I participated on November 3rd. It took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to walk from the zoo to the location. There were a total of 5 groups with 13 participants that day. One family was present, and there was also one elderly person. We were the only Japanese, but it didn’t feel out of place at all, and we thoroughly enjoyed 2 hours of sailing. We saw a lot of dolphins. The view of Waikiki from the sea was very beautiful. However, for those who are prone to seasickness, it might be better not to eat too much. It was the best cruising experience.
11月3日に参加しました。動物園の所から歩く事、約1時間20分で到着しました。
当日の参加者は計5組13人。家族連れも一組あり お年寄りも一人参加しておられました。日本人は私達だけでしたが、べつに違和感もなく 2時間セーリングを堪能しました。イルカもたくさん見ましたよ。海から見る ワイキキの街はとってもきれいでした。但し 船酔いし易い人は あまり食べない方がいいかもしれませんね。

I participated on October 18th. The weather was cloudy but sunny, and I was able to fully enjoy the sunset. The light of the sunset reflected on the clouds, creating a very magical view. Unfortunately, the wind was weak, so we cruised using only the engine instead of sailing, but I still had a great time. The captain mentioned that it would have been more exciting with wind. The boat had carbon parts used throughout, including the steering, and it was equipped with GPS navigation for autopilot. It was a new boat, less than a year old, and very clean. Each person received two drink tickets, and there were three types of food (fried spring rolls, salad, and vegetable or chicken wraps) along with cookies, all of which were tasty. After leaving the harbor, we gradually transitioned from sunset to twilight, and afterward, we enjoyed the night view of Waikiki from the sea. The staff were cheerful and friendly, well-versed in handling seasickness, and the captain had experience staying in Japan, speaking Japanese well. It was a homely cruising experience, feeling like I was on a friend's boat, quite different from cruising on a large ship.
10/18に参加しました。コンディションとしては雲はありましたが晴れていて、夕日は十分に堪能出来ました。夕日の光が雲に写りとても幻想的な景色を楽しめました。残念ながら風が弱くセイリングではなく、エンジンのみでのクルージングでしたが十分に楽しめました。船長さんは、風があればもっとエキサイティングだよと言ってましたが。船は、舵をはじめとしていたるところにカーボンパーツを使用してあり、GPSナビでの自動操縦が出来たり、船自体出来てから１年たってなくてとても清潔感ある新しい船でした。ドリンクはチケットが一人二枚までもらえて、フードは３種類（揚げ春巻き、サラダ、野菜やチキンの巻物）とクッキーがあって味も良かったです。港を出て、徐々に夕焼けからサンセットをむかえ、その後は海からのワイキキの夜景も楽しめます。スタッフの方々も、明るく気さくで船酔いの対処も慣れていて、船長さんは日本滞在暦もある方で、日本語も上手、大きな船のクルージングとは一味違った、一言で言えば、知人の船に乗せてもらったような感覚のアットホームなクルージングでした。

I participated on October 18. As mentioned in my previous post, the captain explained everything in Japanese, so I didn't have to worry about the language and felt at ease participating. On that day, I was impressed by the beautiful sunset. We headed to the location by city bus from Waikiki. The guide mentioned it was a 10-minute walk from Ala Moana Shopping Center, but we thought that was unrealistic, so we got off near Ward Center instead.

Recently, I participated in my first trip to Hawaii with a friend. At first, we had a hard time finding the meeting place (it was farther than we thought), and I was worried we might not make it in time while dashing to the departure. However, the staff was waiting for us and welcomed us warmly.
*For everyone participating, it's best to allow plenty of time!
As mentioned in the voice center comments, there weren't many Japanese people on board, and the boat was small, so it felt a bit rocky. But holding a champagne in one hand while listening to the background music and feeling the splashes of water up close made this tour amazing!
Also, since it was Friday, we got to see not only the sunset and night view but also fireworks launched from Hilton H., which was truly wonderful.
I highly recommend this for those who want to experience the Hawaiian vibe and enjoy a different Honolulu from the Japanese-dominated Waikiki!
つい先日、友人と初Hawaiiで参加しました。
初めは集合場所がなかなか見つからず（思ったよりも遠い…）ダッシュしながら出港に間に合わないかと心配しましたが、スタッフの方達が私達を待っていてくれ、暖かく向かえてました。

