Before the experience, you can store large bags in lockers, but remember to bring your passport and driver's license for check-in. Small bags like a sacoche are allowed.

There was no Japanese guide during the activity, but the video with safety instructions for riding the buggy was in Japanese, so I was able to enjoy it without any problems. The guides were cheerful and very nice throughout the experience.

However, one thing I regret is not being able to stop at the King Kong and dinosaur footprints. It would be helpful if the reservation explanation included details on where you can get off.

Also, when it's sunny, there can be a lot of dust, so I recommend bringing sunglasses or a hat! While the dress code suggests long pants, it seems that shorts would be fine as well.

This was an excellent start to a seven-day island excursion. Enjoyed every aspect of the journey including the boat ride to and from. The submarine crew did an excellent job of insuring that viewers on both sides of the vessel got to see the same sights. Fish of all size, turtles, and even eels all clearly visible coupled with insightful commentary from a comedic crew member.

I participated with my daughter! The Japanese staff provided explanations, which made us feel at ease. We also took a lot of photos! The lunch included delicious hamburgers.

We were able to see sea turtles, and the sandbar was very beautiful! My 10-year-old daughter had her first snorkeling experience, and she had no problems at all. She was amazed to see so many fish during her first snorkeling adventure!

One downside was that it was quite windy, and we felt a bit cold. If you participate, it might be a good idea to bring an extra towel or jacket just in case.

Since there were no windows, it was colder up there than I imagined, and even with the borrowed warm clothing, it was still a bit chilly. The horse was incredibly smart, so even though it was my first time riding, I had a great time horseback riding. They explained it in English like a scene from a movie. Since everything was in English, it felt like enjoying the atmosphere. Haha! I'm glad I could have an experience that I can't have in Japan!!! You can only bring the bare minimum, like your smartphone and some water, so a coin locker is essential. You can use a credit card for the coin locker.

This was an experience under the clear sky that truly felt like a Hawaiian beach. I added a wetsuit to my equipment rental and was fully prepared with my own gloves. The high tide allowed for sufficient water depth, so the fish were coming out from the rocks. The large size of the fish may be due to the thorough management of the reef. I was able to see a small turtle, possibly carried by the current. To be honest, the waves were high, visibility was low, and it turned into a challenging snorkeling experience due to seasickness and physical exhaustion, but that’s just the luck of the draw. I hope for better conditions next time.

We had an enjoyable day out. The weather wasn’t very favourable but the team still did an outstanding job. Lunch was cooked fresh and was very nice. We didn’t snorkel but looks like all had a great time.
The only thing I would change is we had 2 boats tied together and it made for a lot of flippers in the water, looked very crowded around the reef. I’m saying that, the team always kept their eyes on the job and communicated together at all times.
Great job done by all.

I was grateful that a Japanese explanation video was played on the shuttle bus. During the cruise, the staff were friendly and spoke to us, even though we don't speak much English, and there was a show, so we had a great time without any dull moments. The buffet food was average; I still think Japanese food is the best. If there's another opportunity, I would like to try the course meal as well.

I had participated before, but this time I brought along a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old, making a total of 10 people for the 3-star experience. The children were very excited to be on a big boat. However, the meals were the same as the adults', which were too large for them to finish. I think it would be great to have child-friendly meals available.

Of course, the sunset and the night view of Waikiki were amazing. Additionally, the hula dance and the dances that passengers could join in on were very lively.

The clear weather quickly turned, and as soon as we got on the buggy, it started to rain. When I looked back, the two guides were fully prepared, as if they had expected it. Almost everyone was soaked through to their underwear from the heavy rain. There was no time to enjoy the scenery at all. After the activity ended, we had about ten minutes until the shuttle bus arrived. There wasn't enough room to get on, and even if we did, there were no seats available. The return bus only comes once at 1:30, which is far too infrequent. I missed the rain gear at the vending machine at the reception.

We set off on a boat with a handsome older brother! The weather was perfect with not much wind, and we were first in line. Although I was a bit nervous at the start, once we reached 150 meters, the breeze felt amazing, and we had a great view of Waikiki. We enjoyed a quick rendezvous!

The Bishop Museum was at the top of our list when it came to museums to visit. With an expansive exhibit in the Hawaiian Hall main building, they have everything from artifacts from the Hawaiian Royal Family to traditional medicine and religion. Do not miss this part of the museum - it's too important to miss!

There was also a kid-friendly Backyard Adventures Exhibit in the Castle Memorial Building, which my young son absolutely enjoyed. Each part of this exhibit is interactive and teaches kids about the seasons and bugs too!

The Richard T. Mamiya Science Adventure Center is an amazing exhibit which houses their volcano exhibit and native flora and fauna. There is an amazing walk through of a dark maze backlit with colorful birds and plants. Don't miss this one either!


The Bishop Museum is a wonderful resource and cultural center for both locals and visitors. I highly recommend it and consider it to be among the most comprehensive publically available experiences on Hawaiian & Pacific culture. Don't miss the chance to visit!
