I went on the Makani Morning Sailing! I was a bit worried because the boarding location was far from my hotel in Waikiki, but I had the hotel call a taxi for me. I tried to convey my destination in broken English, but once I showed the voucher, they understood right away, and I arrived 30 minutes before the scheduled meeting time.
There’s a bus that runs right in front of the meeting place, so I think using the bus could be an interesting option as well.
The sailing was amazing! Three nice guys from the crew (who are foreigners, but we are the foreigners in Hawaii, right? (laughs)) welcomed us. We started with the engine, but after heading out, we turned it off, raised the sails on the mast, and felt the refreshing breeze as we sped across the sea.
By the time we finished our light snacks, we found ourselves offshore, enjoying drinks on deck while taking in the comfortable views of Diamond Head, the hotels in Waikiki, the mountains of Oahu, the blue sky, and the cobalt blue sea.
The yacht was faster than I had imagined; I didn’t know it could go this fast. Since it was a catamaran, there was little rocking, and I could take plenty of memorable photos. Occasionally, flying fish would leap six meters as if racing alongside us. If we were lucky, we might even spot a honu (green sea turtle) or dolphins.
Time flies when you’re having fun, and before I knew it, it was time to return to port. I definitely want to go again the next time I visit Hawaii.
I believe tours like this are offered by Alan in other places besides Hawaii, so I’d like to create opportunities to experience them elsewhere as well.
I had a great time enjoying the sea in a way that you can’t experience at the beach.

マカニ号モーニングセーリング！
乗船場所がワイキキのホテルから離れていたので、ちょっと心配でしたが、ホテルでタクシーを呼んでもらい、片言の英語で行き先を伝えようとしたのですが、バウチャーを見せたら一発で理解してもらえ、予定の集合時間の30分前についてしまいました。
集合場所のすぐ前の道をＴＨＥ バス が通っているので、バスを利用するのも面白いかと思います。
セーリングは最高でした、キャプテン以下ナイスガイの外人（ハワイでは我々ですが（笑））三人のクルーが出迎えてくれました。
出航時はエンジンですが、沖に出た後は、エンジンをとめ、マストに帆を張り気持ちいい風を受けて海の上を疾走していきました。
軽食を食べ終わった頃にはいつの間にか沖で、デッキで風を受けながらドリンク片手に、ダイアモンドヘッドとワイキキのホテル、オアフの山々と青い空、そしてコバルトブルーの海を眺めながらの快適な時間でした。
ヨットは想像していた以上に速く、こんなに早く走るとは知りませんでした、船は、双胴船なのでゆれも少なく、記念写真もバシバシ撮れました。
時々、飛魚が競争するように五、六メートルも飛んでいったりしていました。
運がいいとホヌ（アオウミガメ）やイルカにもあえそうな感じでした。
楽しい時間はすぐ済んでしまうので、いつの間にやら帰港の時間になってしまっていましたが、またハワイに行った時は是非乗りたいです。
このようなツアーはアランでハワイ以外のほかの場所でも扱っていると思うので、機会を作ってほかでも体験してみたいです。
ビーチでは味わえない楽しい海での過ごし方ができとても楽しかったです。

This time, I attended with a friend. Since we were seated with other people, it felt awkward, and we couldn't enjoy it much. The food and the performances on stage were good, though... For social people, it might be fine, but for those who are not, I think it's better to request a couple's seat. Families might not have to worry about this as the chances of being seated with others are lower due to the number of people.
今回、友達と二人で参加しました。席がほかの方との相席だったので気まずく、あまり楽しめませんでした。お料理やステージでの演奏・ショーなどそのほかは良かったのですが・・・。
社交的な方はいいかもしれませんが、そうでない方はカップル席を希望された方がいいと思います。家族連れの方は、人数の加減で相席になる確率は低いと思うのでそんな心配はいらないかと思います。