ボイスセンターのコメント通り日本人はあまり乗っていなく、船は小さいので少々揺れが激しく感じましたが、片手にシャンパンをもってback musicを聴きながら、水しぶきを間近に感じられるこのツアーは最高でした！
また、金曜日だったので夕日＆夜景のみならずHilton H.から打ち上げられる花火も見れて、本当にステキでした。

I had been on a lunch cruise before, but this was my first dinner cruise. Since I had ten guests attending my local wedding, I chose this experience to give them a taste of Hawaii. The weather was great, and the cruise began while we admired a sunset in colors we had never seen before. I couldn't help but take several photos. The food was GOOD!! Both kids and adults were satisfied, and the adult group enjoyed quite a bit of alcohol. The staff's bright performances and events made for a fun time, and everyone, including the adults, became quite cheerful. I was really happy to hear everyone express their gratitude, saying it was wonderful.

My impression is that it was "fun." The night view and sunset in Honolulu were very nice. Since it was my first time participating, I was very satisfied. We were a family, but it felt like the Three Star was quite packed with people. For families of 4 to 6, the Three Star is sufficient. Newlyweds might be better off participating in the Five Star...

We boarded the boat before sunset and had a wonderful time until the sun went down. We were able to relax and enjoy the scenery during the meal, and there were also lively shows and band performances. The food was very substantial, and we were completely satisfied. We booked a celebration at Three Star. Since it was our honeymoon, we hoped it would be a memorable experience, and we had a very meaningful time. The staff was great, the Polynesian dance show was fun, and the sunset was absolutely beautiful. It felt like we could go see the sunset even during dinner, and the food was delicious as well. With the celebration plan, I think it’s a great deal as it includes a bottle of champagne and photos. It was a wonderful memory.

The pre-boarding dance and the performances on the ship were very enjoyable, and the all-you-can-eat crab was great. However, even though the champagne I had reserved was prepared at my table, the staff moved it to the table of a couple sitting next to us when we were being seated. Despite my insistence that it was my reservation, it took a while to get the champagne back. It was only after that couple said, "We didn't order this," that it finally returned to my table.
I was a bit disappointed since I had made the reservation in advance to surprise my companion.
On the positive side, I was happy that we were guaranteed a window seat.

I participated in a 3-star sunset cruise. I had a great experience two years ago, so I decided to join again this time. I chose the couples plan for this trip. Normally, you sit at a round table with six people, which makes it a bit awkward when eating lobster. Also, instead of sharing the welcome sparkling wine among six people, we could enjoy it just the two of us, which felt like a great deal.
As for the experience, even though it was my second time, I found it wonderful. The sunset was around 6 PM, and the view of the sunset from the boat was beautiful as always. The wind was a bit strong, and the boat felt slightly rocky. Regarding the food, the appetizer was average, but the main lobster was a whole one, which was quite satisfying. The steak was a bit overcooked and felt tough, but considering it was American steak, it was acceptable. The dessert wasn't too sweet and was fine to eat. However, the time was short, and the kitchen seemed busy. The last dessert was served after we docked. But it wasn't over as soon as we reached the shore; there were plenty of activities like folk dances and songs for everyone to enjoy, which made for a very fun time. I definitely want to book the sunset cruise again on my next trip.
３スターのサンセットクルーズに参加しました。２年前にも参加して良かったので今回も参加しようと決めました。今回はカップルズプランでの参加にしました。通常だと６人の円卓で座るのでロブスターを食べるとき気を使うからです。そして、通常ウェルカムスパークリングワインを６人で分けるところ２人で飲めるので、かなりお得に感じました。さて、内容なのですが、２度目とはいえすばらしいと感じました。６時過ぎがサンセットだったのですがいつみても船から見える夕日は綺麗でした。風がやや強く船はやや揺れた気がします。料理に関しては、前菜は普通、メインのロブスターはまるごと一匹なので食べごたえがあります。そしてステーキなのですがやや火が通りすぎで固めという感じですが、アメリカでのステーキということなのでまあまあという感じでしょうか。デザートに関してはさほど甘くもなく普通に食べられました。ただ時間が短いので、調理場は忙しそうでした。最後のデザートは着岸後でした。でも、岸に着いたからすぐ終わりではなく、民族ダンスや歌、みんなで楽しめる内容がたくさん用意してあり、非常に楽しい時間をすごさせてもらいました。次回も最終日には必ずサンセットクルーズを申し込みたいと思います。

