in Nishi no Kyo, and I thought it would be a bit challenging to visit all the sites using public transportation, so I decided to join the tour, and it was definitely the right choice. If you have some sense of geography in Nara from previous visits, it might be different, but if not, I highly recommend this tour.

宿泊先がJR奈良駅のすぐそばでしたので、集合場所（バス停）にもすぐ簡単に行けました。西ノ京は初めてでしたので、公共交通機関を使用して全行程を訪れるのは少々ハードルが高いと思い当該ツアーに参加しましたが、大正解でした。もし初回でなくある程度奈良に地理感覚があれば、別ですが、そうでない場合は、非常に勧めです。

La nourriture était excellente, on a pu goûter à plein de spécialités locales; sashimi, crevettes et poisson en tempura....L'anguille était hyper bonne. Les desserts (mochi) délicieux et entraient quand même malgré le fait que nous étions vraiment repues. Le parcours de nuit était parfait. Allez-y sans hésiter.

Although I had seen Eisa before, I had never experienced it, so I decided to give it a try. Even though I made a reservation at the last minute the day before, I was warmly welcomed.

First, we put on the costumes, and after learning about the origins and key points, the instructors kindly and patiently guided us, a senior couple with poor rhythm, to dance Eisa to the music. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the experience.

I also felt that the instructors were friendly and easy to talk to, which added to the positive experience. This became a wonderful memory of our trip to Okinawa. I think I will challenge myself to try it again next time.

エイサーは見たことはあっても体験したことはなかったので一度体験してみようと言うことで
急遽前日に予約を入れたにも拘わらず暖かく迎えて頂きました。
まず衣裳をつけてから由来やポイントを教えて頂いたあと
リズム感の悪い私たち高齢夫婦にも親切丁寧にエイサーを曲に合わせて
和気あいあいと指導していただき大変楽しめました。
また、人柄もよく話しやすかったのも良かったと感じました。
今回の沖縄旅行の良い思い出となりました。
また、次回もチャレンジしようかと思います。

The veteran guide created a very pleasant atmosphere. Horyu-ji has impressive exhibits, but if you spend too much time at the beginning, you'll rush through the second half. Be careful. The monk's talk at Yakushi-ji was interesting, but if you listen closely, you won't have enough time for the visit. Be careful.

ベテランガイドさんでとても良い雰囲気でした。
法隆寺は展示物が見応えありですが、最初から時間をかけすぎと、後半駆け足になります。ご用心あれ。
薬師寺のお坊さんの話しは面白かったですが、じっくり聞くと拝観時間が足りなくなります。ご用心あれ。

I brought along a couple of friends who live overseas. They explained everything in a polite manner in both Japanese and English, so even as beginners, we were able to create something enjoyable and wonderful. I was really happy to see my friends so pleased.

The stories from the geisha were very enjoyable.
Perhaps due to cultural differences or lack of explanation,
there were actions that made me feel like the Japanese culture was not being understood.
During the tea experience,
some people carelessly transferred matcha or licked the tea scoop,
and their attitude during the program was poor,
which made me feel uncomfortable.

The instructor was very kind and taught us from the basics. Even in a short time, I was able to learn various techniques of the koto and felt the depth of it, experiencing a captivating joy. The casual conversations were also very enjoyable, and I lost track of time while talking. By the way, the instructor is a leading figure who performs at events at Shimogamo Shrine and Heian Shrine.

先生は、とても優しく初歩から指導して下さり、短時間ながら、お琴の色んな技巧を学ぶことができ、奥深さを実感しつつ、やみつきになるような楽しさを感じました。雑談もとても楽しく時間を忘れてお話させていただきました。ちなみに先生は下鴨神社や平安神宮の祭事でも演奏される第一人者です。

I participated for the first time in three years, and it was a lot of fun. This time, the person who came was a geisha, so I was able to see a different aspect compared to a maiko.

３年ぶりに参加しましたが、とても楽しかったです。今回来られた方が芸妓さんだったので、舞妓さんとは違う局面を見ることができました。

We really enjoyed the experience. Very nice and friendly atmosphere and they shared with us many details from their history and life.

It had been decades since my last visit to Nara. I was a bit anxious about the sightseeing bus that would take a whole day, but I was glad that we could smoothly visit all the places I wanted to see, starting with Horyu-ji Temple. I was worried about walking, but the guide's explanations were excellent, and I was able to enjoy the tour. Moreover, I was impressed by the guide's clarity and memory. Considering the entrance fees and such, I think it was very reasonably priced.

