クアロアは観光化されていて英語がわからなくても安心して利用できましたが、こちらは日本語が話せる方はいなかったので不安のあまり馬の上でくらくらしました。しかしスタッフの方が熱心で温かくフォローしてくださったのでなんとか安全に過ごすことができました。
馬が賢いのでほとんど乗っているだけで大丈夫でしたが、下りは少し怖くて力が入り、終了時は膝が痛かったです。
乗馬時は危険防止のため、水と携帯は専用のバッグにいれるように言われました。また、風がつめたいので、羽織るものも必要です。ウインドブレーカーに長ズボン、スニーカーで参加しました。
ヘルメットは自己責任らしかったでが、私はお借りしました。帽子は風で飛ばされて自分も馬もおどろくので、ヘルメットで正解でした。今回は説明がわからず、緊張したため雄大な景色を堪能できませんでしたが、もう一度ぜひ参加したいです。途中でスタッフの方が撮ってくださった写真は素晴らしく、とてもよい思い出になりました。

Big Island Horseback Ride Tour, Chocolate Tasting & Pizza - Pali Nana Farms
Loved Every Minute!!

I really liked seeing the other side of The Big Island on my way there. Upon arriving and stepping out of the car, I was greeted with an amazing view of the ocean from the top of a hill. I also thought I was the first to arrive for the ride, but soon learned that I was the only rider for the 1:00 ride. My daughter was unable to join me, as previously planned, but I decided to attend anyway. They were so happy to have me, extremely welcoming and accommodating to take me out by myself. They gave me my choice of horse, and allowed me to decide if we would ride first, or have the wood- fired pizza for lunch before setting out on the trail. I chose to ride first, as this was what I had been looking forward to for weeks! My beautiful horse was Rain, and she was lovely. The ride was wonderful as we made our way through the eucalyptus forest. I was accompanied by two guides who were very knowledgeable of horses, of course, but also the trees, plants, and Hawaiian history of the farm and the Big Island. When we returned from a wonderfully enjoyable trail ride, my hand made garden pizza was hot and ready. I also learned how they make their artisan chocolate, participated in a small step of the process and received samples of the cocoa nibs and the finished chocolate! I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting The Big Island who is looking for a relaxing and beautiful way to spend several hours in nature with beautiful animals, and a wonderful, friendly and easygoing staff!!

Legends of Hawaii Luau Dinner Show with Open Bar at Hilton Waikoloa Village
Fun time Luau
Reviewed by: Phillips , 2023/06/08Great evening entertainment, with crowd participation, sing along and laughs. MC ‘Sam’ kept us entertained with jokes, songs and some interesting facts of Hawaii.
The grace of the dances made for a nice calming evening while the fire dances were mesmerising and a must see.
Great food and the free flow of drinks are always a welcome!
A Must if in Kona!!

Spirit of Aloha Waikoloa Sunset Cruise with FREE Cocktails - Hawaii Nautical
Highly recommend!
Reviewed by: Anita, 2023/06/03We had a wonderful time on the sunset cruise. We had a one year old and three year old with us, and the whole family had a great time. The crew was amazing, the boat was clean, and the drinks were strong. My husband usually gets sea sick, but this was the first time he was completely fine. The boat is big and stable. The crew had several drink choices, snacks, and even brought out teriyaki rice bowls for everyone. They let my three year drive the boat, which made his whole trip. We’re definitely going again on this next time we’re on the Big Island.

Legends of Hawaii Luau Dinner Show with Open Bar at Hilton Waikoloa Village
Honestly just okay
Reviewed by: Ari, 2023/06/01The Luau itself it’s in a nice place, check in was quick. We did have to stand around in the hot sun for a bit.
Seating was a nightmare because the sun is literally right in your face and there’s no shade.
The food was bleh. It was cold and not too flavorful.

Naalapa Stables Kohala Horseback Riding Tour on Kahua Ranch
Wonderful staff and awesome views!

Once in a lifetime fun

A wonderful experience

It look place in an enchanting forested area nestled above the coast with panoramic views of the coastline, trees, and green hills around us. Everyone was very kind, and the horses were wonderful. Deluxe Big Island ATV Tour & Waterfall Swim at Umauma Falls
A must do!

The area where this is held is fresh and vibrant and does a good job in showing out the land. Being able to run wild in a ATV is great and a good way to get dirty and ready for a swim at the falls! Early is the best as it can get packed later on and you’ll get the waterfall all to yourself. They provide drinks and snacks for you and the crew is a very cheerful and knowledgeable bunch that give you tips on how to enjoy your time in the island!

Deluxe Kona Manta Ray Night Snorkeling Cruise from Keauhou Bay - Hula Kai
Manta Rays! In YOUR FACE!
Reviewed by: P Burke, 2023/05/15This is a great outfit to take you to see Manta Rays. The boat is a medium size so the group size is much smaller than the big boats. Crew are very professional and knowledgeable in the Manta Ray habits and behaviors. The boat ride to the site is short (<15 min) then it's into the water.
On our trip a single manta showed up after about 5 minutes in the water. As the sky darkened the plankton seemed to multiply and the show really began. The single ray made several passes within inches of our masks. Then another showed up and it was like a graceful dance being performed right beneath you. Another two rays showed up and things really got interesting. What fun watching that ballet!
Afterward, hot soup and warm drinks helped fuel the conversation with the other participants. A most delightful and memorable experience.

Mauna Kea Stargazing Tour Experience with Free Professional Photos - Epic Tours
Amazing experience!

Our guide, James, is truly an expert astronomer and has a fantastic personality. To see first hand some of the astronomical wonders we've heard about and seen in books or online was breathtaking.
I would absolutely recommend the Mauna Kea Stargazing Tour Experience as a must do when on the Big Island. In fact, I would do it again because what you see one night will be different on another night!

Fun free ride!

Not a boring nose to tail ride it was fun to go fast a few times and let the horses do their thing while seeing all the other animals. Definitely bring a jacket (or they have some), close toed shoes and jeans super cold and windy up there. Loved it!

Horses and pizza and chocolate, OH MY!
Reviewed by: Esther & Gino, 2023/05/04We drove from Kona to the farm - about a 2 hour drive - and found it with no problem. The staff was fun, helpful, and very professional. The horses were big so we’re both a bit achy a day later, but we were the only guests so we received wonderful personalized support. The ride through the farm’s woods was beautiful and relatively easy for riding beginners like us. Lots of laughter and chatting along the trail. Then we had pizza, hand made by one of the staff members and it was excellent! They showed us how they make their own chocolate bars from scratch - without fancy machinery - and gave us a bar as a sample. We would go back again (one of us going just for the pizza and chocolate!) and highly recommend this farm and the tour. We liked the chocolate so much we ordered more online to greet us when we arrive home.

本土からの２組のご家族と、10名の参加者に2人のインストラクターさんが引率。慣れた馬達は、いう事を聞かずに、自由に草をはんだり、時には速足になったりで、困る事もありました。おわつてみれば、それもご愛嬌で、家族の団らんの話題になりました。

Kohala Zipline Treetop Canopy Adventure with Optional Waterfall Swim Upgrade
It was a wonderful time. Great hosts and a fun Zipline course near a iconic Hawaiian small town. They prioritized safety first, and then fun!

Sea Quest Kealakekua Bay Snorkel Tour & Rafting Sea Cave Expedition
Worth every penny!

Captain Brendan and crewmember Tuliz were very knowledgeable, competent, and friendly. We happened to see whales at close range along the way, and our guides made the most of it. The snorkeling at Captain Cook is magnificent. A fantastic experience all around!
