This was a unique experience for me because I have never been on any sort of cruise ship before. Although the waves were a little choppy, overall I had a great time. The food is great (one star), service is good, and the atmosphere is satisfying. Just a little advice for all the couples out there who want a special "one-on-one" type of evening, spend the extra money to get a table for two. If not, you may end up sharing a table with another couple. I lucked out and the couple that was supposed to show, didn't. This is also a type of outing that is geared more towards tourists. So this may not be so entertaining for many of the locals. It also does get a little chilly, so bring some sort of jacket (for the men), or a jacket/shawl (for women). Overall, I enjoyed the quality and experience this activity had to offer. I would definitely do it again sometime.

We were able to see the whales, but it was only in the second half of the trip. The child who was eagerly searching in the first half got bored and fell asleep along the way. However, it was great that we were able to see them. The child enjoyed the lei-making and hula dance lesson experience more than the whale watching.

We would definitely recommend this cruise. The food was delicious. We saw many whales and one of them even jumped out of the water. It was amazing. There is a lot of space on the ship to spread out and see the whales from many perspectives (I think it holds over 1000 people). And the crew kept us entertained with Hula lessons, lea making, and ukulele lessons. We have a toddler and there was plenty to keep her entertained and happy as well.

We participated as a family of five on New Year's Eve. We were blessed with clear weather, and it was a fun cruise. When the captain spotted a whale, there was an announcement, and while looking in that direction, we were able to see the whale's spout and back several times, and finally, we also saw its tail, which was great. The food was quite delicious as well. However, while the adults were fine, the children took motion sickness medication, but two out of three of them got seasick. In the latter part of the cruise, they served ginger juice, which helped a bit, but I think it would have been better if it had been offered a little earlier.

晴天にも恵まれ楽しいクルーズでした。
キャプテンが鯨を発見すると場内アナウンスがあり、その方向を探していると鯨の潮吹きや背中が何回か見ることができ、最後に尻尾も見えよかったです。
食事も十分おいしかったです。
ただ大人は大丈夫でしたが、子供は酔い止めを飲んで参加しましたが３人中２人は船酔いしてしまいました。クルーズの後半ジンジャージュースを出してくれ少しよくなりましたが、もう少し早く出してくれるともっと良かったと思います。

The whole lobster was impressive! The flavor was delicious with a nice buttery taste, and I was satisfied. However, since I'm not used to eating such things, it was quite challenging to peel off the thick shell. I was looking forward to enjoying the sunset from the sea, but unfortunately, it was cloudy, so I couldn't see it. However, I was glad to participate because there were other enjoyable experiences, like the night view of Waikiki and hula dancing, aside from the sunset!

味もバターが利いてて美味しく満足です。
ただ･･･ふだん食べなれない物なので厚い皮を剥くのが大変でした。

I didn't have high expectations for the food, but the warm drinks (self-service with free drinks) and the meals were warm and delicious. Besides seeing whales, there were activities like lei-making, ukulele classes, and hula lessons, so even if we didn't see any whales, we could still enjoy the cruising and activities. During our trip, it seemed like we encountered a mother and calf whale, and they were frequently surfacing for air. (Unfortunately, we didn't get a clear view of their heads or tails...) However, most of the explanations were in English, and sometimes the Japanese announcements were delayed or omitted. Still, the staff was cheerful and bright, shouting "Whale!" Overall, you can enjoy the cruising experience by itself.

食事も温かく美味しかったです。
鯨を見ることもさることながら、アクティビティとして
レイ作りやウクレレ教室・フラレッスンもあり

楽しめるようになっていました。
私たちが参加した回は親子の鯨だったみたいで
頻回に呼吸をしていました。
（残念ながら頭や尾をはっきりくっきり観る事は無かったですが・・・・）

The Star of Honolulu Cruise is definitely enjoyable! I think the cost performance is good as well. There is a moment towards the end of the cruise that newlywed couples can enjoy, so I highly recommend this activity for those on their honeymoon. Casual attire is perfectly fine.

I traveled to Hawaii at the end of the year and participated in a cruise. The night before, there was a rare experience of a complete power outage across the island, which made me wonder if the cruise would still take place, but it went ahead as planned.

This time, I signed up for the standard package without transportation or lunch. Check-in was supposed to be by 11:45, but I arrived at 11:02 on the Red Line trolley while sightseeing around the city. The large Star of Honolulu was docked, so I quickly found the check-in counter.

Unfortunately, I didn't encounter any whales this time, but I enjoyed a relaxing cruise off the coast of Honolulu. Onboard, there were activities like lei-making, ukulele lessons, and hula dance classes, with people from various countries participating.

If you don't encounter any whales, they issue a reboarding ticket before you disembark. With that ticket, you can reboard during the season. I think it's best to participate without having too high expectations of seeing whales.

