Beautiful Dinner Cruise

The NO TOILET BOAT but 2 because we see the sunset

Avoid this cruise $300 a couple for dinner dancing cruise but no dancing ( see pictures). First, boarding was late then a person came out slovenly dress and said they were going to board.
Second problem all of the plates were out before we boarded with single file space you had to look for your “name” which means everybody’s face has been all over YOUR plate gross. Can we say Cova 19 boys and girls? AFTER, we left port was the announcement that the toilet DO NOT work and that we could NOT put toilet paper in the toilet that we had to put it in the garbage can beside it, bottle water provided for hand washing no soap! Wait no soap?! no running water??!! When my husband had to used the restroom they pour water in hands, NO paper towel, and was given hand sanitizer. REALLY??!!There was no dancing possible because we were crammed upstairs because the RUGS downstairs were pulled up.
I guess we’re to dance in my seats?!
THEN BLAME GAME: after cruise requested refund was told to call VIATOR ( which I did upon my return THEY REFUSED!!! Piss on!! Now I am pissed off!! someone needs must return ANY money and refund they should did us a favor and cancelled this tour. Viator offers get FREE CANCELLATION VIA ANYBODY for EVERYTHING USED. IF BOOKED THROUGH them get guarantee or pay extra for free cancellation or good faith agreement.
if there is a agency that handles this boating industry in Hawaii? I want you to email me all of the information that I need to forward all of my pictures as well as picture of four other couples shut down time!! I got nothing but time.

A great night for a birthday celebration!
Reviewed by: Madi, 2022/07/02The sunset dinner cruise was a very fun night. And of course, the ocean and views were so, soo beautiful. Dinner was pretty good. I had mahi-mahi with potatoes and carrots. Others in my party had some prime rib that was the better choice.
We had pleasant time all around!
1 note however, the boat was a little loud and looked a bit old and worn. But once the sun was setting and we had some drinks, none of that seemed to bother me anymore!
I definitely recommend!

Beautiful scenery
Reviewed by: Oscareen, 2022/04/08The sunset cruise was very relaxing and had a big thick rainbow that stuck around until the sun set. The food wasn’t amazing, but it was good. We only got 2 drinks included, NOT 3 as posted.
The captain did find whales for us though! So a free whale watching was included!
A really enjoyable time. The DJ was hilarious!

Great experience

Good experience
Reviewed by: Jess, 2021/08/03I wish we picked a better day. Sunset was completely covered with the cloud so we couldn't really see the sunset at all. Food was average so does service there. they also pair you to sit with some other couple facing each other, which I thought it was pretty awkward and uncomfortable. I was surprised that they made us to tip the server separate to us, but was alright.

The best excursion of our trip!

Honestly, we were happy to be on the ocean and enjoy the beautiful sunset. We were pleasantly surprised with the dinner, drinks, and excellent service. The crew was friendly, helpful, and just fantastic—especially the captain who went over and beyond finding whales for us to see. The singer/guitar player was outstanding. We enjoyed dancing on the bough of the boat.
Thank you for helping to make our first trip to Maui more memorable!

We were especially surprised that the food was of great quality and served just right. We had the prime rib and the Mahi Mahi. Both were perfect! The captain stopped for some whale sittings. Would highly recommend supported this cruise as they were off for 11 months and now only go out Wednesday’s- this was their forth sailing since reopening. Highly recommend this for any occasion!

great food lovely cruise spoilt by poor seating

We had steak menu which was delicious apart from the fact that no choice was given on how you prefered the steak cooked. Only first drink served at table other drinks were served at bar. The tables and seats were packed in close and the chairs bolted to floor. It was really difficult to get in and out of chairs to go to bar. Overall staff were pleasant and entertainment ok but if we were to choose a dinner cruise again it would not be on the princess. Sorry guys but I know we were on the ocean but we ain't sardines

Book early to ensure a shittle space... We drove and enjoyed quaint town shops before and after cruise... we'd do it again!

Good for couples but not solo Traveler's

The best sunset dinner cruise

Everything about the event was exceptional starting by the pickup at our hotel ,the check-in process,the photos,the reserved seating,the drinks,the food and the food servers. We were entertained by the singer/guitar player throughout which was very pleasant. The weather was perfect and we were thrilled when a humpback whale and her baby were breeching within our view. We are looking forward to a whale watching cruise on the Maui Princess in a few days as part of the special package deal. We highly recommend the Maui Princess.

Beautiful relaxing sail
Reviewed by: Catherine , 2016/06/14We ended our trip in Maui with the sunset dinner cruise. It was perfect because it was a very relaxing night. Before we got on the boat, it was a little unclear what we needed to do with our Veltra vouchers, the man working there sent us on the line with out getting our real tickets needed so we were sent off the line to go back and get those. Not a huge deal, but maybe more of a clear direction when people get there could avoid that. The drinks were yummy and the food was pretty good. I tasted my boyfriend's steak and liked it better than my Mahi Mahi, so I would say go for the steak instead ! A tasty cheesecake was served for dessert as well! We got hit by one huge wave at the end which was kind of scary because the boat tipped a lot, otherwise it was smoothe sailing over all and a beautiful experience.

I've been on much better

Chairs were bolted down so no movement and extremely uncomfortable. And 90% of the 'cruise' was us drifting in the water...I expected a sunset cruise to, well, cruise....

Excellent evening

At first we were worried as when we left the harbor it was really hot, no breeze and we were baking while awaiting the dinner service. About 45 minutes into the cruise the boat made a bit of a direction turn and the breeze made all the difference. The rest of the cruise was enjoyable; food was adequate and dinner service was good. People on the boat were friendly and accommodating. The music was good, but only "our generation" knew the songs. Our daughter was clueless on the genre. We headed out toward the north west at a slow pace. The Maui mountains were a beautiful backdrop. The sunset was a bit obscured by the low cloud cover but still amazing. Before passing Kaanapali beach we turned back and headed in. I wish we had toured further but all in all it was a good experience.

Would not do it again
Reviewed by: William Barber, 2012/11/10When I chose this dinner cruise on our first trip to Maui, I thought "larger boat, more space". Instead, it was "larger boat more people". The four of us in our group could not believe how many tables were set up on the upper deck. In my opinion, it was not even safe if something had happened to the ship. I even had the sense that the ship was top heavy.
We sat near the bow in the center. For whatever reason, everyone was served around us before we received our food. We were absolutely the last people served, but we weren't the last table in any of the rows. I realize that some table has to be last, but it didn't make any sense in the way they served the tables. We even had to remind them that we hadn't been served. The people at the stern were close to the bar and the food. They were finished with dessert before we had been served. There was almost no way to get the three drinks included with the meal unless you ordered all of them at once. Too many people trying to order from one
