This is a lovely oceanfront French restaurant located on the Diamond Head side of Waikiki Beach, just past Kapiolani Park, away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. It's perfect for special occasions and dinners with loved ones! This time I went with my husband, but I would like to go with my family of four next time. You can enjoy dinner in a sophisticated atmosphere. I think the prices are very reasonable since they include tips.

It was mentioned that Beltora could not secure seats on the ocean side, but we were seated next to a pillar. We had seats facing each other, with one person having their back to the ocean. We couldn't enjoy the sunset as much as we had hoped.

Honestly, the food was not as delicious as we expected. Additionally, it seemed that other guests who had made separate reservations were served with some dishes being prepared or plated right in front of them, while we only received our food without any special service.

There was a guitar performance in the restaurant, but the tempo was a bit fast, making us feel rushed.

If you want to go to Michelle's, I recommend making sure to reserve ocean-side seats individually.

I was worried that the portions would be too large for a meal in Hawaii, but I was very satisfied with the volume and taste, which were just right for Japanese people.

I usually drink coffee at the end, but this time I decided to try white tea, and it was really delicious. It was TEA FORTE tea leaves.

I was able to make a great reservation that included a shuttle bus to Tantalus Lookout. Since it was the day of arrival, I could relax at the hotel until just before the reservation, and it was nice that it was only about a 5-minute walk from the hotel (RYHW). The appetizers, pasta, main course, and dessert were all delicious, and I was able to get a refill on the bread, making my first day in Hawaii very enjoyable. I was told that those who came without a reservation would have a table available after three hours, so it was definitely the right choice to book early.

タンタラスの丘へのシャトルバスもついて、お得に予約出来ました。
到着日だったので、予約直前までホテルでのんびり休んでから行けたこと、ホテル(RYHW)から徒歩5分くらいと近かったのも良かったです。
前菜、パスタ、メイン、デザートどれも美味しく、パンのおかわりも頂け、ハワイ初日を満喫しました。

The final dinner to celebrate my 78-year-old mother's first stay in Honolulu. I made a reservation at my recommended restaurant, Taormina. The special menu from Veltra was a great deal, and in addition to its beautiful presentation and deliciousness, the dishes were served promptly just by showing the voucher. Since drinks were separate, we toasted with a wine recommended by the staff. I carelessly ordered extra bruschetta without considering the portion size, and we couldn't finish the course meal. After taking just one bite of the last meat dish, I had it packed to go. They generously added sauce, so it was delicious to eat later in the room!

I made a reservation here because it was his birthday.

I called the day before to confirm the reservation, and even though I received a confirmation email, I was told, "???" and that they would call me back after checking. A few minutes later, I received a call from Veltra asking, "What’s the matter? You do have a reservation, but..." I felt a bit uneasy, but I communicated that it was a birthday celebration and that I hoped for a window seat for the day.

Excitedly, we were led to our table, only to find a pillar right next to us, blocking any view of the sunset. It was the worst seat imaginable.

I wanted to ask for a better seat, but since I didn't understand English well and didn't want to create a bad atmosphere, I endured it and the course started at a seat that barely had a view of the beach.

At the start of the meal, even though both salad and soup were supposed to be included in the course, I was asked to choose one, and without any explanation, both were served... it was a mystery.

They did bring out a mousse for his birthday celebration, but sitting right next to a pillar where we couldn't see the sunset and paying a total of $400 made it feel like the least they could do.

誕生日のムースはお祝いでもってきていただけましたが、夕日も見えない柱の真横の席で合計400$も払っているので当たり前ですよね。

彼には、「値段じゃないよ、気持ちが十分嬉しい！！」なんて言われてしまいました、、苦笑
値段相応ではなさすぎるのでそう思うのも無理がないですし彼なりに気を使ってくれたのだと思います、、、


二度と行かないし、誰にもオススメしたくありません。

A convenient location for transportation. It's about 100 meters north of Halekulani, at the corner of Beach Walk, and might be a bit inconspicuous. The flavors seem to cater to Japanese tastes. Since the chef is Japanese, I think it's at the highest level in Waikiki. The appetizer, soup, main meat dish, and finally the coffee and dessert were all delicious. However, my wife couldn't drink the coffee, and there was no tea available, so we ended up sharing two cups. Later, I had the mentaiko spaghetti, which was also delicious.

交通の便利な場所。ハレクラニHから１００ｍほど北、ビーチウォークの角にありやや目立たないかな。味は日本人向きでしょうか。シェフが日本人とのことでワイキキでは最高レベルと思います。前菜　スープ　メインの肉料理、最後はコーヒーとデザートすべて美味しかった。ただ妻がコーヒーがダメであったが紅茶はなく、2人分飲むことになった。
後日明太子スパゲッティをいただいたがこれも美味でした。

However, when I showed the booked voucher at the reception, the Japanese woman there told me that they only accept reservations through OpenTable and that Veltra does not handle reservations, which caused quite a bit of trouble.

また、受付に予約済みのバウチャーを印刷またはスマホの画面をお店で提示と書いてあったので、スマホの画面を提示したところ、印刷してもらえたらよかったのに的なことも言われた。
ベルトラ とミッシェルズ との連携が図れていないのでは？と感じた。
不安な気持ちのまま、料理をいただいたので、料理も美味しいと感じなかったし、散々でした。
もうベルトラ もミッシェルズ も利用しません。

We participated as a family of six, including my 83-year-old mother. The location was absolutely fantastic, at the foot of Diamond Head, on the aquarium side, where we could enjoy a distant view of the hotel district in Honolulu and the Pacific Ocean. It was wonderful to slowly enjoy a delicious dinner while watching the blue sea and sky change colors with the sunset. The waiters in black serving drinks and food were quite stylish.

母親83歳を含め家族6名で参加しました。ともかくロケーションが最高で、ダイアモンドヘッドの麓、水族館側で、ホノルルのホテル街を遠目に太平洋を一望出来、青い海と空が夕焼けに染まっていくのを見ながらゆっくり美味しい夕食を頂き最高でした。飲み物、食事をサーブす黒服のウェイターがカッコいいです。

I decided to stay here, even though it's a bit pricey, on the day before returning to Japan.

It's quite far from the center of Waikiki, but that also has its advantages, as it feels peaceful and time seems to flow leisurely, which I think is perfect for the end of a vacation. (I also had my first experience using Uber.)

Since I splurged a bit on the price, the delicious course meal was worth it, and I noticed many couples who seemed to be newlyweds. The soup, in particular, was exquisite.

Not only the food but also the location is outstanding, making it a perfect place for a "special day."

We really enjoyed dinner at Michele's while watching the sunset and the beach, which my wife had been looking forward to. This time we ordered the course meal, but it seemed like other tables were enjoying à la carte options, like lobster cooked table-side. We brought our two children (ages 4 and 2) with us, and it was fine. The service was good, and we felt comfortable bringing the kids. It's also close to Waikiki, so I highly recommend it.
