Snorkel Tour with Snacks

This outing was not what I expected. Given the description of "turtle canyon" I assumed we were going to some rather exotic location to swim and snorkel with the sea turtles. As it turns out, its just about a mile off of... more Waikiki Beach and it was full of boats with other snorkelers making it quite a crowded experience. Although we did see two turtles (or maybe the same turtle twice), it certainly wasn't the grand adventure it was made out to be. The water was quite murky and the coral was anything but pretty. And on top of all that, we could have booked directly with the tour company for 25% less. That was disappointing.

I will say the crew was very pleasant and the sail after was good.

The crew was super knowledgeable and gave some helpful recommendations for the rest of the trip. We saw at least 5 (!!) sea turtles and a whale

We got the private boat and did the sandbar tour & I can’t recommend this enough! We played at the sandbar, toured the waters and got to see turtles & manta rays! Captain Jeff was helpful, fun & informative, the snacks... more were tasty and the boat was clean and in great condition. Do this tour!! You won’t regret it! It was the highlight of our trip and the best excursion I have ever done in Hawaii! My husband enjoyed it so much he wanted to do it again but we couldn’t book during the rest of our stay because they were sold out!.

My family and I (2 adults, 2 children) had a great time exploring the sandbar and reef area with our captain/tour guide. We learned a lot about the history of the sandbar as well as got to enjoy the water and sandbar ar... moreea. We got lucky with the weather since it rained earlier in the day. The provided snacks and musubis were excellent. We were sad when it ended, but brought back many memories.

We had a great time. The crew was fun and took good care of us.
