If we had departed a little earlier, we would have been able to see the beautiful night view of Honolulu illuminated by the sunset. A departure at 6 PM in December is too late.

On the other hand, we had to wait quite a while in the cold on the boat until the fireworks started, and once they began, they ended in a short time, leaving us feeling unsatisfied.

We had a great experience seeing the fireworks on a Friday evening. The boat ride is about an hour. The firework was about a good 10 minutes (two parts) but you will be not be able to see fireworks sitting in the Waikiki beach area so recommend making a reservation with Ke Kai as they know the spot where the firework takes place. We were expecting the firework to be a little longer but that is okay. Drinks are included in the package. Definitely be coming back! Thank you for making it a great night.

Great experience, the staff on the boat were really personable and experienced.
Reminder to those going on the catamaran, wear shorts or something you don’t mind getting wet, no denim or something that will take. Whole to dry as you have to walk through the water to get on the boat and you have to time the stair climb with the waves.
I would recommend this cruise to anyone. The instructions on where to check in were clear and there was a water tap to rinse our feet off after which was nice. This catamaran was smaller than any others I had been on which was great for easy on and off. The mai tai’s were really good too!! Much better than some of the hotel bars we have had.

The staff's stories were interesting. The boat trip was comfortable and pleasant. The beautiful starry sky and the sight of the Purple Mountain and Taylor Comet made it memorable. The fireworks themselves were a bit lacking compared to Japanese fireworks festivals, but this is not the tour's fault.

The crew are experienced and fun! They cracked jokes and worked with the atmosphere of the guests on board. Music was blasting and the drinks were flowing. They even had a photographer to capture personal or group photos for purchase! It was amazing to see the fireworks from the boat. The fireworks lasted about 5 to 10 minutes, but they were beautiful to watch. The night view was also stunning. The staff brought drinks to us when we called out, making it easy to enjoy. There are restrooms available, but I recommend using the restroom before boarding the boat, as the ones on the boat are not ideal. The meeting point was hard to find just by looking at the paper, and I got a bit lost and flustered. I suggest allowing plenty of time and asking people for directions. I think it would be even more enjoyable if the boat could increase its speed while moving. I imagined a more leisurely experience while taking in the same scenery.

We participated as a couple. Since the explanations were in English, I didn't understand everything, but we were able to enjoy the atmosphere. It was a fun time talking with the Japanese people who were also on board. I was a bit worried about needing the restroom after drinking too many Mai Tais, but there was a restroom on the boat, so I felt relieved. I was a little surprised to find a restroom in such a place, but several people, both men and women, used it.

The night view of Waikiki from the sea was amazing, and the Hilton fireworks were a different experience compared to viewing them from land, making it feel luxurious. At one point, we raised the sails and went sailing, which was quite fast and refreshing.

I've been to Hawaii several times, but this was my first time seeing fireworks, and I booked the Fireworks Cruise. It was wonderful to enjoy the fireworks while sipping drinks, and I didn't experience any seasickness, plus the cruise went all the way to Diamond Head, making for a very enjoyable time. The only downside was that the meeting point was hard to find.

Since I was staying at the Sheraton, I thought it would be easy to get to the designated spot, but I couldn't figure it out even while looking out at the coast. When the boat finally arrived, I assumed it was ours, but when I asked the crew, they told me our boat was docked on the other side of the Sheraton. I realized I had gone to the wrong meeting point just in time to barely make it for departure, and I had to run.

Regarding the meeting point, the explanation of "go past the Sheraton pool and head to the beach" is a bit misleading for those staying at the Sheraton, as it's easier to exit towards the Royal Hawaiian side. I think it would be more helpful to specify the Hale Koa side instead.

The drinks are all-you-can-drink, but there are no restrooms, so I couldn't drink much. After the fireworks at night, the night view of the sea is beautiful, but it got a bit chilly, so it's better to have a jacket. ^_^

Sunset catarmaran sail was a blast! An ocean dance party pre-wedding night 5 July!

Walk onboard barefoot from the beach at Duke's through the gentle waves so put your fancy footwear in your bag or store your flipflops on board with all the others.

This was great value for money with the choice of two free-flowing cocktails throughout the trip.

Crew (skipper and ship's mate) are highly-skilled and friendly.

Perfect view of the Friday night fireworks, dont miss it!

We had a great time on the fireworks cruise. The crew was fun and energetic and made everyone laugh. The drinks were nice and strong and service was fast. Some folks seemed like they pre partied all day and got a little raunchy. Families with young kids should keep this in mind (this is also warned on their website). The view was great and the music was fun.

