  • This activity is not wheelchair accessible.
  • If less than 2 participants are booked, the activity may not operate.
  • Children 10 years old and above can participate in this activity.
  • There is a weight limit of 250 lbs. (113 kg) in order to safely participate in the tour.

Other requirements

  • Please call the activity provider the day before to reconfirm your booking. Your voucher has the necessary contact information listed.
  • For groups of five (5) people or more, a 15% gratuity will be collected by the activity provider.

Booking requirements (# of participants, vehicles, hours, etc.)

  • You can book a maximum of 6.

Required items to bring & attire

  • Water shoes / sports sandals
  • Swimsuit

Additional notes

  • The activity schedule is subject to change or cancellation due to weather or traffic conditions.
  • Gratuity is not included in the price.
  • All participants who go in the water must wear a flotation device.
  • The State of Hawaii laws state that only permitted guided tour companies and their guests are allowed to land for snorkeling at the Captain Cook Monument. Fines will be issued and equipment confiscated for those landing who are not part of a permitted guided kayak tour or have not obtained an individual permit from the State Parks website.

Q. Are you required to wear a life jacket?
A. You are required to wear a life jacket while in the Kayak. It is recommended that you wear it while you are snorkeling, but it will not be required for snorkeling unless you are unable to swim.
Q. Do I need to be able to swim to participate?
A. You do not need to know how to swim. If you don't know how to swim you will be required to keep your life jacket on for the whole trip.
Q. How many people are there in a tour group?
A. This adventure is limited to a maximum group size of 12 people.
Q. What if the kayak flips over?
A. Your guide will give you proper instructions on how to right your Kayak, if you are having difficulties, physical assistance will be given.
