This was my second time participating. Unfortunately, there were strong winds and passing rain this time, and I was worried about whether I could enjoy it, but I was able to have fun just like last time. The kind and enjoyable explanations in Japanese also made for a great time. The promised turtles had increased to two, which was delightful. The only disappointment was that there wasn't a low tide sufficient to expose the sandy area again, so I want to thoroughly research the low tide periods and plan my trip for next time.

This was my first time in Hawaii, and it was also my first experience using Veltra, but everything went smoothly, including the transfers! I think we saw about ten sea turtles. Additionally, we were lucky enough to spot a monk seal! It was a bit far away, so we could only see its head, but the staff was quite excited about it, too.

It rained a little, which allowed us to see a beautiful big rainbow, and I was very satisfied! I had researched the tide beforehand, but it was deeper than I expected, so we didn't walk on the sand.

It had been a while since I went snorkeling, and the waves were rough due to the strong winds over the past few days, but the staff guided us, and we were able to enjoy it safely. I would love to participate again if I have the chance!

It takes about 50 minutes by bus from Waikiki, and since it takes time to get on the boat, make sure to use the restroom during that time. However, there are only two restrooms, so you should head there immediately after getting off the bus.

Once you're finally on the boat, it takes about 10 minutes to reach the sandbar. Sea turtles and pufferfish come close to you. Last year, I couldn't go because the reservations were full, so I came back for a revenge trip. The ocean was, of course, beautiful, just as I imagined, with lovely shallow waters. However, what really made it special was the great staff, and I was thrilled to see sea turtles while snorkeling and during other activities. Also, during break time, they lent out floats and boards, and you can even try stand-up paddleboarding (there were only a few available and they were popular, so I couldn't do it...).

I participated because I could swim with wild dolphins. I was concerned about seasickness, but I took motion sickness medication beforehand, so it wasn't an issue.

It takes quite a while to reach the snorkeling point after departure, but the staff kept the atmosphere lively, and I had a very enjoyable time on board.

When the captain signaled, we jumped in. We swam to the watching point under our own power, and below us were schools of dolphins. I was healed by the graceful swimming of the dolphins.

We moved to another point and saw many dolphins, and we also spotted a sea turtle swimming along the seabed. The staff were all cheerful and fun. There are also people who can speak Japanese, so feel free to join without worry.

I was engrossed in snorkeling and playing with the fish, and searching for sea turtles, while enjoying a delicious hamburger for lunch! As a 30yr kamaaina , originally from Scotland, I took a visiting Scot on this voyage.. WHAT a joy!
Knowing the sandbar, the snorkeling and turtle viewing areas as a local...I was SO impressed how this professional bunch put on a safe and VERY authentic trip for all to enjoy the best of a windward bay on Oahu.
I can't imagine how anyone could be disappointed going on such a fun, relaxing, water adventure.
Kudos to the local staff who ALL did an exemplary job.
