I went during a solo trip and it was definitely a highlight! Also drank 2 delicious mai tais on the way back. Saw two big turtles and the most beautiful fish all around! Defs book this whether solo or with your own crew!

Fantastic experience!!
Reviewed by: Rebecca Shaw, 2023/10/28The captain and crew were engaging, fun and so very very kind. As a heavy traveler I don’t often put myself out there unless I KNOW I can do all of the activity. I was worried about being able to get out of the water after snorkeling. They never once made me feel like I was a pain, uncomfortable, or “less than” that is not a typical experience, so not only did they get my business for the snorkeling trip, I also went on their sunset cruise for the next two days. I will shout their praises to the rooftops!

集合場所はアウトリガー リーフ ワイキキビーチリゾートのビーチ側のホテル内1FにあるHolocai Catamaranのブース。よくわからない場合はステーキシャック側からホテル内に入ってabc storeあたりまで行くとあります。
そこで受付。参加人数は12名ほど。砂浜にボートがつくのでサンダルを脱いで乗船。屈強な男たち4名ほどがガイドをしてくれる。かっこいい。映画の中の昔の船乗りみたいにかっこいい。なんとなく説明(英語)を聞いているといつの間にかホヌ(ウミガメ)がいる辺りに移動。(あまり揺れは感じませんでいた)参加者の多くは外国人。日本人はわずか。借りれるのはシュノーケリングセットと救命ジャケット。ジャケットは着用マストだがふくらませるかどうかは個人判断。初心者なら膨らませ、経験者で潜水したい場合は空気を入れなければ良い。ホヌがいるスポットは様々はツアーの客が群がっているので、譲り合ってゆっくりみんなでホヌに近づく。息継ぎのために水面まで上がってくるホヌを一定の距離を保ちながら観察。ガイドがフレンドリーに説明をしてくれたりどっちに行くかを案内してくれる。ただ後半は段々と統率がなくなってきて自由に行動し始めるので、たまには顔を上げてガイドがどこにいるのか、またはホロカイ！と声を上げているほうへ泳いで迷子にならないように。水下にホヌがいたときは、水中カメラを持っている客から(私はgopro)借りて、ガイドが下まで潜って間近で撮影してくれた。とてもいい思い出。ある程度観察したら船に戻り、残りの時間をワイキキの海をセーリングしながら自由時間。ソフトドリングは無料。アルコールは有料(購入時だけIDが必要。その予定なければIDは要らない)参加者各々が自由に写真を撮ったり船先端にある網？の上で寛いだり…ガイドは常に明るく接してくれたり、日本から来たとわかると少し覚えている日本語を話してくれたり…かなりゆったりと時間を過ごしながら帰路へ…
感想：
もちろんその日の天気や波に寄りますが、私の場合、揺れはほとんど気にならず、とても快適に過ごせました。日本語フレンドリーではありませんし、完全にネイティブのノリや喋り方ですが、そこまで難しいことは言いませんししませんし、聞けばとてもフレンドリーに教えてくれます。天気がいい場合、日焼けするので長袖やサングラスを持ってくと良いと思います。水中カメラはあれば是非とも持っていくことをおすすめします。
船から降りた後は目の前にステークシャックがあるので、そのままお昼に食べました。
もちろん海外なノリが多いため、苦手な方は考慮されたほうが良いですが、とても気分の良い、南国にきたなーーーーと思える体験でした。特に何を強要されるわけでもなく、各々が自由に旅行を謳歌している、そんな雰囲気でした。

Nothing bad about it

They don’t go too far out and it’s a pretty quick trip if you want to see some sea life and also do other things with your day. The catamaran ride was smooth and I enjoyed the short ride. Had a cocktail on our way back. Crew was friendly and couldn’t ask for a better time. Oh the music was great too!!

