What is the seating like in the helicopter?

In the Bell 407, seating is set up like an executive style, similar to a limousine. One passenger sits in the front with the pilot, and five passengers sit in the back. The back seats are arranged with two facing three, allowing passengers to interact easily.

• Seating arrangement: Weight and balance of helicopters is an important part of safety. The seating is assigned based on weight and balance following FAA guidelines.
• Weight Policy:An Extra Seat fee applies to guests weighing 270 lbs and over for weight and balance reasons. Guests buying an extra seat will get a window seat.

The Heliport at Kalaeloa Airport in Kapolei, West Oahu, is ideal for Ko Olina Resorts guests, just a 15-minute drive away. If you're staying in Waikiki, expect a drive of about 50-60 minutes.

• Helicopter tours are one of the most popular things to do in Hawaii. We highly recommend making your reservation in advance, at least 5-10 days prior to your arrival
• The pilots consult weather patterns daily and our team monitors weather conditions constantly. If you are worried about the weather, we recommend booking your flight for early in your Hawaiian vacation so if the weather doesn’t cooperate you can reschedule for another day.
• Children must be at least 12 years old to join this tour.
• All loose items in the cabin must be stored or removed for doors-off flights. This includes additional camera lenses, selfie sticks, water bottles, purses, and more. Hats, scarves, and loose items are not permitted in the aircraft cabin.
• What to wear: Please wear closed-toe shoes; flip-flops and open-back shoes are not permitted. Sunglasses are allowed as our headset will secure them. A light jacket is recommended for windy and chilly conditions in the cabin. If you have long hair, tie it back. Cell phones and cameras used for photos need a wrist or neck strap.
• We recommend removing earrings as they can interfere with the seal of your headset causing discomfort and decreased functionality of the earpieces.
• To prevent altitude-related health issues, guests should not go SCUBA diving less than 24 hours before their flight departure time.
