Nice boat with a terrible crew!

Reviewed by: Justin, 2014/03/01

Went out with 13 year old son on this boat and ended up with multiple reasons to complain.
First let me say that the boat itself is very nice and my son thought it was really cool.

The problems were with the crew. The first thing that happened is we left late because the captain was late getting to the boat. All passengers were standing around for over 30 minutes while we waited for the captain to finally show up. This probably wouldn't have been the end of the world if we would have just stayed out on the water a little later but we actually ended up coming back a little bit early. Overall I paid for a trip and got shorted between 20-40 minutes. Both crew memebers smoked multiple times without even asking the passengers if they minded. With a kid on the boat this seems like it should have happened.
After being out on the water for an hour or so we arrived in an area that had a bunch of other boats. The captain had the deckhand put small rods out and we began catching 1 fish every 10-15 minutes. In an attempt to be polite I let the other 5 passengers catch a fish and chose to go last. After the 5th fish was caught the captain ask the deck hand "how many was that?" and recieved the relpy "that was five, we have one more". The captain then made the decision to leave this area to supposedly look for bigger fish. This was aggravating because I chose to let every one else catch theirs due to the fact the spot was producing consistenly. At the rate it was going it would have taken 10-15 minutes for me to catch my fish. The captains choice to supposedly go look for bigger fish was really just him starting to motor back towards the island to end the trip. We never saw any other fish and arrived back at the dock early.