I participated in the campaign price on August 27. In the early morning, I took a taxi (including tip $13) from the hotel to the meeting point at the dock. The Makani was a lot bigger and cleaner than I imagined, and although I was worried about seasickness, I hardly felt any rocking and enjoyed a comfortable sailing experience. Breakfast (pastries, cut fruits, and drinks) was included, so it's okay to skip breakfast before going. The captain speaks Japanese, so even those who are not good at English will be fine! The weather was nice that day, and since dolphins were spotted the day before, as the staff explained, we were lucky to discover a pod of dolphins. The sea was also very clear, so we could see fish as well. Lying on the boat and gazing at the blue sky and sea, I felt very relaxed and enjoyed it. I had previously participated in a dolphin watching tour, but I preferred this tour as it was more laid-back. I think families with small children can enjoy it as well. I was able to join a very worthwhile tour, and it became a wonderful memory of Hawaii!
8月27日にキャンペーン価格で参加しました。早朝、ホテルから集合場所の船着場までタクシー（チップ込 13＄）で行きました。マカニ号は想像以上にキレイで大きな船で、乗り物酔いが心配でしたが殆ど揺れを感じる事もなく、快適なセーリングを楽しめました。セーリングには朝食（ペストリー＆カットフルーツ＆飲み物）がついており、朝食を抜いていってもＯＫです。また船長は日本語が出来ますので、英語の苦手な方でも大丈夫！当日はお天気も良く、前日もイルカが見えたので、今日も見えるかもと言うスタッフの説明通り、イルカの群れを発見する事ができラッキーでした。また透明度の高い海なので、お魚も見る事が出来ました。青い空と海を船に寝そべって眺め、とってもゆったりとした気分で楽しめました。以前、イルカウオッチングにも参加した事があるのですが、こちらのツアーの方がのんびりとしていて、私は気に入りました。小さなお子さんがいるファミリーでも十分に楽しめると思います。とってもお得なツアーに参加する事ができ、ハワイの良い思いでになりました♪

The most moving experience was seeing dolphins up close. As soon as we spotted a pod of dolphins, the boat got closer to them. The dolphins were swimming right under the boat, almost like they were playing tag with us.
Additionally, when we threw fish food into the water, fish appeared from nowhere to observe us near the surface. I heard that sometimes you can see whales too, but we didn't encounter any on this day.
The course took us to the east side of Diamond Head and back, and the view of Waikiki from the ocean side was incredibly beautiful.
The sunlight is extremely strong, so it's best to take proper sun protection measures.
１番の感動はイルカがすぐ近くで見れたこと。イルカの群れを発見するとすぐに船を近づけてくれてました。船のすぐ下をイルカが泳いでいて、まるで船と追いかけっこしているようでした。
他にも途中で渡された魚の餌をまくと、どこからともなく魚たちが水面近くまで現れて観察することができました。時々クジラも見れるらしいのですが、この日は遭遇できず。
ダイヤモンドヘッドの東側まで行ってもどってくるというコースで、海側から見るワイキキの様子もすごくきれいでした。
日差しがめちゃくちゃ強いので日焼け対策はしっかりしたほうが良いです。

I am 11 years old. On August 19, I participated with my family of seven. The fruit in the hors d'oeuvres was sweet and delicious. Our table was right in front of the stage, and I got to play the ukulele while my sister wore the hat that the dancer had on, allowing us to see the show up close. I also tried a non-alcoholic Blue Hawaii for the first time. It was delicious. At the end, we all stood up, connected, and danced together. I want to do it again with everyone. The course was Three Star.

I participated in the tour on August 4th. At first, I was a bit anxious about whether I would make it to Kealoha Bay safely. Upon arriving at Kealoha Bay, I found the check-in booth for Makani at the far end among the many tour booths, and I quickly started the check-in process and boarded the boat! The boat was larger and cleaner than I expected, and I was very satisfied. Additionally, the service included drinks, fruits, and bread, which was very generous. Once on board, a captain who spoke Japanese well explained the precautions for the voyage, and after that, we set sail! We participated as a family of four. It was fast! Beautiful! Fun!! I regret not wearing a swimsuit since we got quite wet... My son was completely drenched, but he didn't seem to care at all and looked like he was having a great time! The view of Honolulu from the boat was also amazing... It would have been even better if we could have seen dolphins and turtles—am I being too greedy?? Thank you so much to everyone at Alan for such a fun and affordable experience! We're going to Hawaii again next year, so please plan another wonderful event like this one! I'm looking forward to it!!