Recently, I participated in a catamaran cruise during my first trip to Hawaii. First of all, it was a super cheap tour at $7.77, but it didn't include transportation, so I used THE BUS (which costs $2 one way). I had some sense of direction since I had been to the Ward Center the day before, but it might be a bit confusing if you go there for the first time. (I took the bus from Kuhio Avenue since my hotel was Sheraton Waikiki.)
Overall, the cruise was a fun experience. However, I was feeling a bit seasick, so I couldn't fully enjoy it, which was disappointing. There were staff members who spoke Japanese, so I didn't have any language issues. They were friendly and made an effort to engage with us, so if you try to enjoy yourself, I definitely recommend this cruise over others that have larger groups. If you're prone to seasickness, I suggest taking motion sickness medication in advance.

I am weak on boats, so I was a bit anxious about the cruise. The strong winds caused the ship to sway, and I felt a little unwell. However, when I went up to the 4th floor, there was a pleasant breeze and a bed where I could lie down, so I was able to take a nice break. Thanks to that, I was able to finish my main dish, the steak, completely.
The staff was cheerful and the service was fine, but I was a bit concerned about the delay in getting drinks.
The night view and sunset of Honolulu from the ship were amazing!
船に弱い私は少し不安のクルーズでした。
やはり風が強かったせいもあり、船は揺れ、少し気分が優れなくなりましたが、
デッキや階段を上がり４Ｆに行くと、心地よい風と、横になれるベッドがあったので
ゆっくり休憩することができました。
おかげでメインディッシュのステーキは完食できました＾−＾
スタッフも陽気で接客も問題ありませんでしたが、飲み物が出てくるのが遅かったのが
少し気になりました。

Last time I was on a One Star cruise, but this time I enjoyed a Three Star cruise. The sunset view from the deck was amazing, and couples and families were all admiring the Honolulu sunset.
The food was, of course, delicious, and the lobster was very satisfying. The live performance was elegant and enjoyable, and the service was attentive, with everyone being cheerful and friendly.
In the end, we all danced together, and the cruise excelled in food, scenery, and entertainment. I would love to go cruising again when I visit Waikiki.

We participated as a large family. We were initially skeptical when led to a room full of Japanese people, but the crew engaged us with their broken Japanese, the food was delicious, and the sunset was beautiful, making it a fun memory of Hawaii. There was a band, a first dance time for newlyweds, and a Polynesian dance show, keeping us entertained until the end. Finally, everyone danced together (though it was a simple dance), and my parents (in their 60s) were really into it, so even older people can enjoy it. However, it might be a bit tough for those who can't get into the groove. I think it's more exciting with a larger group than with just a few people. There were so many performances that I regret not being able to explore the ship.

I participated in the campaign. Since there was no shuttle service, I took a taxi in the morning. It cost about $15 including the tip. I saw a review saying someone walked from Waikiki, but I think that distance would be quite tough to walk. There were nine participants, including us. Only two of them were Japanese women. The captain speaks Japanese well, so I don't think there will be any worries. The boat is also clean. I was lucky to participate for the unbelievable price of $7.77. I really wanted to see dolphins, so my friend and I made a reservation over two days. However, due to the circumstances of the Makani, the second day was changed to a sunset cruise! Unfortunately, we didn't see any dolphins on the first day, but the sunset on the second day was breathtaking! It was quite fast-paced, so we got splashed with water, and it was very thrilling and fun. Above all, the crew members were all really nice, making for an enjoyable cruising experience.^^

