Driving on the narrow mountain roads can be quite challenging, and I thought it would be a disaster if someone from the city casually decided to rent a car and go there. I noticed the drivers giving directions to oncoming cars while passing each other, and I thought, "Wow, they are professionals." I believe that with our driving skills, even if we were given instructions, we wouldn't have been able to follow them properly.

The guide also provided detailed explanations without any breaks, which was impressive. Additionally, I was really glad that we were able to walk the 50-minute course at Yakusugi Land! I had read that some guides only offer a 30-minute course, so I was worried that if that were the case, it would be disappointing.

However, at the route junction, the guide asked, "Is the 50-minute course okay for everyone?" but only a few people around the guide seemed to hear it. I felt that it might be a problem if someone at the back found the 50 minutes too tough…

細い山道を走行するので、都会暮らしの者が気安くレンタカーで行こうなんてしたら大変なことになってました。
すれ違う時に、運転手さんが対向車に指示を出したりしていて、プロだな〜と思いましたし、自分らの運転スキルでは、仮に指示されてもその通りできなかったと思います。　
ガイドさんも、休む間もなく詳しい説明をずっとして下さいました。
また、ヤクスギランドでは50分のコースを歩かせてもらえて、本当に良かったです！ガイドによっては30分コースのこともあると読んで、もしそうだったら残念と思っていたので…
ただ、ルート分岐点での「50分コースで大丈夫ですよね？」という声がけが、ガイドさんの周りの数人にしか聞こえない状況でした。万が一、50分はキツいという方が最後尾の方にいらっしゃったらまずいのでは…とは感じました。

The female driver and the female guide were great, and the guide's stories were really interesting. It was a very enjoyable tour.

The Japanese staff spoke while looking at an English script, but they spoke so softly that it was hard to hear. It felt like listening to a middle school English reading. Even the native speakers seemed to have trouble understanding many parts.

Also, this is due to cultural differences, but I felt stressed when Asian participants next to me burped loudly or cut in line while shopping.

However, it was nice that the tour was held on a weekday.

日本人スタッフの方が英語のカンペを見て話すのですが、ぼそぼそ話すので聞き取りずらかったです。中学校の英語の音読を聞いてるような感じでした。ネイティブも一緒でしたが、聞き取れない部分が多かったみたいです。

あとこれは文化が違うので仕方ないですが、
アジア系の参加者が隣で大きなゲップをしたり、買い物のときぬかしてきたり、そういうのもストレス感じてしまいました。

ただ平日にツアーが開催されるのは良かったです。

The roof of the double-decker bus was open, and since it was a sunny day, it felt great. I live in Osaka, but I usually just take the train, so the view of Osaka from the bus looked different from what I'm used to, and it was really nice. I want to ride it again. Thank you to the bus driver and the tour guide!

I'm glad I could go to various places. The foot bath at Jozankei Onsen was especially nice. I bought a kappa towel there.

色々なところへ行けてよかったです。特に定山渓温泉の足湯が良かったです。河童のタオルをそこで買いました。

Since it was my first time visiting Kyushu, I wanted to learn about peace there and decided to make Nagasaki my first travel destination to experience its exotic atmosphere. I was able to efficiently explore the area in one day, and the guide provided clear explanations, allowing me to learn a lot. We were also blessed with good weather, which enabled us to see many beautiful sights.

初めて九州を訪れたので、そこでも平和について学びたかったのと異国情緒を感じられる長崎を最初の旅行先にしようと思いました。1日を効率よく回ることができ、ガイドさんも分かりやすく解説してくれて学ぶことができました。天気にも恵まれていたので素敵な景色をたくさん見ることができました。

Thanks to our guide, Mr. Kiyane, who shared interesting trivia, and our driver, Mr. Maeda, who drove safely and securely, we were able to enjoyably visit various places in a condensed manner. I would like to use this service again on other routes. Thank you very much.

Without local options like these, I would have been wondering where to go! I was very grateful for them! The water buffalo cart and mangrove exploration were great, and the tropical, old-fashioned atmosphere of Taketomi Island was wonderful!

こういう現地オプションがないと、何処行こうか⁉️ってなってしまうので、大変ありがたかったです‼️水牛車やマングローブ探検とか竹富島の南国古風なたたずまい良かったです‼️

Since it was my first time making a reservation online, I was a bit anxious about how it would turn out, but the guide, Kousei, was very good at Japanese and explained everything clearly, making it a lot of fun (*´∀｀*🎶). There were people from various countries, and even though I was in Japan, it felt like I was abroad, which was enjoyable 🙆. I highly recommend it because you can see Mount Fuji from various angles 🗻.

Most of the people were from Taiwan, Europe, and America, and the tour guide announced in three languages, giving a sense of being on an international trip. It was very enjoyable, but since it was during Golden Week, the tourist spots were crowded with many people.