I was drawn in by the campaign price and signed up on a whim, but I was pleasantly surprised in a good way. The cost performance was outstanding.
On the day of the event, I parked the rental car at the Ala Moana Beach Park parking lot and participated.
Onboard, the crew (a dapper captain, a friendly strong skipper, and a beautiful attendant) always greeted us with smiles, and I truly had a wonderful time.
I had ridden on a three-person catamaran during my student days, but this time I was able to experience the thrill of a more authentic catamaran, which was satisfying! My two children were also thrilled. Above all, it was a rare experience to watch the surfers riding in Waikiki from behind. I could really feel, "Wow! I’m definitely out here in Waikiki." I highly recommend this to anyone considering it in the future. Be sure to wear your swimsuit when boarding! The more splashes you get, the more satisfaction you'll feel.

It was the best cruise. The ship was very clean and had two restrooms. I participated with my 10-year-old and 2-year-old children, and while the 2-year-old was free, I needed to inform the cruise organizers about having a 2-year-old. We were able to board without any issues, but they mentioned it in English. It seems to be related to maritime safety. The cruise lasted about two hours. We traveled by motor to a certain point and then sailed from there. My 10-year-old lay on the net and dozed off because it felt so good. Since the net gets quite wet, it's better to wear a swimsuit. There were quite a few people in swimsuits at that time, and of course, my children wore theirs too. Only four people can be on the net at a time, so please be aware of that. There are two spots, so a total of eight people can be on the net. When I participated, there seemed to be about 15 people on the cruise. The view of Diamond Head and Waikiki from the sea was amazing. Unfortunately, we couldn't see them at that time, but I've heard you can also see dolphins and sea turtles. The meal was a light snack. It might be better to have a little breakfast before going. The pineapple juice was very delicious. I think it's definitely worth the $35 for the cruise.
最高のクルーズでした。船はとてもきれいでトイレも２つついていました。私は10歳と2歳の子供と参加したのですが、2歳の子供は無料なのですが、2歳の子供がいることだけはこのクルーズの主催者に言っておく必要があったみたいです。問題なく乗らせていただきましたが、そのようなことを英語で言っていました。海上保安の関係みたいです。クルーズは約2時間ほどだと思います。ある場所まではモーターで行ってそこからは帆をあげて走って行きました。10歳の子供は網の上で寝転び、あまりの気持ちよさにうとうとしていました。網の上は水がかなりかかりますので、水着を着たほうがいいでしょう。その時も水着の人がわりといました。もちろん私の子供たちも水着を着ました。網の上には4人までしか乗ることができないので注意してください。2箇所ありますので8人までです。私が参加したときは約15人くらいこのクルーズに参加していたように思います。海から見るダイヤモンドヘッドやワイキキは最高でした。私のときはあいにく見れませんでしたが、いるかや海がめも見れるそうです。食事は軽食でした。朝ごはんは少し食べてから行ったほうがいいかもしれません。パイナップルジュースが大変おいしかったです。35ドル払っても十分もとのとれるクルーズだと思います。