On September 11th, my husband and I participated in the Makani morning sailing. The weather was beautiful from the morning, and I was excited. There were a total of seven participants that day, and aside from us, everyone else was from abroad.
After boarding the boat, we moved inside, and the captain began explaining the safety instructions and the location of the restrooms. Of course, the explanation was all in English. Although I could only understand bits and pieces, when we tried to go out on deck, the captain kindly asked if we understood the instructions and explained them again in Japanese! I was so touched by his kindness and felt relieved.
As for the comfort of the boat ride, it was absolutely amazing! After a while, the boat started moving just from the strength of the wind, and it felt so good to cut through the wind. Occasionally, splashes of water would hit me, and I was thrilled the entire time! I still can't forget that excitement. It felt like I was at an amusement park.
Perhaps because there were some waves that day, we didn't see any dolphins or turtles, but we did see flying fish. While you can see them in the waters of Japan, the flying fish against that blue sky and blue sea felt different somehow.
The view of Waikiki from the boat was fantastic! It felt like I was looking at a postcard scene. Along the way, I chatted with an elderly man who said he was traveling with his wife from Sweden, and that time spent communicating in broken English felt so happy.
After being on the boat for a while, I got a bit chilly from the splashes of water, so I think it's a good idea to bring a swimsuit and a light jacket. We took the bus to the ticket booth. I was worried about transportation until we got to Hawaii, but the bus was perfectly fine!
９月１１日、マカニ号モーニングセーリングに主人と二人で参加しました。
朝からとても天気が良く、私はワクワクしていました。この日の参加者は全部で７人、私達意外は皆さん外国の方達でした。
船に乗ってしばらくすると、船内に移動し、注意事項やトイレの場所などの説明が始まりました。もちろん説明は全て英語。ところどころしか理解できないまま船は出向したのですが、私達がデッキに出ようとしたときに、マカニ号の船長さんが、説明わかった？？と話しかけてくれ、再度日本語で説明してくれたんです！！なんて優しいの！と感激し、安心もしました。
さて、船の乗り心地ですが、これはもうサイコー！！しばらく進むと風の強さだけで船が走り始め、風を切って進むので、それはそれは気持ちが良く、時折、波しぶきが体にかかるので、私は終始大興奮！！今でもその興奮が忘れられません。遊園地に来たような気分でした。
この日は少し波があったからか、イルカや亀は見れませんでしたが、トビウオを見ることが出来ました。日本の海でも見れるけど、あの青い空と、青い海で見るトビウオはなんだか雰囲気が違って見えました。
そして、船から見るワイキキの景色がすごくいい！！絵はがきの風景を見ているようでした。
途中、スウェーデンから夫婦で旅行に来たと言うおじいさんと話をし、片言の英語で触れ合うそんな時間がなんだか幸せでした。
ずっと乗っていると、水しぶきを浴びたりで少し肌寒くなるので、水着＆上着を持参されるといいと思います。
チケットブースまでは、バスで行きました。ハワイに行くまでは交通手段を心配していましたが、バスで全然大丈夫でしたよ。

We participated as a couple in our 40s. It was our first trip to Hawaii! I really think this is a must-do at least once. We had a window seat, so the view was amazing, and I was moved when the sun was setting. The food was delicious too! When I didn't know how to eat the large lobster at first, they kindly showed me. The show was wonderful, and I was captivated. At the end, everyone danced together, and everyone was really into it! It was a truly lovely night.

For this trip, I decided to participate in activities where as few Japanese people as possible would join. I took part in the luxurious catamaran Makani Sunset Sailing. On the day of the event, there were no other Japanese participants besides us, and the rest were all foreigners. The number of participants was small, just 10 people including us, which allowed us to spend our time elegantly.
There was an English briefing once we boarded, but the captain also explained in Japanese, so there was no need to worry.
We enjoyed the sea breeze while watching the sunset, and we could eat our meals wherever we liked. We even saw a rainbow, making it a very satisfying activity.
I highly recommend this activity and would love to participate again next time.

