Big Island Tour

The guide was great, hugely knowledgeable and interesting.
The helicopter trip was perhaps the most incredible thing I have ever done. The ground crew were superb and the pilot made it the best trip ever. After waiting 30 years to do this tour it didn't disappoint.
Could not recommend it highly enough.
This is a very special Adventure and glad we were able to show you the beauty of Kauai. Now you know why they call it the Garden Isle

Good tour, but you can't schedule nature
Reviewed by: Tom , 2023/12/10The timings and organisation of the tour were good. We were picked up from the airport and taken to see the Volcano National Park sites with a good guide who kept us informed and was accommodating of our needs. Unfortunately you can't schedule nature and we didn't see any volcanic activity apart from a little steam, but it was still interesting, especially the lava tube.
We had a helicopter tour with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters to finish off with, but I will not review that part, I will review their admin however. We really wanted a copy of the video of our flight as it was for a 50th birthday, but due to a technical difficulty could not get it at the time. We were told to just drop them a line, but after several emails and calls, still nothing - very disappointed in them.

オアフ島以外の自然にも触れたくて、現地の友達にもカウアイ島をオススメされ、検索したところこちらがHitしました。HPで見れる観光の順番とは違ったものの、1番楽しみにしていたシダの洞窟を目指してワイルア川クルーズが本当に神聖な感じがして感激しました。他の場所もエネルギッシュで何か素敵な感覚を感じさせてくれました。
カウアイ島に着いて実際バスにピックアップしてもらうまでちゃんと参加できるか半信半疑でしたが、1人目のドライバーさんもすっごくフレンドリーで、2人目(Kaleo)のドライバーさんもとっても楽しく面白くずっとみんなを笑わせてくれました。1人でかつ日本からの参加は私1人だったせいか、バス車内でもランチのレストランでもお客さん皆も私に話しかけてくれて始終楽しく過ごせました。Kaleoのガイドのおかげでさらに楽しい時間が過ごせたんだと思います。このツアーに参加できて本当にラッキーです！！

ワイキキとは全く違う自然を堪能、ドライバー兼ガイドさんがフレンドリーでとても楽しかった！
Reviewed by: 京都大好き！, 2023/07/14何度かベルトラさんや催行会社からメールをもらって、早朝の集合時間などのお知らせがあり「5:30にホノルル空港集合」と知らされていたのに、前日になってショートメッセージで、「5:00集合」とのメッセージが！
ホノルルに到着してすぐにリコンファメーションの電話で話した時にも5:30集合と言われたのに、そのあと少しして5:00集合と言われ、慌てて電話しました。
オフィスは14:30まで電話対応OKと書かれていたので、2:17に慌てて確認の電話をしようと思ったら、電話に誰も出なくて、どうしようもないので念のため早めの集合に合わせて、ホノルルのホテルを4時半に出ました。
もらったバウチャーと違うなとは思ってましたが、結論としては、5:30でよかったみたいでした。
多分ショートメッセージにタイプし間違えたのだと思いますが、ちゃんと確認してから送って欲しかったです。
とても困りました。
カウアイ島観光は、ドライバー兼ガイドさんの楽しい人柄に、終始12人の参加者は楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。
観光も、お昼ご飯も、期待以上に満足できました。
日本人は私たち夫婦だけでしたが、色々なところから集まったインターナショナルな雰囲気でした。
カウアイ島へ行くならこのツアーがおすすめです♪

Wonderful Tour Guide! Keyleon
Reviewed by: Mary and Tom Dodd , 2023/06/11We completely enjoyed our tour of this beautiful island. Our guide was amazing. Keyleon He had so much knowledge about the areas he expertly drove us to.
The only negative I found is that most people who took this tour were staying on this island. We did a flight from Oahu to Kauai. We missed our return flight due to slow traffic conditions. If you plan to island hop- make sure you get a later flight off this island or you will spend a huge amount of time in the airport.