I was worried about the lack of shuttle service, but I was able to walk from Waikiki. It took a little over an hour since I had children with me. I think it would take about 30 minutes for adults walking briskly. It felt great to take a morning stroll. On the way back, I was waiting for the Duty Free shuttle bus at the Ala Moana Hotel, but the bus took a while to arrive. However, if you're going to Duty Free, a taxi is free. So, I recommend that anyone participating in this cruise also visit Duty Free. They can call a taxi for you at the Ala Moana Hotel. Don't forget your shopping card or return flight ticket.
Now, about the cruise, it was amazing. Lying on the net (with the sea below) and getting splashed by the waves felt really good! It was about a two-hour cruise. It rocked quite a bit, but we took motion sickness medication, so we were comfortable. There were various types of bread and fruit for snacks. Since we didn't eat breakfast, we tried a lot of different things, but the other foreigners on board seemed to enjoy the cruise more than the food. Of course, drinks were free (soda was $2, and alcohol was around $5). The pineapple juice was delicious. I think it's definitely worth the $35 for such a satisfying cruise.
送迎がないということが心配だったのですが、ワイキキからでも歩けました。子供もいたので約1時間ちょっと時間がかかりました。大人が歩けば早歩きで30分くらいかなと思います。朝の散歩がてら気分はとてもよかったです。帰りはDuty Freeのシャトルバスに乗ろうとアラモアナホテルで待っていたのですが、なかなかバスは来ませんでした。でもDuty Freeに行くならタクシーがただでした。なのでこのクルーズに参加する人はついでにDuty Freeに行くことをお勧めします。アラモアナホテルでタクシーを呼んでくれます。ショッピングカードまたは帰りの航空券をお忘れなく。さてクルーズですが、最高でした。特に網の上で寝転び、（下は海）波しぶきをあびるのは本当に気持ちいい！約2時間のクルーズでした。結構ゆれましたが私たちは乗り物酔いを飲んでいったので快適に過ごせました。スナックはいろいろな種類のパンとフルーツがありました。私たちは朝食も食べずに行ったので、いろいろ食べましたが、ほかに乗っていた外国人はみな食べることよりもクルーズを楽しんでいました。もちろん飲み物のただでした。（炭酸ジュースは2ドル、酒は5ドル？かかります。）パイナップルジュースがおいしかったです。35ドルだしても十分満足いけるクルーズだと思います。

It was far faster than I imagined, and both adults and kids were all smiles!
It was a refreshing two hours, swaying “gwan gwan” over the incredibly blue sea of Hawaii. The captain seemed to have experience living in Japan and spoke Japanese well, so we enjoyed the cruise without any issues! I’m really glad I signed up, especially since it was at a promotional price. My kids (a 9-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl) are still saying they want to ride again!

I participated in a members-only experience tour. Since light snacks were included, I joined without breakfast. There were various types of bread, fruits, and unlimited drinks (though there were some limits on quantity). I was satisfied and when I went out to the deck, the view was amazing!!! The breeze felt incredibly refreshing. In front of the deck, when the speed picks up, you can get splashed with water, making it feel like a thrilling water roller coaster, which was so much fun. The sensation above the net was unlike anything I had experienced before. Also, sitting in the chairs at the back of the boat while enjoying the view was great. For those who want to enjoy a leisurely cruise, I recommend sitting at the back. After getting off the boat, I felt quite refreshed on my way back. If I go to Hawaii again, I will participate again.
By the way, for the morning cruise, I took a taxi from a hotel near the Kamehameha Statue at Waikiki Beach, and it cost about $12. It was convenient since it was about a 10-minute walk to Ala Moana, so I could stop by on the way back. We were the only participants from Japan, but the captain spoke Japanese, so I felt安心して参加できました.
会員限定体験参加ツアーに参加しました。軽食が含まれていたので、朝食抜きで参加しました。数種類のパンとフルーツ、ドリンクが食べ放題・飲み放題(数に限りはありますが）でした。お腹も満たされデッキに出ると景色が最高！！！風がすご~く気持ち良かった。デッキの前は、スピードに乗ると水しぶきがかかることもあり、恐怖のない水上ジェットコースターみたいでとっても楽しい。ネットも上は、今までにない感覚。また、船の後ろの椅子に座りながら眺める景色も良かった。ゆったりしたクルージングを楽しみたい方には、後ろがお勧め。船を下りた後は、かなり爽快な気分で帰れました。ＨＡＷＡＩＩ行ったら、また参加します。
ちなみに、モーニングクルーズのため集合場所には、タクシーでワイキキビーチカハモナク像近くのホテルから乗り＄１２くらいでした。アラモアナまでは、徒歩１０分くらいなので帰りに寄れて便利でした。日本の参加者は、私達だけしたが、キャプテンが日本語を話せる方でしたので安心して参加できました。

I have participated in large ship cruises before, but this cruise was incredibly pleasant, allowing me to truly feel the Hawaiian sea, and it was the best. I spent almost the entire two-hour cruise at the front of the ship, enjoying delicious beer. The staff later went trolling. Occasionally, they catch tuna or mahi-mahi. Although nothing was caught that day, I was able to see flying fish skimming just above the surface of the water. This time, I was able to participate at a very low price due to a campaign, but I believe it would be worth it even at the regular price.