I participated in the fireworks viewing on Friday. Since it was said that we would get wet while boarding the boat, I went in shorts and sandals. I had seen fireworks before on the Star of Honolulu, but there was nothing obstructing the view this time, and since it was a catamaran yacht, we got close to the fireworks, making it much more impressive. Everyone was drinking Mai Tais, but I requested champagne or sparkling wine. They served us baby-sized bottles, one each. I drank quite a bit and honestly don't remember how I got back to the hotel—definitely a reminder to be careful not to drink too much!

When I went to the reception booth and showed my voucher, they said something like, "Please sign the agreement," and my husband and I each signed. We were told, "Be at that peach over there by 7:15," so we waited on the beach, and soon a boat approached from the sea.

We boarded the same boat that had been used for the previous sunset cruise. After the previous passengers disembarked and the cleaning and preparations were done, we were instructed to take off our shoes and roll our pants up to our knees as we got on board. The staff directed us to our seats, and we stored our shoes and bags in the space behind the chairs. After the staff introduced themselves and shared some safety points about the cruise, we set sail.

I was nervous about how to order drinks, but then they called out, "Who wants a Mai Tai? Raise your hand!" Almost everyone raised their hands. Plastic cups filled with ice and Mai Tais were distributed one after another, and cheers of "Kanpai!" echoed around. After that, we went to the counter to order our favorite drinks.

We moved around to take photos and exchanged shots with different groups. At exactly 8:00, fireworks went off, and there was a loud cheer. The weather was nice, the waves were calm, and the starry sky was beautiful. Along the way, the staff handed out snacks like Doritos.

Both the reception and the boat staff spoke only English, and they spoke quickly. Most of the passengers were foreigners, with probably just one other Japanese group besides us. I was nervous about how it would go, but everyone was a bit tipsy, laughing heartily, and we had a great time.

Even with my limited English, I was able to enjoy myself!

お天気も良く波も穏やかで星空もキレイ

受付も船のスタッフも英語オンリー、しかも早口、乗客もほぼ外国人

The hour went so quickly!
The boat was easy to find, right out the front of Duke's.
The boarding into the boat was relatively easy, there's stairs that come down from the centre of the boat that you climb up. We did get wet leaving the boat but that was okay!

We cruised around to where the fireworks happen and had a great view.
The time went so quickly!

Last year, the waves were calm, but this year the waves were big, and I was anxious about how to board the boat. The catamaran ran up onto the sandy beach to guide the guests. I managed to board safely and got a bench seat on the side deck.

Right away, a Mai Tai was served, and I felt fantastic. We enjoyed the fireworks at Hilton Hawaiian Village and disembarked safely. The weather wasn't great, but the sense of freedom was outstanding; it was a really good activity.

昨年は波が穏やかでしたが、今年は波が大きくて、どうやって乗船するのか、不安でした。カタマラン号は砂浜に乗り上げて、お客さんを案内。無事に乗船し、サイドデッキのベンチ席をゲット。

We boarded with 12 people. The yacht was larger and more beautiful than I expected, and we were able to spend a blissful time (^○^) Masa, who speaks Japanese, and the kind captain Austin prepared plenty of delicious appetizers for us, and I definitely want to use this service again! It was my first time seeing fireworks up so close!!!! Lying on the net at the front of the yacht while feeling the wind was just the best!!!! I already want to go again soon (^○^)

I had completed the check-in early, but when moving from the reception counter to the boat, I ended up towards the back. Once on board, there were no seats available! A few of us had no choice but to stand near the captain as we set sail. It would have been fine during the day, but standing on the deck in the darkness after sunset was unsettling... I thought I would never do that again.

After the fireworks, I was able to secure a vacant seat, and we had a great time singing "Can't Help Falling In Love" together while feeling a bit tipsy. In any case, I recommend not lagging behind when moving to the boat.

チェックインは早く済ませていたのですが、受付カウンターからボートに移動する際に後ろのほうになってしまい、乗船してみると既に座る場所なし！仕方なく数人はキャプテンの近くに立ったまま出航になりました。昼間ならよいのですが、陽が落ちた後の暗闇の中をデッキに立ったままのセイリングは不安定で・・・二度と御免だと思いました。
花火後は空席を確保できたので、いい感じに酔った皆で「Can't Help Falling In Love」を合唱するなど、楽しかったですが。とにかくボートへの移動時に遅れをとらないことをお勧めします。
