Perfect Pre-Dinner Outing!!!

The crew was fantastic and extremely helpful the entirety of the trip. The boat fits a good amount of people but is still small enough to feel like you are not lost in a crowd. When leaving the dock, we saw a big group of surfers and then sailed along the entire coast up to Diamond Head. We saw a beautiful sunset, and even a pod of Hawaiian Spinner dolphins on our way out! After the sun sets, you get a great view of the city lit up at night and a beautiful view of the moon as well.
Great selection of drinks, first one is free (additional alcohol for only $6), and it’s not your usual cheap beer/wine but actually a full bar with great spirit choices!!
The price of the tour is extremely fair and we definitely would recommend this specific charter to any friends and family!!!! Thanks Moana Catamaran for a great evening!

Sunset Cruise!

Definitely recommend booking through them and will do it again when we come back to Hawaii! Shout out to Sarah for giving her rain jacket to the lady next to me so she wouldn't get wet!

10/10 Best Sailing Vibes in Hawaii

Entry was smooth with friendly staff to help with setting a great sail during golden hour near diamond head. I would not skip out experience additional whale watching alongside this blue coastal waters (if your lucky). Bring a pack of claws and your friends into one of the best water rides this side of the Pacific.

Something you Have to Do for a First Time Visit to Oahu!

Booze , great music, the sunset , recommend it to anyone visiting Oahu for the first time, whether if its with family, friends, or partner; its just an amazing experience. Best experience in Hawaii with Moana Waikiki
Reviewed by: Liza, 2021/08/06I am a widow and did this experience with my three sons - ages 24,23 and 15 .. might never happen again …as they grow older and probably have their own families .. wishing I could do it again with them.. fortunately, they enjoyed the sail and asked me when again (I had in my heart a leap of joy ) .. cause the sail was smooth and fun out the sea with lively music, some laughters when the water splashed towards us ( we were seated at the front right side of the boat) didn’t expect that to happen and got soaking wet, basking in the sun, watching the dolphins play (this was truly awesome !) and taking sunset photos. I highly recommend Moana Waikiki .. the crew was friendly and this pretty and amiable lady was going around asking if we need anything and volunteering to take photos of us - it was highly appreciated! We had so much fun! Lovely and beautiful memories to treasure!

I loved getting to sail for the majority of the time that we were on the water, and getting a view of Waikiki & Diamond Head from the water! We had a great view of sunset as well, and planes taking off from HNL. It was BYOB, but they also had drinks for sale on the boat ($5/drink or $20 bottomless). The boat had a decent number of passengers, but I don’t think it was sold out, so it didn’t feel too crowded. The attached photo is of the boat before we boarded and left the marina.

Great Crew, Wonderful Views

My family and I were able to book our experience in the same week we took the cruise, I felt it was priced quite fairly and the process was very easy. The website's description was very helpful and I appreciated having the option to purchase dinner if I so wanted to. I did not buy the dinner package but the other guests who did seemed quite happy with their meals, though there weren't tables to place your food on. If you do choose to get the dinner, eat it before you get out to the open waters as you and your food can get pretty wet from ocean spray depending on where you sit. If you don't want to get wet there's plenty of seats that stay dry, though the catamaran can fill with many guests so arrive early if you want the best seating options. Overall, my family and I loved our experience, my mother was a bit worried as the crew didn't discuss emergency protocol but I never felt like this was a concern. The 90 minute trip had excellent views, wasn't too rocky, and I liked being able to bring my own drinks or purchasing drinks from the crew. I would highly recommend this activity to couples, families with older children, or friend groups. If I ever return to Oahu I would thoroughly like to do this again!

Great family night out

Amaaaazing!!!

If you’re looking for one of the best evenings you’ll have in Oahu, book this cruise without any reservations. It was easy to find. There’s a direct bus that goes from the Waikiki area and lands you on the basin where you’ll find your catamaran docked! Do it!

Fantastic Sunset Cruise!

BYOB cocktail sunset cruise

Crew spotted a family of mantas which just made the trip even better ! So amazing !!!! It was BYOB so we brought our own cocktails but the boat offers a good variety of drinks for $20 all you can drink !
Would highly recommend !!!

Great time and a beautiful sunset view!

Beautiful, relaxing and entertaining catamaran trip in Waikiki

The crew was also helpful pointing out turtles, whales and other wildlife when they were present. The option to order food for the trip was helpful and the menu options were great! The crew made the trip enjoyable from beginning to end. This is a five-star experience!