On the last night of our trip to Hawaii, we wrapped up our adventure with a dinner cruise.
The Star of Honolulu had hardly any rocking, so even I, who is prone to motion sickness, was fine. Once, I had opted for a different tour (the high-speed boat) because it was cheaper, and my whole family ended up feeling unwell and spent the entire time on the deck in the wind without eating anything. So this time, I chose the Star of Honolulu again.
We participated in the Three Star cruise. It was mostly Japanese people on board, creating a bit of a subdued atmosphere, but we enjoyed ourselves from start to finish. At one point, we envied the newlyweds during their slow dance and kiss, reminiscing, "We had times like that too~~. How nice~." We also took commemorative photos with the dancers, which was really fun.
As the cruise went on, everyone started to join in and the atmosphere became lively. It was impressive how the staff managed to energize a group of Japanese people who can be hard to get excited. However, since we were abroad, I wished we could have interacted more with the foreigners.
The food was also very delicious. Our table staff chatted with us in broken Japanese, full of humor, and they made sure the lobster was easy to eat. When I found the cocktail I ordered to be quite strong and difficult to drink, they kindly switched it for a lighter one.
As we watched the beautiful sunset sinking into the Pacific Ocean, we whispered, "We don't want to go back to Japan~." This tour truly was the perfect finale to our trip to Hawaii.
ハワイ旅行最後の夜はディナークルーズで・・・と言うことで、友人３人で楽しんだハワイ旅行もやはりこれで締めました。
スターオブホノルルは揺れもほとんどなく、乗り物酔いに弱い私でも大丈夫です。一度、お値段が安かったのでつい他のツアー（高速船の方）に浮気してしまい、前菜の途中から家族全員ダウンし、何も食べずずっとデッキで風に当たっていたことがあったため、今回はまたスターオブホノルルにしました。
スリースターに参加しました。日本人ばかりでちょっとノリの悪い雰囲気でしたが、私たちは最初から最後までノリノリで楽しみました。途中、新婚さんのチークダンスやキッスを「あんな時もあったわね~~。いいね~。」なんて羨ましがったり、ダンサーの方々と記念撮影してもらったり・・・とほんと楽しかったです。
途中からはみなさんも乗ってきて、盛り上がりました。なかなか盛り上がりにくい日本人をあそこまで盛り上げるなんてスタッフの方のテクニックは素晴らしいです。ただ、せっかく海外に来たのだから外国人の方とも交流したかったですね。
食事も大変おいしかったです。テーブル担当のスタッフが片言の日本語でユーモアたっぷりにおしゃべりしてくれて、ロブスターもちゃんと食べやすいように身を出してくださいました。頼んだカクテルが大変きつく、飲みにくそうにしているとアルコールの少ない物に替えてくださいました。
太平洋に沈んでいく美しい夕日を見ながら、「日本に帰りたくないね~」とつぶやく私たちでした。
やっぱりハワイ旅行のフィナーレはこのツアーでしょう。

Yachts can really pick up speed, can't they? As a first-timer, I was pleasantly surprised. Along the way, I spotted a few dolphins, and flying fish were jumping around constantly. Although there was no shuttle service included, the check-in location was easy to find, which was great. Light snacks were provided, and it was a good decision to participate without having breakfast. On the deck, the splashes were quite intense, so it would have been better to wear clothes that could get wet. This was an activity I definitely want to participate in again next time.

When you think of Hawaii, you might expect a lot of optional tours. Our family planned to enjoy Hawaii this time without any extras. We decided to participate in a tour after seeing some information about ALAN, mainly because it was affordable and included a simple breakfast that you could enjoy by the sea. Since we rented a car, we parked for free right in front of the Ward Warehouse and headed to the cruiser. Hoping there wouldn't be too many Japanese people, we boarded the boat and found that our family was the only one. Although there were some waves at the time, the large yacht was very stable. The staff was friendly, and we enjoyed the pleasant morning breeze while taking in views of Waikiki and Diamond Head with coffee in hand, alongside a captain who shared jokes in Japanese. The two hours spent on the tour were incredibly meaningful. I've visited Hawaii several times, but this tour was exceptional. Since I had no expectations at all,

