Great Time with the Family

One of the staff had a speed boat and took our family out for a cruise to look for sea turtles. We got to see a huge turtle swimming out in the ocean and it was definitely a highlight for our trip.

great family adventure

This is a must do activity while you are in Oahu. I think this is the #1 reason to visit Oahu so don’t miss out!!!
Reviewed by: Anniversary couple , 2024/04/12KBOS was an amazing company to book with. We paid for the transportation, but if you plan to rent a car I would skip that part. It is a little tour bus and there are no bathrooms and no easy way to stop for restrooms. Just take your own car if you have one.
The experience itself was spectacular! The entire crew was super nice and went out of their way to make sure everyone had a good time.
The boat is huge- it is the largest boat at the end of the harbor area- you can’t miss it.
It has big tables with benches. Plenty of room for everyone. There are bathrooms on the boat and a room to change in. bring a towel with you if you think you might get cold. We went in bathing suits only and it was fine. A little chilly on the ride back in to shore, but not bad.
We paid for all the activities in advance and it was worth every penny. The banana boat ride was fun. I’m extremely overweight and I was still able to do the banana boat ride. They held the banana boat so I could easily get on and off.
The sandbar is beautiful! It is a must do experience and we loved it.
I would recommend water shoes, but some people didn’t have any and seemed to be fine.
The captain let us go up top and took a picture for us. Great view and perfect pic opportunity.
You can snorkel if you want- they have everything on the boat. We saw fish without snorkeling.
There is some music they play and it is really a nice way to spend some time. It is just the perfect amount of time to be out there too. Just enough time to do all the activities and enjoy the experience.
Bring snacks or drinks on the boat if you want. You can leave your bag and valuables right on the boat where you were seated. It seems super safe.
There is a little store at the harbor just before you get in the boat that sells alcohol and sunscreen and other items you may want.
The crew was super friendly and really tried to make it fun and make you feel welcome.
Bring tip money for the crew and for the band.

Great Excursion highly recommend
Reviewed by: Lynn Tran, 2024/04/07My hubby and I took our 9 and 5 year old on this Sandbar trip. It was a short boat ride out & the kids never got motion sickness.
Tour guide was very thoughtful and had a bunch of water toys for everyone, we had canoes, SUP, volley ball and various water sports stuff to go around.
It took 3-3.5 hours which is just perfect and right when we got tired it was time to head back.
The band playing music was very good and this is a nod to the singer as he was clearly a talent and easy on the eyes
This trip was great!! Just enough tabs priced reasonably oh and bring your own snacks & booze!! That was cool they let us pack our own munchies!

so much fun!

They provide food and all the gear to snorkel or paddle board. The weather wasn’t the nicest when we went (cloudy) but we still had so much fun, and the staff was so nice!

What a great last day of our vacation.
Reviewed by: Drew, 2024/04/05The music from Kalani was great on the way out to the sandbar. He was so nice, making sure he was delivering the best Ohana. The sandbar was amazing, if it hadn’t been so windy it would have been the perfect day. My son didn’t hesitate to get out on the kayak and SUP. The fish were breathtaking in the reef. We will definitely be back. The staff were so amazing and so ready to help out with anything. We loved it as a family.

Great atmosphere

Had a great time
Reviewed by: Karen, 2024/04/02The weather was cool, cloudy, windy and even a little rainy. We still had a great time. The music was amazing! The food was good, and served shortly after we left the dock. The boat provided protection from the elements. The crew was fun and friendly. When we arrived on the sandbar we were able to kayak, and paddle board. There was a large area of buoys they asked us to stay within. They had lifeguards in the water with us. They had us wait to snorkel and recommended a very specific spot to snorkel. I was confused at first, but they knew what they were doing. The sun came out, the tide came up a bit, the variety of fish was amazing. As soon I would drift out of the recommended area the coral and fish were less plentiful. Our group of 8 had a great time, and if the weather had been nice 5 wouldn't be enough stars. The music alone was work the price. Don't hesitate to book this trip.

They give you some bread to feed the fish so that we see a lot of fishes swimming around during snorkeling. They have lots other activities for you to play around, and the most best part is: all the staffs are super nice, and they SING GOOD!!!

Great experience for beginners
Reviewed by: C&D, 2024/03/19This was a great experience for those who aren’t very active. The staff and crew were super friendly and the live music was awesome and they were super engaging.
However, if you’re looking for more of an adventure this is not the trip for you. Mind you, this is not a criticism at all. At the sand bar, the water is knee high, and they make you wear a life jacket for snorkeling in water where you can literally touch the ground. All other activities also require life jackets in knee deep water.
We personally would not do this trip again, but we would definitely recommend it for those who want to be in the water but don’t want to take any risks.

Reviewed by: Sarah, 2024/03/16Loved this trip! My group and I had the BEST time. Loved the floating platform for hanging out, having some drinks, dancing (we brought our own waterproof speaker).
Some of our group also liked trying the stand up paddleboarding (though noted the area you're allowed to go in is pretty small) and the snorkling.
Would definitely recommend for a big group, such an easy way to get everyone out to the sandbar and enjoy the stunning turquoise waters. We did it as part of our wedding week with guests.

Need to see while in Hawaii
Reviewed by: Jason R, 2024/03/15Must see when in Hawaii it’s about a 20 minute boat ride out to the sandbar and there’s few companies have monopoly on it. However, they do make it enjoyable and relaxing. They have stand up paddle boards and kayaks for use but it’s only a small area you can go. This is just for relaxing and viewing Hawaii from a really beautiful location. Snorkeling isn’t the best because you’re only able to see a few fish. So what they could do better… selling or including drinks onboard. You have to bring everything with you although if you pay the fee you receive a bag of chips, a sandwich and juice/water. I didn’t like that we had to wear a life vest to snorkel, but maybe it’s to protect the coral so you don’t stand on it. Other than that the live music was awesome and everyone had fun.

We also love how they guide us on how to do the snorkeling and how they are protecting us while doing our sandbar activities. Special thanks to Toby for checking on us while doing the paddle board. We will definitely go back with them on our next Oahu trip! Highly recommended! Don't go somewhere else if you want the best Sandbar experience!!!

Thanks to that, returning to the boat after activities wasn't boring. Moreover, kids can see a lot of fish at a shallow depth for snorkeling. I highly recommend this tour! The staff are extremely kind and friendly.