台湾やヨーロッパやアメリカ人の方が殆どで、添乗員さんも３カ国の言語でアナウンスされ、外国観光に行った感覚でした。
とても、楽しかったですが、ゴールデンウィークで、観光地に、たくさん来られてたので、人だらけでした。

I participated in a one-day bus tour around Yakushima. The beauty of this World Heritage site was, of course, amazing, and I had a very fulfilling time.

What left a particularly strong impression on me was the guide, Mr. Habu's stories. Being a local, he not only provided sightseeing information but also shared many details about life on the island and the charm of Yakushima, allowing me to understand the island on a deeper level.

The journey was enjoyable throughout, and thanks to his warm personality, it became a truly memorable day. Thank you very much!

世界自然遺産の素晴らしさはもちろん、とても充実した時間を過ごすことができました。

特に印象に残ったのは、ガイドのハブさんのお話です。
地元ご出身とのことで、観光案内だけでなく、島での暮らしや屋久島の魅力をたくさん丁寧に教えてくださり、より深く屋久島を知ることができました。

移動中も終始楽しく、温かいお人柄のおかげで、とても心に残る1日になりました。

It was a tour for foreigners, but they provided proper interpretation in Japanese as well. Everyone kept to the promised time, and it was quiet on the bus, allowing us to fully enjoy the tour.

外国人向けのツアーでしたが、きちんと日本語でも通訳してくれました。
皆さん、約束の時間を守り、バスの中も静かでツアーを満喫することが出来ました。

I used it for the first time, and the explanations were easy to understand. I had a great time, and the hour flew by. I would like to use it again.

I was able to enjoy Taketomi Island while riding a water buffalo and listening to the performance of the sanshin. As mentioned in other reviews, there wasn't much time for strolling. It was less than an hour, so it was just enough time to walk to the Nishi Sanchu and return to the bus stop.

水牛で街を回りながら、三線の演奏を聴くことができて、竹富島を堪能することができました。他の方の口コミにもあるように、散策時間はあまりありませんでした。１時間もないくらいだったので、歩いて西桟橋行ってバス乗り場まで戻ってきて、ちょうどいいぐらいでした。

There was a lot of traffic, and the driver had a tough time, but the tour guide was kind, and it was great with a small group. Of course, the weather was nice, and Mount Fuji was amazing.

渋滞ばかりで、運転手さんは大変やったけど、添乗員さんは親切で、少人数で大変よかったです。もちろん天気が良くて富士山は最高でした。

I used this to go from Osaka Station to Temmabashi. The double-decker bus had a great view, and we were blessed with good weather, which made my mother happy as well. The guide's Osaka dialect was also nice. I got off partway, but I was satisfied. Thank you very much!!

大阪駅から天満橋方面に行くのに利用しました。高さのある2階建バスで見晴らしもよく、天気にも恵まれ、母も喜んでました。
ガイドさんの大阪弁も良かったです。

I participated with two elementary school students (4th grade and 1st grade). The round-trip bus from the port made it convenient. Even though it was during Golden Week, we were able to ride the water buffalo cart with almost no wait. There wasn't enough time to explore everything, but it was nice to be able to return without too much stress, especially with kids.

小学生2人(4年、1年)と参加しました。港からのバスも往復ついていて、楽でした。GWでしたが、水牛車にもほぼ待たずに乗れました。あれもこれも散策するには時間が足りませんが、子連れならあまり無理せず帰れて良かったです。

Thanks to the guide's entertaining stories and the driver's professional driving, which remained steady even in thick fog, I had a very meaningful time. Thank you!

On May 3rd, I participated with my family of three. It was a bus tour where I was impressed by the vast knowledge of our guide, Sunakawa. The explanations were easy to understand, and both the songs and the sanshin performance were wonderful. We experienced the mysteries of nature in the limestone cave, and on the glass-bottom boat at Kabira Bay (additional fee), we were able to see sea turtles, schools of grouper, and colorful tropical fish.

5/3に家族3人で参加。
ガイドの砂川さんの知識量の多さに感服しながらのバスツアーでした。
説明も分かりやすく、歌も三線も素晴らしいものでした。
鍾乳洞で自然の神秘に触れ、川平湾のグラスボート（別途料金）ではウミガメやグルクンの群れ、カラフルな熱帯魚達をみることが出来ました。

Perhaps due to the lack of snow, the height of the snow wall was only 11 meters, which is half the height compared to the past record, leaving me feeling somewhat unsatisfied. While others were able to spot them, I couldn't find any ptarmigans.

