a friend of mine who went to hawaii last spring break told me about the pacific star and i am so glad that she did. the food is sooooo good and it is awesome being in the private lounge since i went around the boat and saw the other decks and they were totally crowded. we had our own private restroom and even a nice little deck area too. and only $5 for martinis! can't go wrong!

I often come to Hawaii and have been on pretty much every dinner cruise on almost every island. The Star of Honolulu is a vessel that I often frequent when I am here in the islands since it has always provided my husband and I with a wonderful evening. The Pacific Star has become our new favorite with its initimate lounge setting, quiet atmosphere, delicious Pacific Rim cuisine and a chocolate fondue-like dessert that is to tasty for words. I personally do not like the loud and rowdy hula shows, so the Pacific Star is definitely my cruise of choice!

My friends and I have experienced the beautiful Star of Honolulu dinner cruise and it was the most memorable event ever. To begin the night was a graceful performance of the hula performers who greeted us aboard. We enjoyed songs of a live band and our favorite cocktails as we were seated to our table. The interior of the boat was elegantly decorated with special lighting and table settings, perfect for setting the mood of any occasion. As the large boat cruised smoothly through the waters of Oahu, my friends and I were able to capture beautiful photos together on the observation deck. With the sea surrounding us, we watched the beautiful sunset. Our dinner was immediately brought to our table with excellent service. We had an excellent steak and all you can eat crab dinner course. This was my seventh trip to Hawaii, but this time I was accompanied by my mother, who was visiting for the first time, and my sister's family with kids. I thought it would be the usual pattern and had avoided the sunset dinner cruise until now, but I finally participated. Wow, it was impressive! I thoroughly enjoyed it. The friendly staff, the entertainment, and the delicious food were all highlights. The weather was clear, but unfortunately, clouds covered the sunset, so I couldn't see the sun go down. However, there was so much to do, like getting close to the yacht, that I forgot about that. It was a rich three-hour tour that felt like a great deal. From the fourth deck, the panoramic view of Waikiki's night scenery and the Pacific Ocean was incredibly liberating. By the way, there was a smoking area on the fourth deck, which is great for smokers. I asked the staff to take a photo with me, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it turned out. While it might not have the same atmosphere for those looking for a more intimate experience, I believe friendly couples will be more than satisfied. I highly recommend it to repeat visitors who, like me, have been avoiding the typical Hawaii experience.

ハワイは7回目になりますが、今回は初ハワイの母を同伴、妹夫婦子連れとの旅行だったので、お決まりのパターンのように思っていて今までは避けてきたサンセット・ディナークルーズに初参加してきました。いやぁ~侮れません。十分に楽しませていただきました。フレンドリーなスタッフの対応やエンターテイメントも見ごたえがあり、料理も大変おいしかったし。天気は晴れていたのですが、サンセットはちょうど雲がかかり沈む夕日はお目にかかれませんでしたが、ヨットと接近したりと、そんなことも忘れるくらいに次から次へと盛りだくさんで、大変内容の濃い３時間のツアーでお得感がありましたよ。4Fのデッキからはワイキキの夜景から太平洋までパノラマで見渡せすごく開放感がありました。ちなみに4Fでは喫煙スペースもありましたから愛煙家の方もグッドです。スタッフにお願いして一緒に写真も撮っていただいたのですが、出来上がりが楽しみです。ファミリーやグループはもちろんのこと、二人だけの世界を望んでおられる方にはちょっと雰囲気が違うかもしれませんが、フレンドリーに楽しめるカップルなら充分に満足できるはず。ベタベタハワイ･･･と思ってらっしゃる私と同じように避けておられるリピーターの方にも是非お勧めです。

My mother particularly enjoyed the jazz numbers, as they were all songs she knew. The finale, "YMCA," got almost everyone in the audience excited, and it was filled with experiences we wouldn't normally have, making it an unforgettable memory.

For birthdays or newlyweds, they celebrate in front of the stage, so I think participating would create wonderful memories.

If I go to Hawaii again, I definitely want to join this cruise again.

お誕生日や、新婚さんは、ステージ前でお祝いもしてくれるので、参加されるといい思い出ができると思います。

またハワイに行ったら、ぜひ参加したいです。

I boarded the ship on January 1st. Since I made a reservation through Alan instead of a tour booking, the check-in was smooth without any waiting. (The staff at the reception speaks fluent Japanese!)

I recommend the three-star couple plan. We were able to chat and enjoy the scenery without worrying about those around us. Plus, it comes with a bottle of champagne.

