We chose this Luau experience because it was in Wakiki area. First you arrive to a mall and go to floor 4 for dinner. Dinner was outdoor under a covered area. The food quality was great and the entertainment during the m... moreeal was fantastic. Hula dancers and music. Thye even invited guests up to try hula. For us the dinner was the best part. Now on to the show.
If you are looking for a traditional Hula show at a Luau, go elsewhere. This show is in a theatre, so you are indoor. The show is Hawaiian dance thru the ages. It begins with a traditional hula dance and ends with one, but the majority of the show is Elvis and Micheal Jackson performances. Now, the quality of the performance by the performers was first class. All the singers and dancers were excellent performers, so for a show, it was well worth the money we paid. It just isn't what you think of for a traditional Luau. It is better to take a shuttle and to somewhere like Gerards if you want a traditional Luau experience including making Laies and seeing the pig pulled from the ground.

This cruise was great with our 18 month old. The boats are wide and spacious and have great visibility on any seat. We enjoyed the commentary and singing while we rode -- and barely noticed the rain.

The short walk t... moreo the fern grotto was lovely and lush. Not to mention the grotto itself. We learned more about the traditions of the place and watch a Hula performance of a love song. The guides did not rush us through the walk and were very warm and friendly.

Recommend -- especially if you have young children and need something fun to do with them. My son loved the boat ride!

We had a wonderful time everyone and everything made our time special love it

There was so much to see and do. We thoroughly enjoyed the demonstrations and musical presentations. We learned how to make poi, husk coconuts, and weave palm fronds, among other things. The dinner buffet was the best... more ever, with so much variety in the wide range of menu items. The theater presentation “The Breath of Life” was outstanding! Kudos to all the young university students who work so hard to provide such a unique cultural experience. Everyone was warm and welcoming. This was our second visit (previous one was in 1986) and we were not disappointed. We would return again in a heartbeat!

Good performance given sever flooding one day before cruise.

This was an awesome way to see, hear and taste the Hawaiian culture! The activities were informative, enjoyable and engaging!
Great activity for a family, group of friends or even a classroom!
