Morning sandbar tour
Reviewed by: Samantha , 2023/05/22My boyfriend and I are locals and haven’t been to the sandbar in years. This tour was everything we were hoping for and more! The staff was super friendly, engaging, and really went out of their way to ensure everyone had a good time. The boat is pretty spacious so there’s plenty of shade when you need a break from the sun. Plus you can’t go wrong with live music! Not sure if any other tours offer that! We will definitely be booking again :).

Fun filled experience!!

Great time on the sand bar and wonderful trip

Most unbelievably fun experience ever

The ride to the sand bar was pretty quick however I wish it was longer because they had an amaaaazing live band. Kaawa Entertainment. I could listen to them forever. Unfortunately, we reached our destination, and I could no longer listen to them. However, playing in the sandbar was soooo much fun. I thoroughly enjoyed the kayaking and paddle boarding. They also had snorkeling which I didn't enjoy as much. But my wife really loved the snorkeling. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My wife and I both had trouble steering the paddle board initially and we were out of bounds. But the staff was very nice about it and helped us back in bounds. The sandbar is so amazing where you're in the middle of the ocean yet you are walking on sand. There were no waves so it was pretty easy to maneuver around. I could've stayed there for hours longer but the event was over. 10 stars out of 5. If you go please tip the staff and entertainment a looot. They really made the experience sooo much more fun. Highlight of our 8 day trip to Hawaii.

Great Experience!

However, The band and the crew are really what made the experience. The band was excellent, and the crew members were all so kind and helpful. It seemed like everyone working on the boat was genuinely happy to be there. Being in their presence helped me understand the “aloha spirit” a little bit more. Thank you so much for a beautiful day!

The best time!
Reviewed by: Katy H, 2023/05/08We were pleasantly surprised to find this last minute on our trip! We drove from Waikiki, definitely need to arrive early for parking! It was easy to find. Staff was very fun and knowledgeable, live music was great, even the lunch was simple but fresh and delicious! You can bring whatever you need on the boat and have access to it at all times. Location is beautiful. We unfortunately had a very windy day which made water choppy and chilly for me but still a very great experience! Many beautiful fish and my boyfriend was lucky enough to get close to a sea turtle! Highly recommend booking this activity! They even have a lifeguard in the water, good for all ages!

Amazing time for the morning tour
Reviewed by: David N , 2023/05/07Group of 6 with young kids and my parents in their 70s. We arrived at 845 for a 9am departure. Signed waivers and bought stuff at the harbor- really nice store with snacks, beer, sodas. Didn’t depart till 915 so I felt a little robbed for our time at the sand bar. Which is my only complaint because we wanted to soak up every minute. All the activities advertised were there. Live band was fun. Morning Donuts were huge. Water and juice was nice. The drive there and back was smooth. Staff was very nice. My 3 year old wanted to “help” during clean up but was more in the way and the staff was very chill. They offered snacks when they saw he was sad to be leaving. We will definitely consider coming back for the longer and catered afternoon tour. Thanks.

Am tour

The musical entertainment and staff were marvelous and of course feeding the fish was awesome overall pretty cool, next time we'll kayak un ourselves

Awesome Day!

The crew was super helpful and made us feel very comfortable that at the end of the day we were all pretty good on SUP boards. The live music was awesome. Our family’s second Hawaii Trip back to back years and it’s so good we had to come back!!!!

A wonderful experience
Reviewed by: Sharla, 2023/04/20We had a big group of us go on this tour. It was seamless from the start. Check in was super easy, the boat ride was quick and so much fun!! The band was incredible!! And the donuts were yummy. When we got to the sandbar instructions were given and we got to go explore and have fun! My daughter actually got stung by a jellyfish while snorkelling and it could have ruined our excursion but the staff were excellent. Got her help immediately and were super attentive and caring to make sure she was doing ok. They even shared their own experiences with jellyfish. She got out in the water and had more fun before we had to head back to shore. Thank you for everything!! If we come back to Oahu we would definitely do another tour!!

We have a friend that’s on the island so we came over from vacationing on Maui to visit. Check in was super easy. The boat was clean and well kept and the crew was amazing. Loved the live music on the journey to and from the sandbar. Once we arrived, there was a little something for everyone. Paddleboarding, kayaking, hanging out on a floating platform or snorkeling! They even had inner-tubing and banana boat rides for an extra fee. The views of the island were stunning. Trip lasted roughly 3 hours so plenty of time to still explore the island after. Shout out to Preston and Jesse for all the aloha and good vibes. It was a super fun trip and we highly recommend to anyone visiting Oahu. It’s a really great excursion.

Festive and fun the whole time... beautiful setting with the smaller islands and mountains surroundings, standing a mile off shore in the middle of the bay. Nice touch having the floating lounge, and thoughtful idea providing fish treats for snorkeling(!) The music Jessie and crew played on board, and DJ-ed during activities was awesome--so much fun dancing with the fish! We only wish could have had more than one go of the banana boat and bumper tube. Worth doing more than once on a trip here, definetly--almost tried walking in backward when we were leaving

Enjoying the Journey

I thought they might be hesitant, but they tried The banana boat and the bumper boat and loved it, probably one of the most fun things they did on this trip. The only thing I would say I was disappointed about this excursion was that the description said they will provide soda or coke with lunch but we got lemonade instead. The bathroom on the boat also needs to be restocked before taking the next ride out. There were no soaps or hand sanitizer to use. Besides this, we had such a fun time.

Great trip to the sandbar

Reviewed by: Doris, 2023/04/02From the moment we were picked up near the hotel and dropped off at it, this was a class 1 experience. Everyone made sure we had a great experience. We were a party of 7 ranging from 81years old to 12. We all rode the banana boats, thrilling! One of us fell off (not the 81 y/o) and was retrieved. The float ride was thrilling our 12 y/o said. The water is clear, the fish ample and snorkels provided along with advice for best viewing. The musicians were outstanding, the fellow passengers getting in the groove and dancing. Whole experience a lifetime memory.

EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME!

They provided all the above for a great rate plus you can add on other activities like the bumper boat ride etc. I highly recommend Veltra tours! You won't be disappointed!! Mahalo
