My wife and I, who love Hawaii, chose the Star of Honolulu Sunset Dinner Cruise for my mother's first overseas trip and to create memories. The food was satisfying, and above all, the show was enjoyable. My mother seemed to fully enjoy her first overseas trip and her first time in Hawaii.

We enjoyed the sunset while listening to live music and watching hula dancing. We had dinner, and at the end, all the employees and guests were dancing together as the sun set and we docked. I took a two-shot photo with my husband, and I thought I would have to pay for the photo on the way back. I was prepared to pay around $10 to $15, but they said no charge. Oh, thank you! I felt like I really got a great deal. If you go to Hawaii, definitely participate in a dinner cruise!

I had visited Hawaii several times with friends, mainly focusing on surfing and not spending much on dinners. However, this time I traveled with my parents, and since it was a trip they invited me on, I made a reservation for dinner.

That said, I didn't want to spend too much, so I booked a reasonably priced course.

The more expensive courses were on the upper deck of the same boat, and most of the Japanese guests went upstairs.

We were on the lower deck since our course was more affordable, but the surroundings were filled with foreign guests. When the performance started, everyone began to dance, creating a very open and lively atmosphere. I especially enjoyed getting to know an older Australian couple, which was wonderful.

The all-you-can-eat snow crab was also packed with meat and incredibly delicious.

My parents were very satisfied as well.

I used the dinner sunset cruise again this year, just like last year. I guess the fact that I use it every year means it's enjoyable! Several decades ago, when I was on a tuna boat, I docked at this Aloha Tower and explored the area. Now it has become a market street, but back then, the entire market street was filled with warehouses and was quite empty. I remember the security wasn't very good either.

When boarding the cruise, they have a welcome dance at the pier, so I wish I could have taken a little more time to watch it. Of course, once on board, I enjoyed the food and the great performance. Foreigners are really good at having fun in places like this. I also took a cue from them and, even though I couldn't communicate, I cleared my mind and actively enjoyed dancing. The final YMCA was a lot of fun.

My initial impression of the sunset dinner cruise was that the food would be bad and it would just be a boring wait for the sunset, giving me the feeling that once was enough. However, since it was my wife and daughter's first time in Hawaii, I decided to book the Star of Honolulu, which I had never been on myself.

It wasn't a five-star experience, just a star course, but surprisingly the food was good, and the show featuring Hawaiian and hula dancing was authentic. My two-year-old daughter was captivated and even took a photo with one of the dancers.

We participated in the dancing until the end and truly had a wonderful time. Because of that, I only caught a glimpse of the sunset through the window. Still, it was so enjoyable that it more than made up for it.

Next time I visit Hawaii, I definitely want to participate again. Thank you very much to all the staff!

This was not my first cruise, so I honestly didn't find it particularly novel. However, the weather was great, all the staff were friendly, and the dancers were happy to take photos with us, making for a very enjoyable time!

Last summer, my mother suffered a femoral fracture and is currently using a cane to walk. To celebrate her discharge from the hospital, I planned a trip to Hawaii and decided to join a cruise that she loves.

◆ Reservation
Since we planned to rent a wheelchair in Hawaii, I checked the option for wheelchair assistance when making the reservation.

◆ Cruise Day [Going]
As soon as the driver spotted us with the wheelchair near the meeting point, he carried my mother to the bus and prioritized her boarding. Throughout the ride to the ship and until we reached our seats, the cruise staff pushed the wheelchair for us.

ハワイでは車イスをレンタルする予定でしたので、予約時にも車イス参加にチェックしました。

◆クルーズ当日【行き】
集合場所近くで車イスの私たちを見つけるなり、運転手の方がバスまで車イスの母を運び、最優先でバスに乗せてくれました。
送迎バスに乗ってから船の席に座るまで全て、クルーズのメンバが車イスを押してくれました。

◆クルーズ当日【帰り】
船の座席からバスに乗ってホテルで降りるまで、クルーズのメンバが車イスを押してくれました。エレベータも最優先です。
バスに乗る時も“予定していたバスはステップが急でママには危険だから、こっちのバスに乗って”という気遣いもしてくれました。
バスから降りた後も、降りてくるまでの間に車イスを広げて準備していてくれました。

☆本当に、本当に丁寧な対応でした。

○クルーズの内容
美味しい料理（大きなロブスターとステーキなど）と明るくショーで、楽しく過ごすことができました。まだ杖がないと歩行が不安な母でしたが、“今度来る時は、みんなと一緒に踊れるようにリハビリがんばる♪”と、元気になっていました。

Sunset Dinner Cruise, Cocktails, Dancing.. what a fun night! Let me tell you, seeing a sunset in Hawaii is wonderful but seeing it from the ocean, its like a paint brush painted the skies for the evening. Perfect for that special romantic moment with your loved one!

Unfortunately, I did not see the mystical green flash, but we did see several dolphins and the sunset over the water, magical!

Staff was very attentive and came by my dinner table through out the evening to make sure I was taken care of. Everyone on-board participated in the dancing. Thank you so much for a wonderful Sunset Dinner Cruise!
