Very disappointing

This was basically an expensive Uber ride. In retrospect, we wish we would have saved money and gone with one of the island tours. We first tried to rent the limousine as a special treat for our daughters. None were available, so we opted for the luxury SUV. At the time of booking, we asked if the driver would give us suggestions of where to go, and we were told that we could tell the driver what we wanted to do/see, and they would provide recommendations as well.

On the day of the trip, we were told that we would be picked up in an Escalade, but instead, it was a Suburban, and our driver was late. We made it to Pearl Harbor in time for our reservation, so that went fine. After leaving Pearl Harbor, we asked him about a couple of the places we had seen online to see if he could take us there. He said he didn't know where they were. Then we asked him for recommendations of where to go, and he said he didn't have any suggestions. He was nice and polite, but he did not engage with us at all.

This was not at all what we had expected or hoped for. This trip was highly rated, but upon further review, all the reviews were old. On a positive note, it's nice to be on your own timetable. But we were looking for someone who knows the island well and could provide direction since this was advertised as a tour. It definitely did not meet our expectations, and we would not recommend it.
