It was my first trip abroad, and it became my best memory. Of course, the luxurious dinners and sunset views were wonderful, but what impressed me the most was the kindness of the local staff! They welcomed us warmly and did their best to entertain us. In fact, we were running late and communicated our delay in broken English to a woman who was picking us up at the hotel. We participated as a couple. This was our third time in Hawaii and our first time sailing. About 80% of the participants were foreigners. The sunset was somewhat cloudy, but it was refreshing to sail with the wind. We enjoyed the night view of downtown Honolulu from the sea, and the fireworks were beautiful. The meal was just light snacks. It's advisable to prepare motion sickness medication and a jacket. Overall, it's more of an activity with an adult atmosphere.

I was picked up at the Marriott. I felt a bit anxious while waiting, but the staff member who was foreign guided me. I think the amount of food was enough for a star rating. There were plenty of highlights like music and dance. The kids had a great time as well.

Since it was a sunset sailing on Friday, I was supposed to see fireworks, but we drifted in the best position for over 20 minutes past the scheduled launch time, and ultimately, the fireworks for that day were canceled. I decided to participate in watching the Hilton fireworks from a boat on Friday. We walked from Ala Moana to the meeting point, which was just under 2 km (about 20 minutes), so I think it would be better for those who are not confident in their physical fitness, have small children, or are elderly to take a taxi. The ticket booth is in a yellow building right next to Fisherman's Wharf.

While walking in Waikiki, I thought, "Is this Japan?" because there were so many Japanese people, but as the reviews said, there were actually few Japanese, and about 70% were foreigners. Naturally, there was no explanation in Japanese from the crew.

Once we set sail and headed out to sea from Waikiki, the sunset was incredibly beautiful. It was a breathtaking sight. However, after the sun went down, it became quite challenging. It was cool... or rather, cold!!! Even though I was wearing a hoodie, I got so cold that I neglected the beautiful night view of Waikiki and ended up retreating to the cabin. The captain was also wearing a fleece and windbreaker partway through, and some foreign women were wearing knit cardigans. I recommend preparing for the cold!

We didn't particularly mind the rocking of the boat, but if you're prone to motion sickness, taking anti-nausea medication is a must. There were indeed some people who got seasick.

Despite everything I've written, the most disappointing part was that there were no fireworks, which were supposed to be the main event. While that can't be helped, there was no explanation about it during the trip, and at the end, we only heard, "I'm sorry we couldn't show you the fireworks today." I thought there could have been a bit more explanation. On the other hand, if you are fluent in English, you could have asked for the reason.

Overall, it's a good activity to enjoy the atmosphere, but you definitely need to prepare for the cold, have anti-nausea medication, and have a bit of language skills!

私たちはアラモアナから歩いて集合場所まで行きましたが、
距離にして2Ｋｍ弱（20分位）あったので、
体力に自信の無い方や小さなお子さん、高齢の方がいる場合はタクシーを利用された方が良いと思います。
チケットブースはフィッシャーマンズワーフのすぐそばにある黄色の建物です。

ワイキキを歩いていると『日本か～』と思うほど日本人が
溢れ返っていますが、

当然クルーからは全く日本語での説明がありません。

出航し、ワイキキの沖へ出ると

感動的な光景でした。
･･･と、最初のうちは良かったのですが、
日が落ちてからが大変。
涼しい･･･というか、さ、寒い！！！
私はパーカーを羽織っていたにもかかわらず、
ワイキキの綺麗な夜景もおざなりになるほど冷えてしまい、
キャビンに引きこもってしまいました。
キャプテンも途中からフリース＆ウィンドブレーカーを
着ていたし、外国の女性の方はニットのカーディガンを
着ている方もいました（Θ щ Θ）
防寒対策をしていくことをオススメします！

