THE BEST... WHAT AN AWESOME DAY AND CREW
Reviewed by: Chuck and Holly, 2019/09/19This is why people come to Hawaii for a vacation and adventure. Today we had an awesome time from start to finish. Both Laura and T. from Ohio ( forgive not knowing how to spell his name) were absolutely the best. Very easygoing, sociable, and very informative about the excursion, the ecosystem and all it encompasses. We could see the passion they both have for the environment. They worked well as a team, always putting safety first.
As for the the actual excursion... Pickup was on time, the briefing was short but thorough. And off we went. We were towed out to a point (to save time) then we were cut loose to follow our leader out to our destination. Once there, they reviewed the do's and don'ts regarding the ecosystem and its inhabitants. We snorkeled for over an hour while our guides educated us about all the different things we were seeing. Once done we kayaked back the the shore, rinsed off and sat down for an impressive lunch. (thanks to the cook) YUMMY
Sad to say it was over... highly recommend this tour, company and crew!!!

One of my best days
Reviewed by: Van Nguyen, 2019/07/03July 1, 2019 - Raymond was the best guide ever! He's very chill and easy to communicate with. He was very accommodating! we choose the later tour which I expected it to be much worse than the earlier scheduled tour, however we ended up being extremely lucky and it ended up being just me and my girlfriend. We had our own private tour with the best guide they had to offer! I would recommend this trip to everyone, very family friendly but also a nice thing to do for couples. My girlfriend really wanted to see some Green sea turtles and Raymond was able to make it happen! Once he spotted one, he immediately alerted us to come view the turtles. Definitely something to put in your books if you plan on heading down to Oahu. One thing to keep in mind is ALWAYS WEAR SUNSCREEN...ITS ALWAYS worth it.

SO MUCH FUN!

You break up into small groups so our family of 5 was able to do this activity together with our own private guide. He was fabulous and let us work as much as we wanted kayaking and then would pull us when my younger kiddos needed a break. So fun! Pleasant for kayaking and beautiful for snorkeling. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Snorkel-Kayak Tour at Kaneohe Bay

All around great experience

Highly recommend

I am a highly anxious person and they made you feel at ease and also catered for my allergy to gluten with the whole lunch being gluten free! Picked us up from our hotel and returned us after lunch. Couldn't of been easier!

A Great Tour
Reviewed by: HulaHoney, 2017/03/08The staff was great. If you get tired of kayaking they can tow you in. We snorkeled along some rocks. We saw a turtle and fish. It was nice to get out of Waikiki. The lunch was great too. One of the guides took pictures then shared them with us.
I would do this tour again.

Had a great time Kayaking and snorkelling
Reviewed by: Jeevan, 2016/10/15Everything ran like clockwork. The pickup from the hotel was on time and everything was ready for us to go when we arrived. As a new Kayaker I found the instructions helpful and really enjoyed the Kayaking. It was not only good fun but has given me the confidence to do a lot more kayaking in the future. As a part of the tour we also did some snorkelling in between kayaking. While snorkelling I saw five turtles and just before going out to snorkel we also saw a sting ray. I had high expectations for this tour and it managed to exceed them!
I must say thank you to Kevin who was our guide who was willing to answer all out questions and guided us around expertly making us feel at home on the water.
The lunch provided was great after having spent so much energy. It really hit the spot!

Great Time
Reviewed by: Ben H, 2016/08/11I had a blast! Usually go snorkeling on vacation. This is the 2nd time I've gone on a kayaking and snorkeling adventure. Was a little winded so the snorkeling activity was just OK. As for for the kayaking adventure... I loved it! Waters were a bit rough but manageable. As for the two tour guides Natalie and Zoey, I can't say enough about their friendliness, expertise and all around knowledge of the adventure and the history of the surrounding island

Kaneohe Bay Sandbar Kayak & Snorkel Adventure
Reviewed by: Marisa, 2014/06/02This tour is highly recommended for those who love getting out and active! Our guides Boris and Garrett were very helpful by instructing us on the basics of kayaking and snorkeling. We spent a total of about 1.5 hours snorkeling and about an hour of kayaking. I enjoyed seeing both coral reefs that we visited at the sandbar and loved to learn a little trivia about the place. I saw some wonderful reef fish and some folks even saw turtles. Afterward, we had a home-cooked BBQ lunch. Yum! The scenery was absolutely gorgeous and I hope to come again sometime. By the way, this tour is a ran by Holokai Kayak and Snorkel Adventure, a wonderful group that also runs a children's non-profit program Kama'aina Kids, which provides local children with day camps for learning environmental stewardship. Proceeds go to support the He'eia State Park and its programs. This place should be on your must see list!

Kayak & Snorkel Fun!
Reviewed by: BeachBoy, 2014/05/14This kayak trip was awesome. I booked this tour since I heard that snorkeling is awesome in Kaneohe, and I wanted to get away from busy Waikiki. I was picked up from my hotel in Waikiki in the morning, and once we got to the state park, we were greeted by friendly staff at their gift shop where we checked in.
Make sure you bring your insect repellent. I got bit by mosquitos a few times. Once we were briefed and went down to the launch pad, our kayaks were tugged to the boat so we didn't have to kayak all the way to the first snorkel spot. The guide dropped us around the half way, and we kayaked about 15min to get to the Coconut island. The coral was BEAUTIFUL and there were a lot of tropical fish.
After 30min or so, we were then tugged again to the 2nd location. It was awesome since we were already a little tired from snorkeling. I liked the 2nd location at the sandbar, and this spot was also beautiful. The other snorkelers spotted a huge sea turtle.
We then had a chance to choose if we wanted to kayak back or tugged on the boat again. I chose to kayak back, and it was a perfect amount for kayaking for a day.
They had a fresh water shower at the park, and they took us to their BBQ lunch spot where we had a chance to eat delicious lunch with their staff.
Overall, this was a great tour. Especially recommended for families with small children or older people who can't kayak too long. Tugboat was awesome.