Volcanoes and Waterfalls!
Reviewed by: Yes to Hawaii, 2022/09/29Great way to see a lot in 1 day! We flew over from Oahu to Big Island and spent the entire day learning about Volcanoes National Park. Akaka Falls was gorgeous too!
We did the land tour and helicopter combo. Unfortunately, the helicopter tour cancelled because of weather. We joined the rest of the group who was doing the land-only option and saw a few really cool spots including Liliuokalani Gardens and other parts of Hilo town. I wore comfortable shoes (running shoes) and am glad I did because we did quite a bit of walking.

AMAZING!!!

Guide on bus tour was very nice and knowledgeable of local areas, history, and culture. Company handled flights to and from Oahu, the helicopter ride, and pick up/drop off at airport. It made the whole day easy and breezy!

OH MY GOODNESS!!
Reviewed by: Denise, 2022/04/18We traveled from Oahu to the Big Island and were ready for our adventure. We boarded our helicopter for our sightseeing adventure of the volcanoes. I was extremely lucky to be chosen to be in the co-pilot seat!! What an exciting ride. Our pilot was awesome. He was very informative and answered all our questions. This is the only way to see volcanoes, from the air. When our flight was over we were to be picked up by the tour bus and continue our day. Somehow we were overlooked and no bus picked us up. I called the company and they immediately sent someone to Glenn to pick us up. He fed us lunch and then took us to meet up with Dexter, our tour guide and we enjoyed a day of sightseeing. Even with that little oops, we were very pleased with the whole experience.

Incredible tour!

Good start for my vacation
Reviewed by: -PAUL-, 2019/12/30First time riding in a helicopter, the ride was awesome. I did get to see a lot aerial coverage, especially recent destruction that occurred. Checking out the other destinations were ok, but the park was the real treat. True interaction with steam vents. Feeling the heat come from it is insanely hot; even walking a distance away from it and the wind picking up for a bit, my sunglasses fogged up.
This is an experience only you can take for yourself. The helicopter ride made the volcano national park that more interesting. I would do it again just for the helicopter ride.

Outstanding service

We were picked up from our hotel on time. Had a wonderful guide at Big Island. The helicopter ride was simply breathtaking they actually did it before time which gave us time for an extra ride of the city after it. Would highly recommend this tour.

英語力がないので観光案内の説明は分からなくても仕方ないと思っていましたが、各観光スポットでの集合時間や、昼食の説明など、よく理解できないところが度々ありました。
このツアーを予約する場合は、それなりに英語力がないと厳しいと思いました。
観光地的には、浜辺で甲羅干ししているカメがたくさんいて、それを見れたのは嬉しかった。

Treat yourself!
Reviewed by: Lynette, 2019/07/18We had a fabulous day on this tour. You do need staying power as it starts early and ends late but it is worth it. The bus tour of the Volcano Park was interesting but it was the helicopter ride that made the day. The professionalism of the company chartered for our ride was outstanding and our pilot had everyone feeling safe, secure and excited for the whole flight. Flying over the volcanos was amazing, even without any red lava on our day.
The one thing that was missing from the day was a little bit of time to explore Hilo itself - it looked so interesting and non touristy that we would have loved half an hour there.
This is not a cheap day, but certainly a once in a
lifetime experience we won’t ever forget and worth every cent.

Great tour for someone who wants to see the volcanoes.

Also saw a lot of hot gas from the volcanoes and walked on solidified lava. Great whole-day tour !

An adventurous road trip
Reviewed by: The Zarrs, 2018/11/09Although a very long day on the bus and limited stops due to narrow roads and busy traffic, when we were able to stop at certain locations it was absolutely breathtaking.
To really take in the full affect of the drop and photos over the cliff, I would suggest sitting on the left side of the bus if you’re able. Make sure you have a strong stomach, aren’t afraid of heights and able to withstand the winding roads, the photos you capture on this trip are well worth the adventure