船のゆれも私たちは特に気になりませんでしたが、
乗り物に弱い方は酔い止め必須です。
やっぱり船酔いしてる方もいました。

なんだかんだ書き込みさせて頂きましたが、
何より残念だったのはメインの筈の花火がなかったことです。
それは仕方のないことですが、
その説明が途中一切無く、
最後降り際に「今日は花火が見せられずに申し訳ない」と
一言あっただけでした。
もう少し説明があっても良さそうだなと思いました。
逆に英語が堪能であれば理由も聞けたんですけどね。

総じて雰囲気を楽しむには良いアクティビティですが、
寒さ対策と酔い止め、若干の語学力は必須です！

We booked the Three Star Couple Plan for eight people without transportation. We took the Waikiki Trolley from the hotel, but it took a bit longer due to traffic in the evening. (I recommend leaving early.) There were two tables for four by the window prepared for us.

The plan included one bottle of champagne for every two people (a total of four bottles) and two premium drinks per person (you can choose from the menu), so we didn't incur any additional charges.

The food was delicious, and the Hawaiian and jazz live performances (including Japanese songs) were all great. The weather was nice, and we were able to see a wonderful sunset, which was the best part!

In the end, we all formed a circle and had a great time, even more than we had anticipated.

We had a photo taken with all eight of us, which became a memorable keepsake in the Star of Honolulu album. You can add an extra photo for about $20.

My wife and I were just on vacation in Hawaii and decided to take this dinner cruise. We opt for the limo transportation (not worth it, its only a 10 minute ride without traffic) and realized that the docks were not far from the wakiki hotel area. Anyway, they take you onto the boat and direct you to the appropriate floor according to the package you select. We selected the 5 star which was relaxing and not a party environment like downstairs(4 star). You listen to jazz and singing. It's very romantic and the views are out of this world. The 7 course dinner is ok, small protions but you do get kinda full. Couples plan is recommended. They brought our champagne very late which was disappointing but they gave us a free picture and the bottle to make up for it. They give you drink coupons anyway so it's no big deal. Our cruise was almost ruined because of the disrespectful crowd right next to us. One person in particular was laughing very loud you couldn't even hear the perform

Seeing the fireworks from the boat was my first experience, and it was amazing. It was truly a prime seat. The sunset was also incredibly beautiful.

While my husband and I were taking pictures of each other, people around us were friendly and engaged, which added to the pleasant atmosphere on the boat. Additionally, we were lucky enough to see dolphins along the way!

However, there were way too many people! There were so many that not everyone could find a seat (we had to sit by the stairs because there were no seats available), which felt a bit overcrowded. I also heard that they provided safety instructions in Japanese, but perhaps due to the crowd, that didn't happen. I understood most of what was being said, so I was fine, but those who can't speak Japanese might feel a bit anxious.

It might have been because it was a Friday, but I think it would have been perfect if there were fewer people. The boat sways quite a bit, so it's a good idea to take motion sickness medication beforehand.

金曜だから仕方がないのかもしれませんが、もう少し人が少なかったら最高だったと思います。
船はかなり揺れるので、酔い止めは飲んでおいたほうが良いですね。

The staff & service are both fantastic. They are so accommodating. The food is very good, however I was not able to enjoy it because I was so seasick. I didn't expect it to be such a rough ride. The boat could use an upgrade & makeover for sure. It's a bit dated. Entertainment was OK. That part could use an upgrade as well. They should know that there ARE good songs from this decade as well. Spring for the upgrade. Downstairs looked a bit crowded.

We were picked up by bus to the hotel, and everything was in English, but my high school daughter translated for us, so we got on the bus smoothly. It was a bit disappointing that dinner was on the first floor of the luxury cruise ship, but we had a lot of fun going out on the deck and watching the sunset. The dress code was casual, so it was easy to participate. The all-you-can-eat crab was only available during summer vacation, and we couldn't finish it. Next time, I want to dress up perfectly for the three-star experience. There was a price difference compared to other companies, but thank you for the refund.

I think it's enjoyable for both families and groups. In our family, we talk about how "if we go to Hawaii again, we want to go back."

