Reviewed by: ksoukup, 2022/07/15Very fun vibe. Crew was fun and helpful. The live music was spectacular. We loved snorkeling! It was nice that you could do activities whenever you wanted and for how long you wanted. We did the afternoon and got our lunch as we boarded and it was good. Tide was higher, so we couldn't play volleyball but we got to go tubing and it was perfect for snorkeling. If you want a lower water level/less waves at the sand bar, I would say do the morning but we liked sleeping in and it was perfect for us as a couple. Families seemed to really enjoy it as well. I was really looking forward to this excursion and it met my high expectations for sure! Book it!

Good times
Reviewed by: Sindy, 2022/07/01I loved this experience. We got there early to find parking and decided to eat breakfast. My spouse took in the scenery, everything was so peaceful. The boat ride was about 7 minutes and the area was beautiful. We got to do most of the activities, ate donuts and drank juice. Would love to return and do it again.

Fun way to enjoy the Sandbar!!!

We will be back again. Ny husband lost his wallet in the ocean and one of the Captains was honest and returned it. This was such a blessing because our trip could have been ruined with no way to return home. But thanks to the crew on the boat , it stayed just as awesome as this fun day at the sandbar cruise!!!!

The best experience and crew

Such a great experience
Reviewed by: Shu, 2022/05/16We originally booked a self-guided kayaking trip to the sandbar with another company but decided to switch to the cruise last minute. Best decision ever! We had a blast with the activities and the musicians did a fantastic job keeping everyone excited. With a pregnant family member we felt safe snorkeling with a very responsible lifeguard watching us. Every crew member had a cheerful sprit which definitely was contagious. Kudos to the crew and we will be coming back next time we visit Oahu. Mahalo.

Another passenger had a health condition and they were so accommodating to her. Went with just the boyfriend and no kids, but they’re super accomadating to families with littles too. It’s a must go!

Wonderful experience

Amazing day at the Dandbar

The lunch was better than I was expecting and the boat was nice and roomy to walk around. The staff and the live music were great. We thoroughly enjoyed our day at The Sandbar I would definitely recommend this company. They also have a floating dock with chairs where you can sit and relax and look at the beautiful scenery around you which was really cool!

Great for many water activities in one spot!

We stayed in Waikiki for a short trip and decided to book with this company because it had many of the activities we wanted to do available in one trip. We chose the option to be picked up in Waikiki, and it took less than an hour to get to Kaneohe. BYO food and beverages so we packed hotdogs, pbj, water and my husband packed a beer. We also packed 2 towel and a change of clothes. There is a convenience store on the dock for last minute food and drinks; TBH we probably could have bought all our food and drinks at the dock instead of lugging it from Waikiki.
We set sail with live music to the sand bar which was incredibly magical. Took 4 songs to get to our area of the sandbar and the day we went the water was about 3 feet deep. I would ADVISE to get to the floating barge asap and get a spot because we had a large family get there first and dominate the raft. (Be courteous to others and let people enjoy the raft and don't hog it!) We got to experience all activities we wanted and it was over before we knew it. We didn't kayak and had maybe wanted one more hour but the time we were out there was enough to be highly satisfied.
We paid extra for the banana and tube rides and they were so much fun! While on the banana boat, the gentleman driving the speed boat slowed down for us to see the sea turtle that was swimming passed. What a great surprise! You only get one trip on each.
All the staff was friendly and I felt comfortable they had everything under control.
We would HIGHLY recommended this adventure, especially if you have a short time in Hawaii and want to do at lot of water activities. Great for families, too!
