Great adventure
Reviewed by: Laura L. , 2020/02/19It was a great day filled with great adventure. I saw a bunch of turtles and even Had a few swim a little closer than the 2 meters we were told to give them. The crew was fantastic. They were always checking on us on the boat and were always with in sight in the water.
The only thing I didn’t like was the 42 people (plus the 4 crew members) on board. It felt crowded even when were spread out on the nets and side (hard to move around to and from the bar.) capping the max to 35 guests (plus 4 crew) would have made it an outstanding day.

Catamaran was very good but snorkelling site was poor
Reviewed by: PMR, 2019/03/27Crew were friendly and fun and the catamaran was very good and comfortable.
The snorkel site was not very good though. Visibility was very murky and the few Turtles we saw were grey blobs in the distance. Poor assortment of fish to see compared to other locations we have been to.
Would book again, but only for the sailing tours, not the snorkelling.

great underwater views when snorkelling
Reviewed by: Charlie3, 2019/02/18activity instructions were not clear as there are 2 Outrigger hotels on Waikiki beach- maybe that can be made clear for future bookings.
safety instructions were good and snorkelling excellent with 2 helpers in the water to show where the turtles and fish were and keep you in the area. Waves were picking up when we left and I'm not a good sailor, so I didnt have any snacks or drinks . Sails were raised and all the crew were very good for the sail around the harbour.

See lots of turtles

Unforgettable

I wish there had been a little intro to snorkeling for those who haven’t done this before. Good memories were made.

great activiity and great value
Reviewed by: mrfujisan, 2016/12/31crew was competent and friendly. it was an easy boat ride to turtle canyon. crew kept close eye on snorkelers for swimmer safety and protection of turtles. I saw the crew actually pick up plastic bag debris drifting by the site (left by someone else) to prevent the turtles from ingesting it. That's my kind of tour operators!!! After snorkeling, Holokai set sail and we had a fantastic wind powered ride. it was great. I will use them again, and I will recommend them to my friends for when the come to Waikiki.

Great little adventure

Very Nice Time

Unfortunately it was windy and a boat of scuba divers scared off the fish and turtles or should I say made it hard to keep up with them. The crew was completely awesome. The sail to the other side of Diamond Head was amazing. We had a really good time.

The swimming was pleasant enough and we did get to see turtles up close which was definitely the point but the water was quite cloudy and visibility was a bit too low for you to really see much. Not the tour companies fault at all... you get what you pay for.

Relaxing Sail

Packet snacks like chips and candy were provided on board. You just have to pay for drinks (even bottled water). I would suggest bringing your own water.

Turtles!

Great staff, excursion average
Reviewed by: Lisa, 2016/04/03Staff was very friendly and helpful. When we got to the location, was expecting a little more based on what I read on the site. While we did see a couple turtles, they were few and far between. Also not a lot of fish. There were scuba divers in the same spot which made it tricky.
Afterwards, they took us out for about 30 minutes which was great.
I know the snorkeling is sparse on Waikiki so everyone is going to the same spots. Something I wasn't used to.
Tip
Fins are a must. They don't provide them.

Wonderful excursion for the morning
Reviewed by: Sheesh, 2016/03/29I was in Hawaii for business but had a free morning. So I booked this trip as a solo traveler. I think I was the only solo person, everyone else were families. I felt a little odd b/c no one really talked to me, guides included. The guides were very good though - responsible and good intro speech. So happy that one of them found an octopus to touch (though I felt bad for the octopus). The turtles were adorable and came up to breathe very close to us snorkelers. Then we sailed around the bay for a bit which was lovely. I'm very happy I fit this excursion into my business trip.
I was a little unclear on tipping also - the fee said all gratuities included, so I didn't bring any cash. But the guides said to please feed the tip jar if satisfied. Which I was, but I hadn't planned on bringing cash to tip. So that was a little uncomfortable as I didn't want to look like I didn't enjoy myself - I truly did!

海亀と泳ぐ

ポイントで停まり、海に入るとすぐ目の前に海亀と魚たちが泳ぎ廻っていました。
シュノーケリングを充分堪能し、ボートに戻ると、水とサンドイッチのサービス。
その後、ワイキキビーチ沖をクルージング。
目の見張るような海の蒼さに大感動。この値段以上の価値のあるツアーでした。
参加する際、泳ぎが苦手な方はライフジャケットを準備する必要があります。備え付けはヌードルだけでした。また、クルージングの際、風を切って走行するのでジャケット持参がお勧めです。

Lunch was provided, which had not been mentioned when booked but appreciated. The sail following snorkeling was very nice. Good trip; dependent on ocean conditions
Reviewed by: Allison, 2014/10/24I took this trip on my own. The staff were very friendly and personable and laid back. The catamaran was quite large and fit everyone comfortably. Unfortunately, the water was quite silty and therefore the visibility was poor. I saw a couple of turtles and a few fish, but overall the snorkeling portion of the trip was disappointing. It sounds like from other reviews it is not always this way, so I may have just been unlucky. After snorkeling, we sailed around, which was fun. Subway subs were provided for lunch; however there were no vegetarian friendly subs - I would recommend for the future that this option be made available.
Overall, the trip was good but would have been much better had the visibility been better.

Snorkel/Sail Tour
Reviewed by: Chris, 2013/09/11Snorkeling - Great to swim with the turtles, however no fish to really see. Provided with snorkel but not fins. maybe worth brining if you want to try and swim deeper and get to the turtles quickly before they return to the bottom. Probably saw 20-25 Turtles.