Regarding the food, the appetizers and main dishes all had decent flavors. The portions were just right—not too much, not too little—making it enjoyable for people of all ages. The cocktails were neither too strong nor too weak, and they were delicious. There were also non-alcoholic cocktails, so the kids enjoyed them as well.

As for the sunset and other views, the boat rotates regularly, allowing you to enjoy the sunset and the scenery of Waikiki from both the starboard and port sides. We were lucky enough to see a large rainbow that happened to appear on the beach side.

We participated as a family of five adults and two children. When we took the voucher to the cruise office, they immediately exchanged it for tickets. There were three ladies at the office, two of whom were Japanese, so I thought there were quite a few Japanese people around. Before boarding, there was a welcoming hula dance in front of the ship, which really got us in the mood.

Once we boarded, we were quickly shown to our seats. Since there were seven of us, we were seated at a round table for eight, close to the stage. The appetizer was a cheese and fruit bar where we could help ourselves. After that, the food was served at the table. Each person received two drink tickets, so there were no additional charges. Just as we finished our meal, the sunset was happening, and we took some photos. The hula dance show started around the time the sun went down, and we returned to the dock as the show was ending.

Aloha Tower is far from Waikiki, and the roads were congested, so we took the trolley, which took about an hour. I recommend allowing plenty of time to get there.

アロハタワーはワイキキから遠いし、道が混んでいるのでトロリーで行きましたが1時間かかりました。時間に余裕を持って行くことをおすすめします。

On the last night of our trip to Hawaii, we participated in this dinner cruise as a couple. Since it was a standard tour, I didn't have high expectations, but it turned out to be better than I anticipated.

We visit Hawaii almost every year with my husband, but this time we participated in the Makani cruise for the first time.

It became a wonderful memory. The sunset was beautiful, and the night view of Honolulu while waiting for the fireworks was also great.

Just being out at sea, feeling the wind, and enjoying the cruise was a luxurious and lovely moment.

I prepared it as a little hidden gift for my girlfriend, and it was a complete success!!

Star of Honolulu is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. The staff's service was excellent! There were staff members who spoke Japanese, making it a great option for beginners. The hula dance show added to the Hawaiian atmosphere, which was wonderful.

The food included a whole lobster, so it took some time to eat, but it was delicious. The steak was cooked well, but it was a bit tough. The portion sizes were just right.

Of course, the sunset was incredibly beautiful. It was also fun to join in with all the participants at the end. I recommend participating at least once when you visit Hawaii!

I had an amazing time!
There weren't any staff who spoke Japanese, but the captain could speak a little, and there was another person who spoke broken Japanese and always checked in and talked to us, which made it enjoyable.

The boat was really rocking, and my friend got seasick, but I think it would be fine if you take motion sickness medication beforehand.

Everyone was friendly, and the wind felt great. The sunset was incredibly beautiful, and the fireworks that started at 8 PM afterward were lovely!

The snacks were limited in variety, but they were quite tasty.

All the staff were friendly, and I had a fantastic time!

I initially hoped to book for Friday night, but as I relaxed, it filled up. When I reserved the morning tour, I received a cancellation email after they had already processed my registration. I felt frustrated and thought about canceling the tour altogether, but my desire to ride on a yacht was strong. I decided to go, accepting that the afternoon sun would be intense. Once we set sail, the captain's playful spirit made for a fun experience, and most of the people at the front ended up soaked. I had a great time! If I had managed to book the evening tour, I could have enjoyed the fireworks and sunset. Next time, I will book earlier. I definitely recommend it!

We participated in the Three Star cruise with my spouse and mother. I was unsure whether to opt for the shuttle service, but in the end, it was the right choice to go without it. Since there were three of us, taking a taxi round trip was more economical, and we were able to board early and relax.

The waitress immediately poured us sparkling wine for our pre-dinner drink and toasted with us. We had a second toast with the Mai Tai we ordered using drink tickets while enjoying our appetizers, and soon the shuttle bus guests started arriving, making the atmosphere lively.