スタッフさんが親切でした！

船上では危ないことをせず座って楽しめばOKです！
サービスで冷たいお水を出してくれたり乗客に気配りしてくれたりスタッフさんが優しくとても楽しめました。
集合場所は、このサイトにのってるGoogle Mapの場所に行き、MOANAと書かれた船を見つけましょう。集合時間は7:30で乗船するのは8時頃でした。
8時頃にスタッフさんが船の近くで声をかけてくれました。
とてもおすすめです！

It was such an absolute pleasure going out with Captain Preston and Alex. We are in Hawaii fairly often and are looking forward to future tours with them. We really appreciated their knowledgeable approach to staying safe and making it fun for all of us. It was much more of a private experience compared to the tours we have taken on the larger boats and it made it all the more special. Everything from helping us select the best time of day to making sure everyone had a wonderful experience was done with such thoughtfulness and professionalism. A “little bird” even told Captain Preston about a family song that he made a point to play as we can back into the harbor. We all felt spoiled and loved every moment of our tour. As a Navy family we also really appreciate the military discount he offers. Completely recommend Island Splash Tours to anyone thinking about a boat or snorkeling tour!!

Catamaran Snorkle Turtle Canyon Waikiki

Plenty of time to snorkle and experience sea turtles and view the fish. Would highly recommend the Mana Kai Catamaran as it has less people, more exciting with waves and sailing and the crew was fantastic!

Incredible Experience

I would 100% recommend booking if you’re looking to come face-to-face with different fish and turtles. The trip included a lovely boat ride to turtle bay where we were given snorkeling gear and a floatation device. I was afraid we weren’t going to see any turtles, but the trip did not disappoint. The team was very professional, fun, and helpful. Overall, it was a memorable experience for all to enjoy.

We had a very peaceful morning out at turtle canyons- heading out we got a great view of Waikiki from the water, which was beautiful! We saw a lot of turtles, and even had some dolphins swimming right next to the boat on our way back!
I highly recommend this company and their tours. Their semi-private tours make for such a fun, relaxing, and personalized experience!

Me and my girlfriend had a blast with Preston and Kris. Very private experience! Only us and one other group onboard. They are very safety oriented and make sure that everyone is having a good time. We saw so many turtles, too many to count. Kris found us an octopus and a collector urchin.

ウミガメに出会えました

ガイドは英語の説明のみで、簡単な日本語も一切無し。
シュノーケルの付け方に慣れず、なかなか海に入れないでいたら、泳げない人は責任が取れないから泳がないでほしい、と言った話をされましたが、シュノーケルの呼吸の仕方のコツなど簡単なレクチャーがあってもいいと思います。
出航してからの手際はよく、ウミガメは海面付近に何度も出てきたので間近で見れました。

Reviewed by: Raoury, 2023/09/12Truly an incredible experience; managed to see a pod of dolphins on the way there, and multiple turtles once we got to Turtle Canyon, its basically like swimming in an aquarium. The boat isn't the largest of ones you see going out there but it allowed for us to hang our legs off the side into the water as it sailed out, just totally absorbing the vibes of it all. Great price for an amazing experience.

The equipment provided was great (mask, snorkel, flotation device) and our guides were friendly and made sure we had the opportunity to see plenty of wildlife. Our family swam with turtles, but sailing on the catamaran was just as exciting! It was easy to locate our catamaran from the beach and our family managed to get free parking at the Kapiolani park.

Oahu Turtle Canyon Snorkeling Cruise from Waikiki - Living Ocean Tours
FRIENDLY crew!!
Reviewed by: Yes to Hawaii, 2023/08/25This cruise was so much fun. The crew was really friendly and there were about 3-4 crew in the water with us which made novice snorkelers more comfortable. Overall, loved this cruise.
Tips:
-This boat departs from Kewalo Basin Harbor. The parking lot was crowded so Uber/Lyft or taxi is best.
-Bring sunscreen, towel, change of clothes for after
After we finished the snorkel sail, we headed over to Kakaako to grab lunch!