We participated in the morning sailing campaign with my 12-year-old son. The other participants included couples in their 40s and 20s, and one older man, making a total of seven people, with the others likely being Americans. Although the conversation was somewhat limited, we had a great time. There was quite a bit of wind that day, and the captain warned us, "It will be rocky today," but in the end, this turned out to be a blessing. The speed was exhilarating, and the moderate rocking made it incredibly refreshing. Fortunately, we didn't get seasick and took our positions at the bow (since it was a catamaran, there are two) and enjoyed getting splashed by the waves together. However, everyone on the deck ended up soaked, not just us... There was quite a bit of up-and-down movement when we crossed the waves, adding a bit of thrill to the experience.
One slight disappointment was that since we had gone out to sea, I wished we could have gone for a swim, even for a short time. The color of the sea was a deep navy blue, quite different from what you see from the beach, and it felt quite substantial. Well, since it was a yacht, it might be difficult to anchor out there. Additionally, one of the young couples' women (who seemed to be pregnant) got seasick as soon as we left the harbor and spent the entire cruise lying down in the cabin. 少し残念だったのは、せっかく沖に出たので短時間でも海に入ってみたかったって事でしょうか。ビーチで見る海の色とは違い、まさにネイビーブルー。何か重厚な感じさえしました。まあ、ヨットですから、沖で停泊するのは難しいかな。あと若いカップルの女性(ちなみに妊娠されていたようですが)は港から出たとたんに酔ってしまったらしく、クルーズの間中船室で横になっていました。風のあるときは船に弱い人は酔い止めとか飲んでおいたほうがいいかも。それと同じく風のあるときには小さな子供はきついかな。大人でも手すりをしっかり握っていないと不安でしたから。
２時間のクルーズでワイキキ沖を何回か往復するのですが、沖から見るホテル群やダイヤモンドヘッドの眺めもすばらしく、二人とも大満足でした。

I previously went on a large dinner cruise, but this experience felt completely different, with the ocean feeling very close. Since it's a catamaran, it's stable, but it really gives you that refreshing feeling of sailing! The view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the ocean was calm and beautiful. The location is right across from Ward, and there's a booth just as you enter from the road. If you're driving, there’s parking available at the harbor, and if you have time, you might also consider parking at Ward or the nearby Ala Moana Park and walking over. The boat was very new and clean, and when I boarded, there were only six of us, so it felt like a private experience. Along the way, we encountered another similar boat at a dolphin spot, but that one was old and crowded, making our elegant experience feel even better. The fruit was also delicious, not the sour kind you often find at buffets.

The $7.77 campaign was a great deal. It was really enjoyable and fun. The crew was friendly, and I was able to relax and enjoy the sea. There were dolphins and fish, and even though I usually don't participate in tours like this, I'm glad I did. I didn't have any issues with seasickness at all. The day I went, there was hardly any wind, so we traveled by engine the whole time, but it was comfortable nonetheless. There were many surfers right by the dock, and passing by them was quite enjoyable too.