On August 4th, I participated with my mother. The weather was unfortunately rainy with strong winds that day... However, there was a surprise! The weather cleared up, and we were able to see the sunset. It was beautiful, really.
I'm not great on boats, but I hardly noticed the rocking, enjoyed a delicious meal (the lobster was great!), and thoroughly enjoyed the show. We had a really fun time (we even danced the YMCA together at the end, which was a blast).
It was a three-star experience, but there was no dress code, so casual attire was perfectly fine. It was relaxed and easy to enjoy the dinner cruise! I highly recommend it for families as well.
The crew was well-trained, friendly, and helpful. The captain was also happy to take photos with us.
If you're not confident in your English, there's no need to worry at all. When you arrive in Hawaii, just call Alan. The guidance is in Japanese (and it's a bit funny too!). Just call as per the voucher instructions.
I definitely recommend participating. I will join again next time!
*Although seating is shared, enjoying the "ichigo ichie" (a once-in-a-lifetime encounter) is part of the fun of traveling, don't you think?
８月４日に、母娘２人で参加しました。
当日は風が強く、天気はあいにくの小雨模様…。しかし、サプライズが！なんと、天気が良くなり、サンセットが見れたのです。綺麗でしたよ。ホントに。
船に弱い私ですが、揺れもほとんど気にならず、食事もしっかりいただき（ロブスター、美味しかったよ！）、ショーも堪能し、本当に楽しい時間を過ごしました。（最後に全員でＹＭＣＡを踊り、大フィーバー）
３スターへの参加でしたが、ドレスコードも無くカジュアルな服装でＯＫ。堅苦しく無く、気軽にディナークルーズを楽しめますよ！ファミリーにもおススメ。
クルーもきちんと教育されていて、フレンドリーで親切。キャプテンも気軽に写真撮影に応じてくれますよ。
英語に自信がない方、まったく心配はいりません。ハワイ到着時、アランちゃんにＴＥＬをするだけ。日本語案内だし。（ちょっぴりオモシロイ、ガイダンスだよ！）
バウチャー通りにＴＥＬをすればいいのです。
ぜひ、参加することをおススメします。
次回、行くときも参加しま~す！

I participated in a members-only experience tour. Since light snacks were included, I joined without breakfast. There were several types of bread and fruits available. My family was the only Japanese participants, and there were no explanations in Japanese, but it wasn't a problem. The water splashes were quite intense, so it's best to be prepared to get wet if you're at the front of the deck. The kids were lying on the net in the center of the deck, enjoying the feeling of a roller coaster and were very happy. We saw a lot of flying fish, and we also spotted a few dolphins. It was a very satisfying activity.

I participated with my child (elementary school student). The comments included many words like "fun" and "getting dizzy," which made me a bit anxious about boarding, but it was nothing like that! The boat, splashing water and moving at an incredible speed, made my child very happy. For those who haven't experienced it yet, I highly recommend trying it out. It's worth the money. The fruits and pastries provided were also delicious, and we had a great time. The two hours flew by. I would love to do it again.

I signed up for Alan's campaign and participated in the sunset cruising on July 31. The Makani was a much more beautiful and lovely ship than I had imagined. Additionally, there were only ten guests on board, including my family of four, so the kids ran around excitedly and enjoyed a lot of delicious food at a price of just $7.77, which felt like a steal for such a wonderful time. Unfortunately, there were too many clouds, so we couldn't see the sunset, but it felt great to be on the bow of the yacht, feeling the wind as we sped along. I highly recommend that everyone give it a try. You can experience a different kind of pleasure compared to the Star of Honolulu or the Navatek dinner cruises.

On August 2nd, six of us (three generations) participated. We were picked up at the hotel at 4:30 PM and given a small sticker to place on our chests, which had the bus number for our return. At that moment, I never imagined how useful this sticker would be after the cruise.
We departed from the hotel and arrived in just a little over 30 minutes. In front of us was a large, pristine white ship, and I was excited at the thought of cruising on it even before we set sail.
Upon boarding, we were welcomed with music and dancers, and once seated, we toasted with champagne (which was non-alcoholic). We enjoyed appetizers of cheese and crackers, followed by a platter of fresh vegetables, and then it was finally time for a whole lobster, served with melted butter.
There was a jazz performance on stage, which felt very pleasant. After the lobster, we had steak, and finally dessert and coffee. Drink tickets allowed those who prefer non-alcoholic options to order tropical cocktails, so everyone could enjoy their drinks without worry.
I was a bit taken aback by the final YMCA performance, but the sunset during the cruise and the view of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head from the sea created wonderful memories. I highly recommend this experience for first-time travelers to Hawaii.

