石鹸の着色は薄めにすると中に入れた細かいグリセリンが出来上がったときにキラキラと透けてみえて綺麗になります

オンラインツアーですが、特に困ったことはありませんでした
ただ、せっかくのハワイのオンラインツアーなのできれいな海が見えたりすると嬉しいな～とか思ったりしてしまいました

Wedding Flower Lei Delivery in Hawaii & the Mainland U.S.

簡単にカラフルなソープが作れちゃいます！

オンラインでレッスンって大丈夫なのかなと思い申し込みしたのですが、先生が丁寧に説明をしてくれるし、聞いたら繰り返し教えてくれたので、不器用な私でもソープが作れました！

そもそも材料をそろえるのが面倒だなと思ってしまうところ、こちらのレッスンではキットを郵送していただけるので、ほとんど家にあるもので作れちゃうのがよかったです。あと、用意するものに含まれているスケールがうちにはなかったのですが、目分量でも問題なくできました。

基本的には簡単に作れるのですが、溶かした石鹸を調整しながら色の配合を進めていくうちに固まってしまったので、何度か電子レンジに助けてもらうことがありました。サクッと進めれば問題ないそうですが、なかなか慣れないうちは難しいけど、レンジですぐに溶けるのでよかったです。

一番の楽しみの色の配合はワクワクとハラハラがありました。色によっては発色しやすかったりしにくかったりするので、少しずつ調整しながら進めるのがポイントだそうです！今回、青・オレンジ・緑の3色を選択したところ、一番ほしかった青の発色が難しかったのですが、仕上がりには満足してます。

ナイフを使うところを除き、お子様でも気軽に体験できるレッスンだと思うので、子供がいる友人におススメする予定です。
自分で作ったソープなら、積極的に手洗いをしてもらえるかもしれませんｗ

[Online Experience] Soap Making Class - Make Hawaiian-themed Soap

Had a great time even under stay at home orders!

Bored with the kids at home and need something to keep them entertained during this stay at home order? This soap making activity was just what we needed because it was something different that we've never done before. The kit is delivered to your house so all you need to do is pay close attention to the instructions provided. The whole process is like making Jello and totally doable for young kids. I used three colors, which made it a bit more difficult but my daughter only used two colors and hers came out prettier than mine. The key to this soap making is making sure that the soap doesn’t harden before pouring it into the container. Keiko-san was very patient with my family and we all had a great laugh while doing it. Thank you for this fun moment we shared together!

好きな香りを入れてもGOOD！簡単ソープづくり

きれいな色の石鹸に惹かれて予約しました！
事前にキットが自宅に届くので、それと紙コップ、ナイフなどを用意しておくだけで大丈夫なので手間がないのも嬉しいポイント。

石鹸の元を切る、色を付ける、型に流し入れる、固める、など工程はとってもシンプル！だけど自分のオリジナルの色やあればアロマオイル、ラメ、貝などを入れて遊べるのが楽しい！！

子供でもこれは楽しく参加できますね！
自分で作った石鹸なら積極的に手を洗ってくれるかも。

楽しい体験でした！ありがとうございました。

[Online Experience] Beach Style Dreamcatcher Arts & Crafts Workshop

Getting crafty during quarantine!

After months of social distancing and trying to stay at home as much as possible, I was ready to try something new! This dream catcher workshop was just the thing I needed: something to stimulate my creative side and learn a new skill. I'm not the most crafty/artistic person, but this online class was very manageable and the instructor, Keiko, was so helpful and she slowly showed on her camera how to make the dreamcatcher step-by-step. She uses 2 cameras: 1 pointing towards her, and 1 pointing towards her hands to show how to create it. She made it very easy to follow and she was nice to chat with! Keiko is very sweet. The whole process of this online class was very simple and organized. I made the booking, she confirmed it and the Zoom call information was updated on my voucher, she emailed me asking which color I'd prefer, and the package was delivered very quickly! I'd recommend this activity to anyone wanting to learn a new craft and have a fun time being creative. Perfect for a girls night, family craft activity, couples, or even by yourself like me!

Last weekend I was supposed to walk across the stage and get my degree from the University of Hawaii, but due to the current situation in the world, my graduation ceremony was cancelled. I know this loss is minute compared to the big issue at hand, but I was still bummed to not be able to celebrate all of my hard work from the past 4 years! This lei completely made up for it, and it made me feel special and loved! Without this lei, it would've just felt like an ordinary Saturday. This gift materialized the fact that I was actually graduating! If you want to truly share aloha, a lei is the perfect way to brighten someone's day and make them feel beautiful.

