Reviewed by: Lori G, 2023/09/09This was the highlight of our island hopping experience!.. family of 6.. ages 9, 12, 17 and 21 and they all said this was the best part of our travel time in Oahu and the big island!.. looking forward to doing it again on our next visit!!! Directions were clear to meet at harbor, check in with ease and lunch was delicious!. Crew is so helpful and fun. Will recommend to anyone who visits.. family and friends including those fb groups for tips on travel here..

Was so good to be out on a very nice boat, but even better to be out with a captain and crew with great positive energy!! Took my 16 yo,14yo,7yo with and we all had a great time with great memories!, even had dolphins ride the wake of the boat for a bit!

Fantastic experience!
Reviewed by: Nolan, 2023/09/04Experience was easily worth it for the money. Many other tour options in the area, but this one easily is the best for the price. The included photos & videos to allow you to be in the moment is a fantastic plus that I wish every company did for experiences like this. It allows you to still remember it without having cameras all over the place.I also highly recommend you forgo cage diving & instead do this type, it is a better experience.
The crew was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful & friendly. You can tell they love the experience & getting people to overcome their fears & have a great time. At no time during the whole swim did I feel unsafe. The divers did a great job of keeping everyone together & in a good area, and communicating necessary instructions. They did a remarkable job showcasing how misunderstood sharks are & once you get out swimming with them, it really does become apparent how calm they can be. They’re just as curious of us as we are of them.
I would do this experience again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful sunny day off Waikiki
Reviewed by: Palmer family, 2023/09/01Our family spent the day sailing to Turtle Canyon where we stopped to snorkel in the warm waters off Waikiki. The equipment provided was great (mask, snorkel, flotation device) and our guides were friendly and made sure we had the opportunity to see plenty of wildlife. Our family swam with turtles, but sailing on the catamaran was just as exciting! It was easy to locate our catamaran from the beach and our family managed to get free parking at the Kapiolani park.

2回目の参加ですが
Reviewed by: kaaan, 2023/08/27以前（8年前に）参加した時は天候も良く、サンドバーも膝ぐらいの高さでとても楽しめました。
シュノーケルも列になって泳ぐという感じで
スタッフの方が一緒に海に入ってすぐ側にいて
安心できました。
子供が出来て少し大きくなったので
また参加したのですが
今回は大人の胸ぐらいの高さで
子供は楽しめずでした。
シュノーケルの場所も海は濁っていて
魚はあんまり見えませんでした。
またシュノーケルも以前はスタッフの方が
一緒に海に入って見守ってくれてましたが
船の上から見てるだけでした。
波に流されてコースから外れると結構怖くて、、
以前が安心して参加出来たので
今回参加したのですが
初心者だったり、泳ぎが得意じゃなくても
参加できます！という雰囲気ですが
自然相手なので難しいとは思いますが
個人的には今日はシュノーケルはやらずにいたと思います。結構怖かったので。
いつもより波があるよ今日の海の情報とかがあると
もう少し説明があると良かったと思います。
海に入る前後の
人数確認とかも特にされてなかったので
安全対策とかどうしているのかは謎ででした。
海の経験がそんなにない人にはあまりおすすめできません。。

Great day on the water

Deluxe Waikiki Private Yacht Charter Experience with Hot Tub
Fun boat for friends!
Reviewed by: Yes to Hawaii, 2023/08/25Absolutely LOVED this trip!! We did the 11am-3pm time block and it was perfect. The inside cabin was also air-conditioned. And, yes, the hot tub was perfect too!
We brought our own snacks and drinks since we knew it was a longer 4-hour trip. Snorkel equipment was included for those of us that wanted to snorkel.
The boat was HUGE (74ft!) so we had plenty of space. We brought our own smaller speaker which was great for lounging on the bow of the boat.

サンドバーの綺麗さ、亀探しでは亀もマンタも見ることが出来てラッキーでした。
最後のサンゴの周りでのシュノーケリングは、偶然にも大きな亀を間近で見ることが出来て、今まで体験したことが無い、衝撃的な感動をする事ができました。
船長も含めて、全てのスタッフさんが親切でした。
本当にありがとうございました！

The sandbar was beautiful and we were lucky to see both turtles and manta rays when we were looking for turtles.
The last snorkeling around the coral reef, I happened to see a big turtle up close, which was a shocking experience that I have never experienced before.
All the staff, including the captain, were very kind.

Makana Charters is the best!

They were friendly, knowledgeable, and entertaining! We enjoyed the stories and Hawaiian tradition around the various stops along the way. I was impressed that Bobby remembered every person's name on the boat and showed a genuine interest in each and every one. Leroy even took song requests! The water was a bit choppy the day we went, but that made it all the more fun! We enjoyed the amazing sights of the Na Pali coast, the cave and waterfall, the dolphins swimming right under the kids' feet off of the bow, the sea turtle waving hello, and the snorkeling. The sandwiches were delicious, too! I would definitely book with Makana Charters again! We had a blast!

Perfect way to end a day in paradise

They took pictures of couples and families if you asked and generally made everything fun and casual. I had never been on a catamaran before and I felt perfectly comfortable.It's a small craft, so you will get wet, but not soaking (unless you opt to ride on the webbing up front). Memories for a lifetime!

想像よりかなり寒くてガクガク震えていました。
厚めのバスタオルを人数分持っていくのをオススメします！
海は綺麗でしたがシュノーケルの場所に魚はあまりいなかったです。
楽しいガイドさんと船上ハンバーガー、最後の温かいドリンクが良かったです!

The boat ride felt like a roller coaster ride, the sightseeing was breathtaking, the crew was so friendly and kept us entertained with all the knowledge and stories about the island and lastly the snorkeling experience was so refreshing!! I am a non swimmer and so a big paranoid in very deep water, even with my floaties!! But leeroy took such good care of me when I was snorkeling, he even took me for a ride in the water with a tube, so that I could see more fishes and get a complete experience, it was amazing!!!
The whole crew is amazing, captain Rob, Kana with the storytelling skills and Ofcourse Leroy, they all make such a a amazing team. Will be back soon!