最後のＹＭＣＡにはちょっぴり閉口しましたが、クルーズ中のサンセットや、ワイキキビーチとダイヤモンドヘッドを沖から見ることができ、とてもよい思ひ出になりました。
初めてのハワイ旅行の方には、是非おすすめします。

Two adults participated for the campaign price of $7.77 for a group of five across three generations. 海面ではトビウオの集団にも出会えたし、普段なかなか出来ない経験が出来て良かった思います。波しぶきを浴びるかも知れないのでタオルは持って行ったほうがよいですよ。

I participated in a catamaran cruising on July 30. Since I've been to Hawaii many times, I decided to try something I had never done before and signed up for the cruising. It departed from Kewalo Basin, right next to Ala Moana Beach, which was convenient and close to Waikiki. The captain was a very gentlemanly person who spoke Japanese well, and the crew was incredibly stylish and friendly. The weather was perfect, with a bright blue sky and sea, making for a very pleasant cruising experience. Since it started at 10 AM, I had a light breakfast before going, but there were delicious Danish pastries, fruits, and drinks on board, so it would have been fine to go without breakfast. I heard that on the previous evening's cruise, they saw dolphins, so if the timing is right, you might encounter dolphins as well. I definitely want to participate in the sunset cruising next year.
7月30日にカタマランクルージングに参加してきました。ハワイは何度も行っているので今回は今までしたことのないことをしようとクルージングに申し込みました。アラモアナビーチのすぐ隣のケワロ湾から出港なのでワイキキからも近く便利でした。キャプテンは日本語の上手なとても紳士的な方でしたし、クルーもモデル張りに格好良くて皆さんとても親切でした。お天気も最高で空も海も真っ青で、とっても気持ち良いクルージングが出来ました。朝10時からでしたので軽く朝食をとってから行ったのですが船内でおいしいデニッシュパンと果物そして飲み物がありましたので朝食をとらずに行ってもＯＫでした。前の日の夕方のクルージングではイルカも見れたとの話を聞いたのでタイミングが良ければイルカにも遭遇できるみたいです。来年は是非サンセットクルージングに参加してみたいです。

I parked my car in the free parking space at Ala Moana Park Drive (Ala Moana Beach Park) to participate in the morning sailing. Since it was early in the morning, it's a good idea for those using rental cars to park here. There are paid parking spaces at Kewalo Basin, but it was convenient to have free parking within walking distance.
I was surprised by how well-maintained and large the catamaran was. I could only understand about half of the initial explanation, which was all in English, but they later provided explanations in Japanese as well.
For breakfast, there was a wide variety of bread and plenty of fruit. Juice was unlimited, but please note that carbonated drinks are charged extra. We were able to see dolphins for a long time, making it an activity that could easily be marketed as dolphin watching (it seems there’s a good chance of seeing dolphins).
From the sea, I enjoyed the beautiful blue ocean and the view of Waikiki. Please experience the sight of Diamond Head and the Waikiki hotels gradually getting closer as they appeared small from the ocean. This time, sailing on a catamaran allowed me to enjoy a refreshing feeling of moving with the wind, unlike on a large ship.
If I have the chance to come to Hawaii again, I would definitely like to participate again.
モーニングセーリングに参加するためALA MOANA PARK DR.（アラモアナ・ビーチパーク）にある無料の駐車スペースに車を停めました。
朝早いので、レンタカーを利用される方はここに止めるといいです。
ケワロ湾港内にも有料駐車スペースはありますが、無料で歩ける範囲でしたので便利です。
カタマランに乗り、まずはきれいに手入れされている事と大きい事に驚きました。
最初の説明は全て英語で半分ぐらいしか理解できませんでしたが、あとから日本語でも説明していただきました。