Thanks to the quarantine I wasn't able to celebrate my 30th birthday, but my wife made sure I had a good day. Not only did she cook a steak dinner and order the present at the top of my wish list, she also had a fresh lei sent all the way from Hawaii.

I was a little confused when the box arrived because normally I'm the one who orders flowers. Now, I usually don't wear flowers, but after living in Hawaii for a couple years I learned that receiving a lei is an honor and a special gift.

We were both pleasantly surprised that the flowers were in such good condition after being shipped all the way from Hawaii to the East coast.

We're so happy with the delivery and lei that we want to order some for our moms for Mother's Day!

My husband recently celebrated his 30th birthday, and like many people whose plans have changed due to COVID-19, we had to cancel our celebration plans. Though I ordered a nice birthday present and made his dinner of choice, I wanted to do something extra, something that would remind him of a place that is special to both of us.

We got engaged and married in Hawaii and have many special memories there, so for his birthday I thought it would be nice to order a fresh Hawaiian lei. Honestly it was just as much for me as it was for him. Since we’ve been quarantined somewhere cold, all I’ve been thinking about is the warm Hawaiian air and tropical waters.

When the lei arrived, my husband was touched and appreciative but he knew it meant more to me; he’s not a flower kind of guy. So after presenting him with the lei and taking some pictures, he let me hang the lei so we could both enjoy the fresh flowers.

The booking process was simple and I received my tracking number when the delivery was shipped. The lei arrived exactly when it was supposed to and the flowers were in perfect condition. Not a single petal had fallen off. Now I just need to order one for my mom for Mother's Day!

場所もわかりやすく、非常に便利なとこです。
食事の予約がある場合には、事前にお伝えしておくと、時間調整してもらえます。
私は、不器用なんですが、丁寧に教えていただき無事完成しました。
間違えても、すぐ手直ししてくれるので、安心です。手を動かしながら、余裕があれば、ハワイの情報を色々と話してもらえます。

2020年元旦に予約して参加しました。去年のスノードーム作りがとても楽しかったのでまた行きたいと言う子どもたちのリクエストで、今回はドリームキャッチャー作りに。
スノードームは親が手を出すことなく、ほぼこどもたちだけで出来ましたが、ドリームキャッチャーは1年生の娘と３年生の息子には編むのが少し難しかったようで、私たち両親が隣で手伝いながら作りました。
老眼鏡を忘れた主人は少し苦戦していましたが、普通の大人なら難しい工程はありません。
子どもたちがフレームや糸、羽、ビーズの色などを選んで作ったので、オリジナルのドリームキャッチャーの完成に大満足でした！
こちらではどの作品も大体1時間で出来る様に設定されているそうです。
DFSのすぐ隣と言う行きやすい立地で、雨の日や時間が空いた時に気軽に立ち寄ることが出来るのも良いと思います。
先生も優しく丁寧に、子どもにもわかりやすく教えてくださいます。
次は何を作ろうかな？と今から楽しみです！

冬のハワイは雨が多い時期ということだったので、雨でも楽しめるツアーを探していたところこちらを見つけて申し込みました。横で見ていて網の部分の編み込みが難しそうでしたが、丁寧に指導していただいたので順調に完成までたどり着きました。娘二人も夢中で製作に取り組んで、とてもかわいい作品ができました。
私たちが訪問した時は案の定、ちょう大雨でしたが、天気に関係なく楽しめて思い出にもなるいいアクティビティだと思います。

16時の便だったので、最終日モーニングをしてから参加しました。
私は不器用な方ですが、丁寧に教えていただき、とっても可愛く作ることができました！
紐の色やストーン、羽など自分好みにカスタマイズできますし、完成度も高いので日本に帰ってからさっそくインテリアにしています。
オーナーさんとのお話も楽しくて、ハワイの素敵な思い出が一つ増えました。
店内で販売されている小物もどれも可愛くてテンション上がりました。

娘と2人で参加しました。
場所は免税店からすぐのわかりやすい場所にありました。先生も優しく褒め上手で、丁寧に教えていただき、本当にあっという間に完成しました。難しそうに感じましたが、言われたとおりにやるとできちゃいました。完成品は車に付けようかとおもってましたが、まだお部屋に飾ってあります。旅行先で、こんなゆったりした時間をとって、手作りのおみやげができ、いい思い出になりました。また、違う作品も作りたくなりました。

