Maui Surf Lessons for Beginners at Kalama Beach Park (Kihei)
Kind and patient instructors who know how to make learning fun
Reviewed by: basic surfer, 2018/11/27We've done a few surfing lessons over the past decade. Our instructor this time topped them all. He was funny, kind, patient with our autistic son to the point of putting him on his own board and riding tandem. He spent half the class putting the extra effort to building up our boy's confidence before he was ready to try surfing on his own.
The picture of our kid's face when he stood up and surfed on his own was something worth buying - and we don't often purchase the pictures taken over the course of the lesson.
Josh didn't just teach him to surf, he gave him a lesson in confidence and perseverance that our son won't easily forget. The fact that he had the time of his life was just the umbrella on top of the coconut.

Reviewed by: マウイっ子, 2018/11/13 シュノーケルのみのプランで参加しました。早朝の集合で、送迎なしで申し込んだので心配でしたが、ワイキキ中心部のホテルから車で40分ほどでした。集合場所が少々分かりにくかったのですが、水族館を目指して行くとスムーズに行けると思います^ ^
朝ごはんはベーグル、フルーツ、マフィンから選べ、コーヒーやジュースもありました。昼ごはんは野菜やハムを挟んで作るサンドウィッチでした。どちらも美味しかったです！
お天気にも恵まれ、快適にモロキニ島へのクルーズと移動した後のシュノーケリングも楽しめました！説明は英語のみでしたが、理解はできました。
楽しかったです！ありがとうございました^ - ^

South Maui Kayaking & Turtle Snorkeling Tour with Seasonal Whale Watching
Turtletastic!
Reviewed by: Karen & Randy, 2018/10/30Our tour guide Matt was remarkably knowledgeable of both the local marine life and also local folklore, history and geography.
He guided us to two spots where we were snorkeling an arms length from some of the most beautiful sea turtles I have ever seen. The best part was because our group was small and coming off of kayaks, we had the entire area to ourselves for the most part. It was truly a breath taking experience.
Matt was engaging, funny, patient and willing to answer any and all questions we all had. I will definitely be doing this tour again, the next time I am in Maui. You will NOT be disappointed! Great value for money - an incredible experience!

ないのですが、今回のHawaii旅行で、マウイ島まで足を延ばし、久々の家族全員集合ができました。さらに、あまり、泳がない家内まで参加して、モロキニ島へのシュノーケリングに参加させていただき、海の透明度、魚群の多さ、美しさ、自然の豊かさを目の当たりにして、本当に楽しい家族旅行となりました。家族全員での写真、ビデオ宝物です。ありがとうございました。

We got to see turtles

楽しい時間になりました！

基本のツアーとしては、モロキニ島の周辺でのシュノーケル+スヌーバ体験。
ここでは正直そんなに魚はいないなというのが正直な感想でした。
その後で海亀の出るスポットに移動して、追加料金でシュノーケルorスヌーバができるということでした。
最初は全部込みでの値段だと思っていただけにがっかりする気持ちもありましたが、結果としては2匹の海亀と一緒に泳ぐこともできましたし、それ以外にも偶然的な要素はあったかと思いますがイルカやクジラも船の上からですが見ることができたので満足のいくツアーになりました。
基本的にツアーのインストラクターも陽気な人たちだったので、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。

Must do when visiting Maui!
Reviewed by: Margarita, 2017/05/17Hawaii is perfect for snorkeling! I have done it many times before, but I have never had a chance to get so close to sea creatures. Molokini Island is a moon shaped underwater volcano crater and it is one of the most famous snorkeling destinations in Hawaii. Hawaiians take good care of their ocean and have many rules to obey in it and one of them in not to touch anything in the water, which I just loved, you can get as close as possible but still have to respect animals. It is very nice to see that animals are totally relaxed here and would really come close to you if you dont attempt to jump on them. We had an amazing team, we had 2 stops for snorkling and the experience was just magical. Maybe you should consider to take a heli tour around there as well, as the views from above are just amazing and give you a real chance to enjoy the moon shape of the island! I twas a fantastic tour and I totally recommend everyone to get on it!

Our guide Derrick was really knowledgeable about the islands and ocean, and since we had him all to ourselves he let us choose where we wanted to kayak and how long we wanted to snorkel. He took us to great spots and we got to swim with a Monk Seal and 3 Turtles, one of which came close enough to touch! It was amazing and we would definitely do it again.

ウミガメ遭遇！
Reviewed by: ウミガメ, 2016/12/04波が強かったのもあり、モロキニ島では潜れませんでしたが、天気も良く、飲み物や食べ物も出て最高でした！ウミガメとも一緒に泳げたし、船と並走するイルカを見ることができ、貴重な経験をしました。
また、日本語を話せるスタッフはいませんでしたが、日本語の説明書が用意されていたので、安心して楽しむことができました。
また機会があれば是非利用したいです。

But otherwise we had a really great morning and the views were spectacular from up high. Recommended when you visit Maui.

楽しかった！

私はシュノーケリングのみに参加しました。モロキニ島近くはそんなにたくさんの種類の魚が見られなかったのでそれが残念。でも野性のアザラシがいました。スヌーバに参加した連れは波で酔ってしまったのでちょっと残念でした。
行き帰りにクジラが見られると近くに寄ってくれて、ホエールウォッチング・ツアーよりもたくさん間近でクジラが見られて感激しました。

West Maui Shore Scuba Diving Tour for Certified Divers - Extended Horizons
Great Instructors
Reviewed by: David, 2015/06/11I had a great time diving on MALA PIER and a run through with my SCUBA Skills read for diving on Molokini later in the week. Extended Horizons were fantastic and had checked my SCUBA qualification before I arrived so knew I have a 40' limit. We ran through the skills for 10 minutes and then spent 40 minutes exploring the pier. Loads of fish, turtles and pillow stars. I can't recommend this site strongly enough it was amazing.