今回はカタマランヨットで、大きな船とは違い風とともに進む爽快な感じを味わう事ができました。
またハワイに来ることがあれば是非また参加したいと思いました。

I participated in the campaign morning cruise. I was surprised by the price, which included a meal of bread, fruit, and juice.
There were several types of bread available, and while the variety was rich, there were only a few of each type, so it's better to choose your favorite bread early.
Sailing in high waves felt like a roller coaster, and some people might get seasick. (My daughter started to feel sick too, but when I had her sit near the bow and enjoy the scenery, the fun made her forget about the seasickness...) The wind was strong, and one participant's sandals were blown away and fell into the sea, so please do not leave your belongings outside. The bow area gets quite wet, so be careful with your clothing and belongings.
We were able to see dolphins multiple times, and while a few people spotted whales, we didn't notice them. I heard that sea turtles can also be seen, but we didn't see any this time.
The captain spoke Japanese very well, which made me feel at ease.
I was disappointed that there was no snorkeling available, as I thought there would be, but I believe it would have been perfect if snorkeling had been an option.

イルカは何度も見ることができましたが、鯨は数人は見れたようですが私達は気付きませんでした。海亀も見れるらしいのですが、今回は見れなかったです。
キャプテンは日本語がとても上手で安心して参加できました。
シュノーケルがあると思っていたのになかったのは残念でしたが、シュノーケルができたらパーフェクトだと思いました。

The Makani was new and well-maintained. Sailing out of Kailua Bay towards Diamond Head was truly exciting for our family, who were experiencing a yacht for the first time. The kids were thrilled at the front of the yacht. The blue sea and sky, along with the friendly staff, were fantastic! We definitely want to participate again on our next trip to Hawaii.

The Makani was very beautiful and the restrooms were clean. We were the only Japanese family, but there were staff members who understood Japanese, so we didn't feel inconvenienced. When the speed picked up, it felt like an amusement park ride! The kids enjoyed it too.
On the deck, you get splashed with water, so I think it's best to participate in swimwear.
I definitely want to join again when I visit Hawaii.

- First, I had quite a bit of trouble finding the dock. I think it's better to have some time to spare.
- The boat was clean. The kids enjoyed it too. The crew only spoke English, but I don't think English is particularly necessary.
- Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

This was our first family trip with a large group, a total of 11 people. We wanted to do something enjoyable and memorable for everyone, both adults and children, which is why we signed up. In Japan, we don't often have the opportunity to go on a boat, but boarding in Hawaii with its blue skies and blue seas always creates wonderful memories. I have been on a boat several times, but my family, who visited Hawaii for the first time, was extremely happy. The cruise was packed with activities, and we enjoyed cultural experiences that everyone could participate in, regardless of age. Additionally, we were lucky enough to encounter a pod of dolphins while feeding the fish! It was a fortunate experience. The boat sways more than expected, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who are prone to motion sickness, but the staff provided motion sickness medication before departure and offered juice (probably ginger ale?) to those who looked unwell, showing great attention to detail, which was reassuring. Taking commemorative photos with Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head in the background while out in the waters of Hawaii was also a wonderful memory.
今回初めての大人数での家族旅行、総勢11人での旅行でした。家族全員、大人も子供も楽しめるような、また思い出になるようなことをしたいという思いから申し込みました。日本ではなかなか船に乗る機会はありませんが、青い空青い海のハワイでの乗船は毎回良い思い出になります。自分自身は何度か乗船したことはありますが、今回初めてハワイに来た家族は大変喜んでおりました。クルーズも内容盛りだくさんで、年齢に関係なく参加できるカルチャーも楽しめました。また、運が良いことに魚の餌付けの最中にイルカの群れにも遭遇！！出来てラッキーでした。船が意外にゆれるので乗り物酔いをしやすい人はあまりお勧めできませんが、出航前にスタッフが乗り物酔いの薬を配ってくれたり、気分が悪そうにしていると酔い止めにとジュース（多分ジンジャーエール？）を配ってくれるなど、細かいところにも気遣ってくれるので安心です。ハワイ沖に出てワイキキビーチやダイヤモンドヘッドをバックに記念撮影っていうのも大変記念になりました。