前日の夜に全島停電という貴重な？体験をし、クルーズは大丈夫か？と思っていましたが、決行されました。
今回は送迎なし、ランチなしのスタンダードで申し込み。
１１：４５までにチェックインとなっていましたが、１１：０２到着のトロリーのレッドラインで街中を観光しながら到着。
大きなスターオブホノルル号が泊まっているので、チェックインカウンターもすぐ発見できました。
今回は残念ながら鯨には遭遇できませんでしたが、ホノルル沖のクルーズが出来、とてものんびりとすごせました。
船内ではレイ作りやウクレレ教室、フラダンス教室などを行っており、各国の人々が参加していました。
鯨に遭遇できなかった場合、下船前に再乗船のチケットを発行してくれます。それを持っているとシーズン中に再乗船が可能になるそうです。
あまり鯨に期待をしすぎないで参加するのが良いと思いますよ。

On the day I returned to Japan, I participated as a reward for completing the Honolulu Marathon! Unfortunately, it got cloudy in the evening, so I couldn't see the sunset, but the food was incredibly delicious, and it was great to see the show up close. I participated on December 17th. As expected, I didn't see any whales, let alone dolphins. However, I was able to enjoy a bit of a cruising vibe, and seeing Diamond Head and Waikiki from the sea was lovely, so it was good in its own way. I also joined a hula lesson, which made me forget about feeling seasick, and it was fun. I will try again!

My first time in Hawaii. Before wandering around Honolulu, I decided to take in the view from the sea, so after arriving, I dropped off my luggage at the hotel and joined the tour. As soon as we set sail, we were greeted with the stunning scenery of Waikiki and Diamond Head right before our eyes. However, there was a bit of wind that day, and it was quite rocky offshore. Perhaps because of that, the buffet area during lunch wasn't too crowded and was quite smooth. Onboard, there were lessons for making leis, hula dancing, and ukulele playing, which seemed to create a lively atmosphere. Additionally, there were dance shows until disembarkation, and the crew's spirit of service was abundant. Finally, they came around selling group photos taken during boarding for $18. While it's not mandatory, it's a keepsake, so I felt compelled to buy it—what do you think? (laughs)

Took my wife on the 3 star and had a great time! Our waiter was a super waiter ... the food was fancy and tasty and the entertainment was fun. The best part is going up to the top deck and watching the sun go down. You will never see a more beautiful sunset!

The dinner cruise started with a warm welcome in hula and a wonderful opening song. The food was delicious! After the meal, they performed several types of hula, which was very impressive! In the end, we all danced together, and I was truly satisfied. It was a cruise that was perfect for the last night of our honeymoon. I'm glad I participated.

However, I thought the large ship wouldn't sway much, but it rocked quite a bit while turning, and my husband ended up feeling unwell. I think it was probably due to travel fatigue. So, if you're someone who is a bit sensitive to motion or gets seasick, it might be best to avoid this...

On our last night in Hawaii, we participated in a dinner cruise. We booked the Star of Honolulu's three-star course through Celebration OP from Japan. As many have mentioned, if you book as a couple or for a celebration, you will have a window-side seat secured, so arriving early is not necessary. Since it includes transportation, if you wait at the pickup point on time, you will arrive at the Aloha Tower pier without any confusion. Near the boarding bridge, Polynesian dancers greet you with hula dancing. They create a lively atmosphere from the moment you arrive, and when you reach your reserved seats, welcome champagne is served immediately. The included service cocktail also comes in a non-alcoholic version that looks exactly the same, so those who don't drink can enjoy it too. By the way, my wife had the non-alcoholic cocktails, Chi Chi and Blue Hawaii, and they were delicious. The food is decent in both volume and taste, comparable to a restaurant on land. The large lobster and the small portion of tender filet steak were satisfying. More than the food, the band performance and dance entertainment were enjoyable and added to the show. Dancers perform in the aisles, and they dance vigorously right next to the tables, which is impressive. Waiters navigate around the dancers while serving food, and sometimes the waiters join in the dancing as well. The handsome staff and dancers are happy to take photos with you. In Japan, we would call this a banquet. It was truly fun. Once the ship reaches off Waikiki, it hardly moves. However, we were captivated by the sunset sinking into the Pacific Ocean. As the sun sets, the night view of Honolulu sparkles on the opposite side, creating a romantic backdrop. This view alone is worth it. The dinner cruise was 100% satisfying for our last night in Honolulu. The reason for the overall rating of four stars, however, is that the tables felt too cramped. The atmosphere felt a bit like a crowded cafeteria, which detracted from the experience. Perhaps the five-star dinner course would be different. Next time, I will try to book an upper-class option.