The food included a whole lobster, steak, salad, cheese, and it was more than enough for me as a woman. However, having been on a similar cruise in Guam, I found the entertainment to be average.

I recommend this for those who want to fully enjoy the travel atmosphere and for those considering a place where it's okay for children to be loud.

Two days ago, my family of three participated in the Three Star cruise.

I had been on a lunch cruise before, but this was my first dinner cruise. Since I had ten guests attending my local wedding, I chose this experience to give them a taste of Hawaii. The weather was great, and the cruise began while we admired a sunset in colors we had never seen before. I couldn't help but take several photos. The food was GOOD!! Both kids and adults were satisfied, and the adult group enjoyed quite a bit of alcohol. The staff's bright performances and events made for a fun time, and everyone, including the adults, became quite cheerful. I was really happy to hear everyone express their gratitude, saying it was wonderful.

We booked a celebration at Three Star. Since it was our honeymoon, we hoped it would be a memorable experience, and we had a very meaningful time. The staff was great, the Polynesian dance show was fun, and the sunset was absolutely beautiful. It felt like we could go see the sunset even during dinner, and the food was delicious as well. I participated in a 3-star sunset cruise. I had a great experience two years ago, so I decided to join again this time. I chose the couples plan for this trip. Normally, you sit at a round table with six people, which makes it a bit awkward when eating lobster. ３スターのサンセットクルーズに参加しました。２年前にも参加して良かったので今回も参加しようと決めました。今回はカップルズプランでの参加にしました。通常だと６人の円卓で座るのでロブスターを食べるとき気を使うからです。そして、通常ウェルカムスパークリングワインを６人で分けるところ２人で飲めるので、かなりお得に感じました。さて、内容なのですが、２度目とはいえすばらしいと感じました。６時過ぎがサンセットだったのですがいつみても船から見える夕日は綺麗でした。風がやや強く船はやや揺れた気がします。料理に関しては、前菜は普通、メインのロブスターはまるごと一匹なので食べごたえがあります。そしてステーキなのですがやや火が通りすぎで固めという感じですが、アメリカでのステーキということなのでまあまあという感じでしょうか。デザートに関してはさほど甘くもなく普通に食べられました。ただ時間が短いので、調理場は忙しそうでした。最後のデザートは着岸後でした。でも、岸に着いたからすぐ終わりではなく、民族ダンスや歌、みんなで楽しめる内容がたくさん用意してあり、非常に楽しい時間をすごさせてもらいました。次回も最終日には必ずサンセットクルーズを申し込みたいと思います。

I am weak on boats, so I was a bit anxious about the cruise. The strong winds caused the ship to sway, and I felt a little unwell. However, when I went up to the 4th floor, there was a pleasant breeze and a bed where I could lie down, so I was able to take a nice break. We were initially skeptical when led to a room full of Japanese people, but the crew engaged us with their broken Japanese, the food was delicious, and the sunset was beautiful, making it a fun memory of Hawaii. There was a band, a first dance time for newlyweds, and a Polynesian dance show, keeping us entertained until the end. Finally, everyone danced together (though it was a simple dance), and my parents (in their 60s) were really into it, so even older people can enjoy it. However, it might be a bit tough for those who can't get into the groove. I think it's more exciting with a larger group than with just a few people. There were so many performances that I regret not being able to explore the ship.

I have participated in dinner cruises at various resorts before, but this one definitely ranks among the top. I attended with my 3-year-old child, and the staff were very considerate, giving balloons to keep the kids entertained and bringing flowers to make hair accessories.

Of course, the scenery was beautiful, with the sunset over Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head from the sea being absolutely stunning. The food was also quite satisfying; although it was a bit on the heavier side, I enjoyed it.

The show was decent, and at the end, all the participants danced together. My child was particularly excited, running around at the front, and other guests and staff joined in, which made them incredibly happy.

One thing to note is that I’m not sure if it’s always like this or just a coincidence, but it seemed that for the three-star cruise, Japanese and Western guests were separated on the floor, resulting in a gathering mostly of Japanese people. 　ショーもまずまずで、最後には参加者全員で踊ったりしましたが、うちの子も張り切って先頭きって走り回り、ほかのお客さんやスタッフも合わせてくれて、めちゃくちゃ喜んでいました。
　ひとつだけいうと、いつもなのか、たまたまなのか知りませんが、スリースターの場合、日本人と欧米人はフロアを分けていたようで日本人ばかりの集まりになっていましたが、いままでのクルーズの体験からすると、最初はとっつきにくくても外人さんと一緒のクルーズもいろいろ交流できたりして楽しかったので、そこだけは残念でした。
