I went on a catamaran yacht for the first time with my colleagues on a company trip. The view of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach from offshore was amazing. The wind was blowing, making for a fantastic sailing experience, and we even encountered dolphins and sea turtles, making it the best cruising experience. When I mentioned that I had some sailing experience, the captain kindly let me operate the winch and take the helm, creating unforgettable memories. Thank you to the captain and the crew. My colleagues, who were on a yacht for the first time, were also very satisfied with the cruising experience. If I have the chance again, I definitely want to ride on the Mai Tai.

There were a total of 4 groups (11 people) in the tour, and 2 of them were children. By the way, we were the only Japanese couple, and we couldn't communicate in Japanese at all, but we managed with some words and a translation app.

I wasn't looking at the clock, but the travel time might not have been more than an hour one way... I felt like we had more time for fishing because of that. The waves were high that day, and the boat rocked quite a bit... I took motion sickness medication just in case, so I was fine, but it could have been bad if I hadn't... The two kids who came with us both got sick, and their dad was resting indoors.

We caught a total of 4 fish (it seems like the other guests caught about the same), but the fish were around 20 centimeters and all had to be released, so we couldn't eat them on the boat... It seemed like they were trolling while moving to the fishing spot, but I wonder if everyone would get to enjoy the catch if a big one was caught? Since we couldn't eat the fish on the boat and couldn't communicate in Japanese at all, I rated it 4 stars.

集合時間が近づくにつれて他のお客さんも集まってきましたが、肝心な釣り船の方が来ません。

一緒に行った子供達は2人ともダウンして、お父さんも室内で休んでました。

全部で4匹釣りました(他のお客さんも同じぐらいみたい)が、釣れた魚は20センチ前後で全てリリースされて船上で食べることは出来ませんでした…
釣り場に移動する際にトローリングもしてたみたいですが、大物が釣れればみんなに振る舞うのかな？
釣った魚が船上で食べられなかったのと日本語が全く通じないのがイマイチだったので評価は☆4つにしました。

So we booked this excursion and it was the best way to end our honeymoon . The crew is amazing and so friendly . Me being and island girl and my hubby from the mainland i had to give him the best experience before we left . This did not disappoint . I can only remember Phoenix name but everyone on 5/18 1145 crew were wonderful. The sailing after the snorkeling was a great way to end the adventure . I recommend this highly . MAHALO !

To no fault of their own it rained. It poured really hard. The Captain & First mate were great. They tried to get us out of the pouring rain as best and as fast as they could. The premade drinks were ok. Add some champagne/sparkling wine to them & an ok drink turned into a good drink. The music was great and put all of us soaking wet peeps into a great mood. We were very lucky to be able to see the beautiful sunset in spite of it raining on the first part of our cruise. Everyone was grateful it was dry on our way back to shore. Even though it was rainy & wet it was still worth the cruise. You can't control the weather and the crew handled it well. Thank you for a memorable sunset cocktail cruise.

After the fireworks on Friday, we cruised for a while while admiring the sparkling hotels before heading back. It was a longer cruise than I expected, and I was very satisfied.

The boat departed almost on time. We encountered a pod of dolphins along the way and were able to see them swimming alongside us and jumping. I was surprised and moved because I thought we would only be watching the sunset!

スタッフの方々もとてもフレンドリーで、話しかけてくれたり、写真撮りますか？と声をかけてくれたり素晴らしいサービスでした。
約2時間の体験でしたが、他の乗船客ともずっと一緒なので色々とお話をしたり仲良くなりました。

There were no other Japanese participants, but it felt like an overseas trip, which was nice!

When boarding the boat, you need to take off your sandals and shake off the sand from your feet. You sit in your seat and wait until you reach the snorkeling point. Once the crew is ready, everyone enters the water one by one. They apply anti-fog solution to the snorkeling mask, and after rubbing it in with your hands, you dip it in a bucket of water before putting it on. Just before entering the water, you put on your fins, and off you go into the sea!

You swim a little away from the boat to reach the watching point. As you swim, you see plenty of fish. I was surprised at how many there were! 他の船もたくさんタートルウォッチングに来ているので、自分と同じライフジャケットをしている人を見逃さないようにしたり、「ホロカ〜イ！」という声がけに耳を澄ませておくと、逸れずに安心かもしれません。

過去レビューの写真を見たところ、参加タイミングによりライフジャケットや浮きの形が違うのかも？　私たちが参加した際は、自分で空気を吹き込んで膨らませるライフジャケットでした。しっかりと膨らませることをおすすめします。

I booked this tour on my last trip to Oahu and was really excited about it. The downside is I ended up getting sea sick while I was in the water :( Even though it ended up cutting my experience with the sea turtles short, the crew was so kind and went out of their way to make sure I was feeling better and still had a great time.

I highly recommend this experience and can't wait to come back and try again (with better motion-sickness meds :) )
