I participated because I wanted to see whales that are unique to this season. I didn't have high expectations since I heard mixed reviews about whether people saw them or not, but luckily, the weather was clear and hot that day, and I was able to see 5 to 6 breaches! I think I was very lucky. Since photos capture moments, it might be better to use video instead. Also, I opted for the breakfast option, but if you take your time eating, you might miss the moments, so it might not have been necessary. Sorry to the tour staff.

I had such a wonderful time on the Star of Honolulu Independence Day Fireworks Cruise on the 4th. Everyone on the ship was very professional, nice, friendly and did everything to make sure your night and experience was a good one! The food was very good also, you never know until you try it, but it was great. The entertainment was great and I was on the first floor and staff entertained us very well with good food. The fireworks was the highlight of the evening and the 15 minutes of fireworks was sooooo nice and great to see with other ship mates. I definitely recommend the Star of Honolulu for any night or occasion while visiting the city. Lots of good memories from my last night in town while on the Star of Honolulu!

As expected from Hawaii, the Star of Honolulu Sunset Dinner Cruise was thoroughly enjoyable with no complaints. I was a bit worried about the all-you-can-eat option being the cheapest, but there were no issues at all. The freshly sliced roast beef was delicious, and the chicken and other dishes were well-prepared and tasty. Each floor had entertainers performing shows, so you could enjoy the experience from any seat. The sunset over Waikiki was incredibly romantic, making it a perfect setting for couples. When I went, it was slightly raining, which resulted in a beautiful rainbow, adding to the romance.

Regarding transportation, I opted not to use the shuttle service and took a taxi from Waikiki. However, since it goes further down towards the airport from Ala Moana, I thought it might have been better to have a shuttle service due to the distance. I went shopping at Ala Moana Shopping Center using the free trolley and then took a taxi about 30 minutes before the cruise. However, this time can be a bit congested, so it's advisable to allow for some extra time.

さすがハワイ、今回のスターオブホノルル号 サンセットディナークルーズ は不満の無い内容でとても楽しめました。
値段設定で食べ放題が最も安かったのでちょっと心配でしたが何も問題はありませんでした。
切りたてのローストビーフは美味しかったですし鶏肉等も十分美味しく作られておりました。
各フロアにショーを担当するエンターティナーが居てどこの席でも楽しめます。
ワイキキ沖のサンセットはとてもロマンチックでカップルなら盛り上がる事間違いなし。
私が行ったときには多少雨が降っていたので大きな虹が出ており更にロマンチックでした。
送迎については私は無しで注文をしまし、ワイキキからタクシーで行きましたが、アラモアナから更に空港方面に下りますので多少距離がありバス送迎ありでも良かったかなとも思えます。
無料トロリー等でアラモアナショッピングセンターに行き買い物をして30分ぐらい前にタクシーで向かうというパターンでしたがこの時間は多少渋滞しているので多少余裕を持った方がいいでしょう。

I signed up because I wanted to take pictures of whales. Since it was the end of the season on April 13, and someone who went in January said they "didn't see any," I participated without much expectation... But, wonderfully, the whales showed up! In fact, they appeared 4 to 5 times (their heads?). I couldn't hear the captain's (or guide's?) announcements about whale sightings well in English, but I followed the dash of the foreign children, and somehow managed to take some pictures. It would have been perfect if I could have taken photos a bit closer, but seeing this much is enough, right!? I signed up without lunch this time, and it was the right choice because if I wanted to keep taking pictures, there wouldn't have been time to eat.

今回ランチなしで申し込みましたが、常に写真を撮りたかったら食事している暇はなかったので正解でした。

I booked a sunset cruise as a gift for my parents. Most of the tourists were Japanese. We had a window seat with a beautiful view of the sunset, and the French cuisine was quite delicious. I made a reservation for a 3-star tour here, which my in-laws' tour did not have. The gathering method involved a dedicated large bus from Star of Honolulu picking us up at our hotel and taking us to the departure location while we watched a guide video.

At the port, many buses arrived, and it was bustling with participants. We were guided to different floors based on our meal choices, and I was able to meet all my in-laws. The seating was assigned from the back according to the number of people, so we ended up sitting apart. If you want to enjoy sitting close together, I recommend meeting outside before boarding.

Actually, my parents had also booked the same cruise, but we couldn't meet. Later, I heard they were on the 1-star crab meal floor, and it was said to be salty. The 3-star lobster was delicious. However, I recommend bringing wet wipes, as there was a long line for the restroom to wash hands.

Above all, the show and the sunset cruise view were fantastic. There is a photo opportunity for commemorative pictures, and I think it's worth purchasing… (^ - ^; The dancers and singers, of course, along with the waitresses, created a fun atmosphere, and all participants were very satisfied. 実は私の両親も同じクルーズを予約していたのに会うことができませんでした。あとで、１スターのかに料理の階にいて、塩辛かったそうです。３スターのロブスターは美味しくいただきました。が、ウェットティッシュ持参をおすすめします。手洗いのためのトイレの行列が長時間続きました。
なんといってもショーと、サンセットクルーズの眺めは最高でした。記念撮影の営業がありますが、購入しても損はないかと…(^-^;
ダンサーやシンガーはモチロン、ウェイトレスが楽しい雰囲気にしてくれて、参加者みんな大満足でした。

I'm glad I got to see wild whales for the first time, but they didn't jump or anything, so I didn't feel much excitement. But I guess that's just how whales are (laughs). They seemed to swim alongside us for a long time, occasionally blowing air and showing their backs. The staff were all very nice, and you could tell they wanted to make it enjoyable for everyone. It's a big boat, so it's less likely to make you seasick, but it's still a good idea to take some motion sickness medication just in case.