雪の壁の高さが１１メートルと過去最高と比べて半分の高さで物足りなさを感じました。他の方は見つけていましたが、私は雷鳥も見つけられませんでした。

Although the sky was unfortunately cloudy and there was a bit of rain, I had a very enjoyable time. The experience of swaying on a water buffalo cart while crossing to Yufushima became a wonderful memory. Next time, I would like to go again on a sunny day!

It was an efficient tour, but unfortunately, the lift at Okurayama Jump Stadium was not operating due to strong winds. I felt like we had a bit of extra time. At Hitsujigaoka, I thought we didn't have enough time to visit because we had to wait in line to take photos in front of the Clark statue. The bus guide was kind and left a good impression.

The guide was from China, and they were friendly and approachable, making for a very enjoyable time. I would like to use this service again.

I participated in a day trip to Mount Fuji on April 29th. I felt it was great to be able to efficiently sightsee within a limited time. My wife and I were the only Japanese participants, but our conductor, Mr. Zhang Yu, was always polite and provided clear explanations, for which I am grateful. It was a smooth experience during the Golden Week. I checked in at the counter at the remote island terminal before the scheduled time and boarded the boat. It took about 15 minutes to get to Taketomi Island. From there, we transferred to several cars and headed to the waiting area for the water buffalo. We were guided in order. The water buffalo guide was very good at talking, and we leisurely progressed while listening to her play the sanshin. They also took free photos, and if you liked them, there were paid versions with a frame available. The quality of the photos with data was good, so we purchased them for our family. There wasn't much time for free exploration, so we returned to the meeting point early and just relaxed afterward. From start to finish, all the staff we encountered were very pleasant. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

GWでしたが大変スムーズでした。離島ターミナルのカウンターで時間までに受付し、船に乗船。竹富島まで15分ほど。そこから数台の車に分かれて乗り換え、水牛の待つ場所へ。順番に案内されます。水牛ガイドのお姉さんがとても話し上手で、三線の弾き語りを聴きながらのんびり進みます。無料の写真も撮っていただき、気に入れば台紙付きの有料タイプも。データ付きで仕上がりが良かったので我が家は購入しました。フリータイムで巡れる時間はあまりなかったので早めに集合場所まで戻り、あとはまったり。スタートから最後まで、出会うスタッフの方々とても感じが良かったです。素敵な思い出をありがとうございました！

I participated with a friend who came from afar. We had originally signed up for a different tour in the same area, but since it was canceled, we quickly registered for this one.

I felt it was good for planning since this tour was confirmed to operate.

The tour's itinerary was designed to allow for a leisurely pace, so it was nice to be able to move around without feeling rushed.

同じ方面の別ツアーに申し込んでいたのですが、不催行となったため、急遽こちらで申し込みました。
催行確定のツアーなので予定を立てるのには良いと感じました。

ツアーの内容はゆっくりと回れるコース設計となっていたので、無理せず動けて良かったです。

On the bus, there were just the two of us and the driver, who were Japanese, but thanks to the consideration of the female tour guide, we had great seats at the front, which was wonderful. I also appreciate the small attentions to detail. The service while speaking three languages was impressive. The driver's route to ease the traffic made for a comfortable journey, which was great. However, I would like everyone to strictly adhere to returning to the bus on time, as being late can cause inconvenience for everyone. I would love to participate again. Thank you!

バスのお客さんで日本人が私達二人と運転手さんでしたが、添乗員の女性の方の配慮で席は前で凄く良かったですし、細かな気遣いもありがとうございました。三カ国語を話しながらの接客には素晴らしかったです。
運転手さんの渋滞緩和のルートも快適な旅になり良かったです。
ただ、きちんと遅刻せずにバスに戻って来ないと全員に迷惑がかかる事を厳守してほしいです。また参加したいです。ありがとうございました〜

I was concerned that spending one day on three islands would mean less time on each island, but in reality, I was able to have an enjoyable experience on each one. For lunch, I had "karasoba," a soul food from the Yaeyama Islands, where you can choose toppings in a buffet style.

On Taketomi Island, there was a free walk plan, but thanks to a rental service at the port that accommodated us without a reservation, I was able to rent a bicycle on-site. I recommend renting a bicycle for those who want to visit multiple spots.

This plan is highly recommended for those who want to casually visit various islands and for beginners exploring the Yaeyama Islands.

1日で3島ということで、1島あたりの時間が少なくなることを懸念していましたが、実際はどの島でも魅力的な体験ができました。
昼ごはんは「からそば」という八重山諸島のソウルフードで、トッピングをバイキング形式で選ぶものでした。
竹富島ではフリーウォークプランでしたが、予約なしでも対応してくださる業者さんが港にいてくれたおかげで、現地で自転車をレンタルすることができました。行きたいスポットが複数ある方は自転車レンタルをおすすめします。
いろんな島に気軽に訪れたい行きたいという方、八重山諸島初心者の方にはとてもおすすめのプランです。