私たちのテーブル担当のウェイターのトニーさんはとても親切な人で常に明るく声を掛けてくれたり、料理を運んでくれるタイミングや飲み物の注文を聞いてくれるタイミングが良くて満足でした。最初から最後まで楽しい生バンド演奏や迫力のダンスショーで盛り上がり参加して良かったと思いましたよ。

I participated in a gathering of both families the night before the overseas wedding.

I didn't arrange for transportation and took a taxi to the venue. When I requested 11 taxis at the hotel front desk, instead of three sedans, they called two limousine taxis (which were a bit worn since they were for taxi use). It took about 30 minutes from Waikiki to Aloha Tower, costing $24 per taxi including tip. I arrived early and checked in myself, which was a bit tiring, but showing Alan's voucher made everything smooth without any issues. On the way back, I was able to get a taxi right away from the taxi stand.

The onboard facilities were decent, the food was average, and the dancing was a bit over the top, but everything flowed well, and it was enjoyable without any excess or deficiency. Since it was a time of long days, the sunset was just before returning to port, but the high sun over the sea looked beautiful, like blue paint being dissolved! We enjoyed talking about which hotel we were staying at and pointing out Diamond Head. 日の長い時期でしたのでサンセットは帰港直前でしたが
日の高い海も、青い絵の具を溶かしたようで綺麗でしたよー！
あそこが泊まってるホテルだ、あれがダイヤモンドヘッドだ、とか
話しながら楽しみました。
出航前に係りの人がシャカマークで写真を撮ってくれ
後ほどアルバムを売りにくるのですが、普段ならいらない物も
こういうメモリアルな時には貴重。３冊購入しました。

乗船客には結構欧米人もいましたが、それぞれの好みのランクが違うのか
接客しやすい様に分けているのか、フロアは日本人のみでした。
なので、ある意味気楽です。
スタッフの方の日本語もOKレベルです。

今後はまた別の方法でサンセットを楽しむかもしれませんが、

話中ばっかりで全然繋がりませんでした。回線が１本しかないのでしょうか？
催行元は繋がるのですが、フリーダイヤルじゃないし英語のみとなっているので
もうちょっと繋がって欲しいですね。

アラモアナセンターから１０分というのは何を基準にしているのか
ちょっとわからないです。はっきりいって１０分で到着することは不可能です。
送迎なしを選択される場合は、時間に余裕を持ってご参加されることをオススメします。文章だけじゃなく、簡単な地図が合った方が絶対良いですね。
私たちはトロリーを使いワードウェアセンターで降りたのですが、しばらく迷いました。とにかくクルージングなんだから海側だろうとあたりをつけて歩き、目印のフィッシャーマンズレストランを見つけた時はホッとしました。
レストランを見つけられたら、もうすぐそばにクルーズ船も見えますしチケットブースもそばにあります。

クルーズに関しては大満足。
参加は私たち２人と日本人ファミリー１組、外国人ファミリー１組、外国人カップル１組と少なかったです。その分、船のいろいろなところで景色を楽しめましたし、スタッフともたくさんお話できて良かったです。
スタッフの方はとてもフレンドリーで気さくに声をかけてくださり、盛り上げてくれますよ。ただ、のんびりと静かにサンセットを楽しもうとしていると船酔いしてるのかな？と心配して何度も声を掛けてこられます・・・

食事は人数が少なかったから？か、本当にスナック程度。
カラーマカロニのサラダ、揚げ春巻き、春巻き風のサンドイッチが２種類、それと噂のクッキーでした。クッキーおいしいですよ。甘いのが苦手な方はどうかな？
サンドイッチもあっさりとして日本人の口にも合います。
ドリンクはクルーズオリジナルのカクテルとソフトドリンク。２杯無料券で充分かなと思います。カクテルは大きなカップになみなみと入れてくれました。ミネラルウォーターはボトルで１本くれます。
エンジンの音や匂いも少なく、多少波が強いところもありましたが船酔いはしませんでした。大きい船よりこのくらいの規模の方がいいのかもしれないですね。