数十年ぶりの奈良観光でした。
一日かけての観光バスには少し不安もあってのですが、法隆寺をはじめ行きたかった所をスムーズに回れて良かったです。
歩くのは不安があったのですが、ガイドさんの説明も良く、楽しく観て回る事ができました。
それにしても、ガイドさんの説明は分かりやすいのと、記憶力には感銘しました。
入場料など考えればとても割安と思います。

I participated in the "70th Birthday Tour" with five friends. While enjoying the wonderful night view, we were served a variety of dishes including a boat platter of crab and sashimi, and freshly fried tempura, which made us very satisfied. The all-you-can-drink alcohol flowed freely, and we had a fantastic night.

「古希ツアー」で仲間５人で参加しました。素晴らしい夜景を見ながら、料理もカニや刺身の舟盛り、揚げたての熱々天ぷらを順番にお皿に置いてもらえて、大満足でした。飲み放題のお酒もすすみ、ステキな夜を満喫できました。

It was my first experience with the sanshin, and I felt like I was able to touch upon Okinawa's traditional arts thanks to the kind instruction I received. 😊 I recommend it for those considering a different kind of trip to Okinawa beyond just the beach!

Unfortunately, it was a rainy day with heavy rain at times, but the preparation of umbrellas and the thoughtful pick-up service were wonderful.

I participated in this tour the day after work, and it was perfectly fine to join alone. I was able to visit various famous spots that are difficult to reach on my own. Moreover, with Kaido-san's detailed explanations, it was a very fulfilling day.

Many historical figures from Japanese history appeared during the tour. Being there in person, seeing the sights, and hearing the stories made it feel much more real.

This was my first time on a bus tour, and I thought it was quite a good option for travel.

残念ながら、雨、途中で大雨の１日でしたが
傘の用意やお迎えの心遣い、素晴らしかったです。

仕事の翌日にこのツアーに参加しましたが、
１人参加でも大丈夫でした。
自力では行きづらい名所を色々まわれます。
しかも、カイドさんの詳しいお話付きで、
とっても充実した１日でした。

日本史に出てきた人物が、大勢登場します。
実際に現地に行って、見て、話を伺うと
リアルさが増してきます。

バスツアーは、今回初めてでしたが、
旅の１つの選択肢として、
なかなかよいなぁと思いました。

Until now, I had only visited Nara through bus tours from my hometown, Okayama, but participating in a local tour using the Shinkansen was really great. It was my first experience having so much time to explore. Next time, I want to come to Nara in the fall.

今まで奈良は、地元岡山からバスツアー以外は来たことが無かったのですが、
新幹線を使って現地ツアーに参加するのは、とても良かったです。
こんなに時間たっぷりで、見れたのは、初めての経験です。
次回は、秋の奈良に来たいと思っています。

We used it as a family of three. Since there were three of us, I thought 5,000 yen per person was a bit expensive, but we were able to stretch our legs and relax! The boatman's explanations were great, and we enjoyed a leisurely and elegant time. Personally, I liked it more than the trolley train ❤️.

３人なので、1人五千円はちょっと高いかと思いましたが、足を伸ばしてゆっくり過ごせました！

We were able to have a wonderful time as a family of four. All the staff members were cheerful, kind, and provided us with a pleasant experience.

家族4人で、楽しい時間を過ごす事が出来ました。従業員の方々は皆さん明るく、親切で心地よいひと時を頂くことが出来ました。

This time, we used a yakatabune (a traditional Japanese houseboat) with my family, and it was truly a wonderful experience. We were able to see the boatman skillfully maneuvering the boat up close, which excited the kids greatly. The view of Arashiyama from the water was exceptional, and we had a very luxurious time. It was also nice that we could bring our own drinks, allowing us to relax and enjoy at our leisure. The staff were friendly, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this activity.

今回、家族で屋形船を利用しましたが、本当に素晴らしい体験でした。船頭さんが巧みに舟を操る姿を間近で見ることができ、子供たちも大興奮でした。水面から眺める嵐山の景色は格別で、とても贅沢な時間を過ごせました。持ち込みが可能なので、好きな飲み物を片手にゆったりと楽しめたのも良かったです。スタッフの方々も親切で、心からおすすめできるアクティビティです。

I went with a friend~ I was happy to be able to do something I usually can't do, like the tatami mat play.

It was also great to be able to ask the maiko various questions again.

During my stay in Tokyo, I had some free time during the day, so I decided to try the daytime shared boat service. I completed the boarding procedure at the boat house, received my ticket, and boarded from the riverbank across the road.