Since we arrived in Hawaii on a Friday, we planned to watch the Hilton fireworks from the beach. Just before our departure, I found out about this cruise and made a reservation secretly! Although I've been to Hawaii over 30 times, I had never seen fireworks from the sea, so I was really looking forward to that day. After relaxing at BREW MOON in Word Centre, I said, "I have a place I want to go," and took him to the port. We were the only Japanese there!! That was nice too. We enjoyed the scenery with a glass of wine, letting the refreshing breeze wash over us. Actually, I get really motion sick. But since my companion loves boats, I decided to join them. The location is right across from Ward Warehouse. We took the bus, and if you get off at the bus stop just past Ward Warehouse, there's a traffic light that allows you to cross to Kewalo Bay. It's easy to find. If you're feeling anxious, taking a taxi might be a good idea.
On the day, there were about 15 participants. Aside from us, who were not Japanese or Caucasian, everyone else was. The catamaran started moving, and everyone began enjoying pastries and fruits all at once. As people started moving to different spots, I sat in a place where I could feel the wind.
However, it rocked more than I expected. I thought to myself, "Hawaii's ocean really is a place where waves from all over the world gather." About 20 to 30 minutes in, I suddenly felt nauseous!
This part gets a bit messy, but as soon as I stood up to head to the restroom, a female crew member quickly said, "Come this way," and guided me to the back of the yacht. She took out a bucket from under the seat and handed it to me, saying, "Use this." Then she immediately placed a cold, wet paper towel on the back of my neck.
A male crew member came over and washed the bucket for me. Even after I felt better, the crew checked on me multiple times, asking, "Are you okay?" 思い思いの場所に移動し始めたので私も風のあたる場所に座っていました。
でも予想以上にゆれるんです。「やっぱりハワイの海って世界中の波が集まる場所なんだなー」なんて考えながら2~30分位立った時、急に来ました込み上げるものが！
ここからちょっとキタナイのですが…
トイレに向かって立ちあがるや否や、サッとクルーの女性が「こっちに来て」とヨットの後ろ側にと促しました。
座席の下からバケツを取り出し「これを使って」と言って渡されました。そしてすぐに氷水と冷たい水に浸した紙タオルを首筋をにあててくれました。
男性クルーがやってきて、バケツを洗ってくれました。
治まった後も何度も何度もクルーは様子を見に来てくれて、その度に「大丈夫？」と声をかけてくれました。
1度ケロったあとは回復も早く、その後は海から見るワイキキ、ダイヤモンドヘッドなどセイリングを満喫しました。下船後「あーもう1回乗りたい」と言って連れを驚かせてしまったほど気持ち良かったのです。ハワイの海はベタベタしないし、臭くない。もー最高でした。
ちなみに私のあとにも2人気分の悪くなった人がいました。クルーも慣れているようです。
クルーはその他、必ず乗客を見ていて安全を図っていましたよ。
あと、ヨットの帆の操作は必見です！
直接関係はありませんが、私達の参加は日曜だったのでその後ワードでフリフリチキンを食べました。おいしかったです~。

I have participated in dinner cruises at various resorts before, but this one definitely ranks among the top. I attended with my 3-year-old child, and the staff were very considerate, giving balloons to keep the kids entertained and bringing flowers to make hair accessories.
Of course, the scenery was beautiful, with the sunset over Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head from the sea being absolutely stunning. The food was also quite satisfying; although it was a bit on the heavier side, I enjoyed it.
The show was decent, and at the end, all the participants danced together. My child was particularly excited, running around at the front, and other guests and staff joined in, which made them incredibly happy.
One thing to note is that I’m not sure if it’s always like this or just a coincidence, but it seemed that for the three-star cruise, Japanese and Western guests were separated on the floor, resulting in a gathering mostly of Japanese people. Based on my previous cruise experiences, even if it’s a bit awkward at first, it’s fun to interact with foreign guests, so that was a bit disappointing.
今までもいろんなリゾート地でディナークルーズに参加しましたが、今回のは間違いなく上位に入りますね。3歳の子を連れて参加したのですが、スタッフもよく配慮してくれて、子供が飽きないように風船をくれたり、花を持ってきて髪飾りにしてくれたりしてくれました。
もちろん景色もよく、海から見る夕焼けに染まるワイキキビーチやダイヤモンドヘッドの風景も絶品でした。
食事も十分満足いくもので、やや大味なものの私はおいしくいただきました。
ショーもまずまずで、最後には参加者全員で踊ったりしましたが、うちの子も張り切って先頭きって走り回り、ほかのお客さんやスタッフも合わせてくれて、めちゃくちゃ喜んでいました。
ひとつだけいうと、いつもなのか、たまたまなのか知りませんが、スリースターの場合、日本人と欧米人はフロアを分けていたようで日本人ばかりの集まりになっていましたが、いままでのクルーズの体験からすると、最初はとっつきにくくても外人さんと一緒のクルーズもいろいろ交流できたりして楽しかったので、そこだけは残念でした。