物作りが好きな小学4年生の娘と何かハワイ らしい体験がしたいと、親子で参加しました。場所はワイキキ中心でとても分かりやすいビル内の一室でした。初めての体験でしたが、順序良く分かりやすく教えてもらったので、網目の細かい方を選んだのですが、1時間ちょっとで完成しました。ひもの色、羽根、ビーズなど、材料は自分の好みの物を選べましたが、どれも色が綺麗で可愛い物が多くて良かったです！親子共々、とても素敵な作品が出来て、とても良い思い出となりました。早速帰国後、部屋に飾ってありますが、可愛いインテリアとなっています！

小さい子どもでも楽しめました！！！

ハワイ旅行の直前に娘が骨折したため、参加できるアクティビティがあまり見つからず、どうしようかと思っていた時にこちらの教室を見つけました。

場所はワイキキの中心部なのでアクセスも良好。迷うことなくたどり着く事ができました。

今回、車椅子での訪問となることや、6歳の末っ子が飽きずに最後まで出来るかが心配でしたが、講師の方が良い距離感でサポートしてくださり、多少の気持ちのダレは時々親が修正しながら(笑)最後まで楽しく作り上げることができました。

うちは編む作業が一番難しかったようですが、複雑な手順ではないので、一度やり方を理解すれば、一人で編めていました。

子ども達はとても楽しかったようで、次のハワイでも「絶対またしたい！！」と言っています。

小２と高校生の娘達2人が参加しました。
下の子のほうは上手に出来るかどうか不安でしたが、難しい作業などはなく、手際よく作れました！

お店にいくと待ち時間もなく、準備された席についたら 材料の色を選んで、ドリームキャッチャー作り開始！
お隣では、別の小さなお子様たちが、スノードームを作っていました。
作業は１時間ほどで終了。以外と短時間で出来上がりました。これならちょっとした空き時間で出来るので、スキマ時間にもいいかも。

材料の色合いもよく考えて準備されているので、誰が作ってもステキに仕上がると思います。
子供でも、とってもステキなドリームキャッチャーがつくれました。大満足です！

旅行の記念にと子供それぞれ1つずつで２つ分申し込みました。

5歳の下の子は飽きっぽいので最後まで作れるかが不安でしたが、少し手伝うくらいで最後まで楽しく作ってましたし、
お店の方は日本語で丁寧に教えてくださるので
小学3年の子供は1人で作れました。

紐の色やストーンなど自分で好きな色を選べるので出来上がったものにそれぞれ個性が出て面白かったです。

次また来る機会があれば別の物に挑戦してみたいです。

場所もすごく分かりやすくて、ハワイ初めての方でも迷わずに行くことが出来ると思います。
子供達に何か思い出になり夏休みの自由研究にも出来るような物を作りたくて参加しました。
小1の男子はダイナミックに糸を編みあげながら、小3女子は丁寧に作品を作り素敵なドリームキャッチャーが出来ました。
ハワイでの生活の話も聞かせて頂き、あっという間に時間が経ちました。

想像以上に素敵なドリームキャッチャーが仕上がり大満足です^ ^ 教えて下さったKeikoさんは私がやり方を間違えてしまったのに笑顔で直して下さり最後まで丁寧に教えて下さいました。作りながらのおしゃべりもも楽しく、また違うものも作ってみたいです。可愛いリングホルダーもお土産に買えて幸せ♡ 夏休み中で小学生も何人か参加していて夏休みの宿題にとスノーボールをファミリーで楽しそうに作っていました♪ ハワイの素敵な思い出作りに大人も子供も楽しく手作り体験出来る「ハレ・ハナ・ワイキキ」おすすめですよ(^^)

親子で作りました

夏休みのハワイ旅行の思い出に、私と娘(7歳)でそれぞれのドリームキャッチャーを作りました。お店の方に教えていただきながら、枠に紐を巻くところから始まり、一から手作りのドリームキャッチャーができました。大切に飾っておこうと思います。お店の方もフレンドリーな雰囲気で楽しく作業ができました。場所は宿泊したホテルのすぐ近くだったのでとても便利でした。次回はドリームキャッチャー以外のものも作ってみたいです。

Royal Star Private Bus Charter (Ko Olina Resorts & Turtle Bay Hotel)

I recommend using Veltra when booking a charter

It was a pleasure working with Mikiko!!! I have used Veltra twice to book private charters for Project Graduations. Once for Saint Francis School and the other recently for Sacred Hearts Academy. The driver was waiting ahead of schedule for us, he was pleasant and accommodating. I would strongly recommend using Veltra to book tours or a private charter.