ハワイのラストナイトはディナークルーズに参加しました。スター・オブ・ホノルル号の三ツ星コースをセレブレーションOPで日本から予約。皆さんが書かれてますが、カップルやセレブレーションで予約すると、窓側の席が確保されますから、早めの到着は不要です。送迎つきなので、ピックアップ　ポイントで、定時に待っていれば、迷わずアロハタワー桟橋に到着です。ボーディング・ブリッジ付近では、ポリネシアン・ダンサー達がフラダンスで迎えてくれます。到着時から盛り上げてくれ、予約席に着いたときは、即座にウエルカムシャンパンが運ばれてきます。料金に含まれるサービス・カクテルは見た目が全く変わらないノンアルコールも用意されてますから、お酒が飲めない方も楽しめます。因みに、妻はノンアルコールカクテルのチチとブルーハワイを飲みました。美味しいです。料理はボリュームも味もマアマアです。地上のレストランと変わりません。大きなロブスターと、少量ですが柔らか肉のフィレステーキは満足です。そして、料理以上にバンド演奏やダンスなどのエンターテイメントがショーアップで楽しませてくれます。フロアーの通路でダンサーが踊ります。テーブルの傍で、腰を激しく振るポリネシアンダンスを踊るので、凄いです。そのダンサーを避けながらウエイター達が料理を運びます。時々ウエイターも踊ってます。イケメンのスタッフやダンサーは気軽に写真に混ざってくれます。日本では、これを宴会と言ってますね。本当に楽しいです。船はワイキキ沖に着くと殆んど移動しません。しかし、太平洋の彼方に沈む夕陽に感激し。日没になると反対側にホノルルの夜景がキラキラと、それはそれは、ロマンチックに夜景を飾ります。この景色だけでも価値ありです。ホノルルのラストナイトに相応しいディナークルーズで満足度100％ PLUSでした。なのに総合で4星の訳は、テーブルが詰めすぎって感じです。混雑する食堂的な雰囲気が減点ですね。多分、５スターディナーコースは違うでしょうけど。次回はアッパークラスを申し込んでみます。

I participated to commemorate the last night in Honolulu. Since it was a special occasion, I wore a Hawaiian dress and he wore an aloha shirt, which really lifted our spirits.

We participated in the tour at my nephew's request. It didn't take long to get used to the dolphins, and we were soon able to touch them, kiss them, and finally swim while holding onto them, which was truly satisfying. Additionally, the professional photographer took great pictures, and my grandmother even bought a DVD for her grandchild.

On the last day of our honeymoon, we wanted to do something a bit luxurious, so we booked a couple's dinner cruise.

Departing from the Aloha Center, I felt more motion on the boat than I expected, but looking at the scenery helped ease my mind. I recommend taking motion sickness medication if you're feeling anxious.

As the cruise began, the appetizer service started right away (the appetizers are a buffet, so you help yourself), and the live performance kicked off, creating an exciting atmosphere. The performers spoke in English during the show, but they were so talented that we enjoyed it thoroughly. The meat dishes were delicious, and both my husband and I were thrilled to find a whole lobster included!

The dancers were absolutely amazing. We happened to be seated close to the dance area, which made it even more impressive. It was fun to see various dances, from Hawaiian hula to Tahitian dance. I was surprised when, at the very end, all the guests participated in a "YMCA" dance!

While sometimes overseas services can be a bit questionable, I felt that the local staff here were truly filled with hospitality.

I highly recommend this experience for anyone traveling to Hawaii for a special occasion!

アロハセンターから出向し、思っていたより船に乗っていて揺れを感じましたが、景色を見たりしてたら気分がまぎれましたよ＾＾不安な方は酔い止めを飲んで行かれる事をお勧めします。

クルーズが開始され、早速前菜のサービス（前菜だけはビュッフェになっているので自分で取りにいきます）がはじまり、生演奏が始まって雰囲気が一気に盛り上がりました☆演奏される方は英語で途中途中トークされていたのですが、それでも演奏がとてもお上手だったので十分楽しめますよ。
お料理のお肉も美味しかったですし、何よりロブスターが丸々一匹付いてたのには私も主人も大喜びしました（笑）

何よりダンサーの方たちが素晴らしかったです。私たちはたまたま席の近くでダンスが見れたので余計に感動を覚えました。ハワイのフラからタヒチアンダンスまで色々なダンスが見れて楽しかったです。そして最後の最後にはお客さんも全員参加での「ＹＭＣＡ」だったのには驚きました（笑）

なかなか海外のサービスってたまに「？」な事がありますが、こちらの現地のスタッフの皆さんは本当にホスピタリティに満ちていたような気がします。

記念日でハワイに旅行される方には是非お勧めしたいと思います（＾＾）