Before entering the boat, we had to remove our shoes, and there was a reserved name tag on the table, so we took our seats there.

The chairs and tables were comfortable, which was great for reducing strain on my legs. The table was set with sashimi and dishes according to the course I reserved, along with bottled beer, and we started eating and drinking as soon as we set sail.

Drinks were all-you-can-drink, and the staff would bring them right away if you requested them. Onboard, the hostess explained the Rainbow Bridge and the buildings and bridges along the river using a microphone.

They also served freshly fried tempura throughout the trip, allowing us to enjoy crispy, hot tempura while cruising.

Since we couldn't see the cherry blossoms, we docked at Odaiba, where we got off to take commemorative photos before heading upstream toward the Tokyo Skytree.

After the tempura service ended, we enjoyed freshly cooked clam rice and miso soup, followed by a sweet dessert.

There was one restroom located at the front of the boat for use. I would love to experience the evening cruise if I get the chance.

東京滞在中の昼間に時間がある旅程だったので、こちらの昼の乗合船を利用してみました。
船宿で乗船手続きをしてチケットもらって、道路を渡った川岸からの乗船です。
履物は船内に入る前に脱いで、テーブルに予約者名が書かれた札が置いてあるのでそこに着席です。

椅子とテーブルなので、脚の負担も少なくて良かったです。
テーブルには予約したコースごとのお造りや料理、瓶ビールが準備されており、出航と同時に飲食が開始されます。

ドリンクは飲み放題で、スタッフの人にリクエストすると直ぐに持ってきてもらえます。
船中では女将さんがマイク片手にレインボーブリッジや川沿いの建物や橋の説明をしてくれます。

また揚げたての天ぷらをその都度提供してくれるので、サクサクのアツアツな天ぷらを食べながら遊覧できます。

桜が見れなかったので、お台場で停泊して外に出て記念撮影したりした後に、スカイツリー方面へと上流へ上っていきます。

天ぷらの提供が終わると炊き立てのアサリ飯と味噌汁、最後に甘味デザートをいただきました。

トイレは前方に一か所あるので利用できます。
機会があれば夜の部も体験したいと思いました。

This was my second time here with my son and my friend from Japan joined for her first time and we all loved it. We had an English speaking instructor who was very helpful and showed us step-by-step what we needed to do to make our design how we wanted it. We practiced on a separate glass and that was so helpful to improve our technique. The instructor gave us additional tips along the way. It's so nice to take home such a unique product from our time spent in Japan.

We were really glad to see various bridges, even though we were born and raised in Tokyo. It was thrilling to be able to see the bridge we passed by every day during our student days from below.

東京生まれで東京育ちの私たちでも色々な橋を見れて良かったです。
学生時代に毎日通った橋を下から見ることが出来て、大興奮でした。

You can enjoy delicious Kyoto cuisine while watching a maiko's dance. It was so much fun to play games with the maiko and take pictures together. I want to go again!

美味しい京料理を食べながら舞妓さんの踊りが鑑賞出来ます。舞妓さんとゲームをしたり一緒にお写真を撮ったり、とっても楽しかったです。また行きたいです。

This time, I went out to review the history of Nara. I planned to walk around the area close to the city center and request a tour for the wider area. We carefully visited essential points, making it a very enriching experience. The guide's explanations were thorough and insightful, which was very educational. However, it seemed quite challenging for them to keep talking during the car rides. Thank you very much.

今回は奈良の歴史のおさらいに出掛けました。
市内中心部に近いエリアは歩いて、広いエリアは今回のツアーにお願いする計画でした。
外せないポイントを丁寧に周っていただき、とても中身の濃いい時間になりました。

I had heard that the staff would be kind and helpful based on reviews, but I was worried that with so many people, there might not be enough time to work at the stations. However, in reality, there was one instructor for every six students, and each student had their own workstation. The instruction was thorough and attentive, and there was plenty of time to work. It was more challenging than I expected, but after practicing, I was able to decide on a design that suited my skill level, and I think I ended up with something really good.

口コミで親切に教えてもらえるとありましたが、人が多く作業台も人と使うとゆっくり作業する時間ないかも…と心配してました。
実際は先生1人に生徒6人で1人一台ずつ作業台があり、しっかり丁寧に教えてもらえて作業時間もたっぷりありました。
思ったより難しかったですが、練習した後にデザインを決めれたので、実力に見合った柄を選べて良いものが出来たと思います。

I used this for my mother's birthday celebration! The cake and the food were delicious 🤤 The night view from the boat was amazing, and it was a wonderful day.