野生のクジラを初めて見れてよかったですが、ジャンプなどしてくれるわけでなかったので迫力は感じられませんでした。でもこれはクジラの気分なのでしょうがないです（笑）
ずっと横には泳いでいたようなのですが、時々潮を吹いて背中が見えるくらい。

What I thought would be just a meal on a sightseeing boat in Japan turned out to be quite the experience. Although I didn't understand much of the language, I was able to enjoy myself the entire time thanks to body communication. The endless performances were truly impressive, just as expected from Hawaii.

However, the main dish, the roast beef, was a disappointment. It was too tough for Japanese tastes. The other buffet menu items were similar; if you think of it as enjoying snacks while watching the show, then it might be acceptable.

Overall, it was a fun show. I was impressed by how the boat managed to accommodate so many people without causing chaos. It was also lucky to see a whale along the way.

I would definitely like to ride this boat again.

We had a great time! The food was good and we loved the view of the ocean. When we first arrived they took a family picture of us. It was nice to have a group picture. :) Even though it was windy that day we still saw some whales. It was amazing to see whales!!! It was too bad that it didn't jump high, but it was still exciting to see their backs and tails. The leis and ukulele class were on at the same time. It did go by fast so we didn't get to join both classes. However, we loved making leis with real flowers!! We had a wonderful experience.

My friend was visiting Oahu for the first time, so I chose this experience thinking we could enjoy various aspects of Hawaiian culture on board. We made leis, danced hula, and played the ukulele. Since it was a weekday, there were no group tours, so we didn't have to wait in long lines for the buffet. Depending on where you sit, it seems you could also see dolphins and whales. It might be worth a visit.

Everything was well managed even from the purchase on line of tickets. Pickup was on time in topscale bus. Staff was dressed in 1st class attire. Greeting by staff at dock was nice. Seating was fine with exception of sun shining directly in my husband eyes . it was a little distracting. Dinner and the drinks was great, along with the service. The entertainment after dinner was fantastic. Truly, truly mesmerizing.
Would recommend without hesitation.

We had a great time on the Star of Honolulu. The ship was comfortable and clean. The rails offered a great platform for picture taking and whale watching. Only minutes out of Honolulu harbor the first whales were sighted. We followed along with them for about 1/2 hour. They would surface every 5 minutes or so. On the way back up to Diamondhead we encountered another pod. After watching them for awhile, it was time for the morning trip to end. All in all... this was one of many highlights for our visit to Oahu.

It was a very enjoyable experience. Since I went to the location myself, I was able to board the ship at a leisurely pace, and I got to take photos and chat with the captain.

The disappointing part was the photos. I was really looking forward to having them taken at sea, but unexpectedly, they were taken before departure, and the photographer was a newcomer, so the family's expressions weren't great. I specifically asked for another shoot at sea, but they didn't come. It's a shame. If it weren't for that, it would have been a truly wonderful time.

I participated with half expectations, considering it was nature. Although I didn't get to see the jumping whales, I was able to see the magnificent spouts and tails up close, right in front of the deck where I was standing. I was so mesmerized that I forgot to take pictures.

The breakfast was delicious too.

With the blue sky and blue sea, and the Hawaiian music flowing gently inside the boat, I think that alone makes it worth the experience.

We used this place for our graduation trip with a close group of 9 friends from university. We had a great view of the sunset, and the show was fun too! The staff were really enthusiastic, and we all enjoyed dancing in a circle together!

I participated with my one-and-a-half-year-old child. I was worried about seasickness, but there was no need to worry about the rocking. My child was delighted to spot a whale and pointed it out! The weather was great, and it was very elegant to look at Waikiki from the sea. We enjoyed the cruise thoroughly. We didn't order breakfast and brought our own bread to eat. Coffee can be purchased on board for $4 if you order it. I'm glad I participated! We drove to the meeting point and were able to park in a nearby parking lot for $5. It was convenient because we could head out right after it was over.

I participated in a graduation trip with friends on the Star of Honolulu cruise.

First, we were welcomed with hula dancing and singing.

After that, we were shown to our table and enjoyed delicious drink service.

We could enjoy delicious food in a buffet style.

The sunset was very beautiful and moving. We were even able to see whales in the distance.

There were hundreds of guests, but since we were divided into several rooms, it didn't feel cramped or cheap at all (*^^*).

This is our fifth time! We really enjoy it and participate almost every year. When the weather is nice, the sunset is very beautiful. It can be a bit chilly, so it's necessary to have something to wear over. There are plenty of restrooms on the first floor, so when there's a line, head down to the first floor! I really felt like I was in Hawaii, and I had a great time!

天気がイイとsunsetがとてもキレイです。
少し肌寒い事もあるので１枚羽織る物がは必要です。
トイレは１階に沢山あるので並んでいる時は１階へ！
