One of the best tours we did on Oahu! Pick up was on time and convenient. We had a great time all day. The guides were friendly and very knowledgeable, and we never felt rushed. The buffet was hot and very good. There was always someone to help or answer a question. I would happily do this tour again!

Before the pandemic, I participated in a different experience plan, and this was my second time joining. There were hardly any Japanese participants, and the staff were engaging with the participants, asking where they were from. I was nervous when it was our turn, but even though I could hardly speak any English, I managed to have a conversation. The explanations were all in English, so I couldn't take notes, but I didn't have any difficulties. I was thrilled to encounter a sea turtle. There was one Japanese staff member at the information center, which was helpful. You can take photos at each location before participating and purchase them before leaving. It was $20. Since it's a popular option, I think it's better to make a reservation before departure. I'm glad I participated.

After about an hour on the bus from the meeting point, we arrived at Kualoa Ranch. Upon arrival, we gathered on the deck in front of the building entrance. The reception areas and schedules for each course were explained in English. Shortly after, our names were called, and we received a voucher detailing the activity's reception time, start time, and the return bus schedule. The reception time was strict, and they wouldn't accept us early. While shoulder bags and items hanging around the neck were not allowed, smartphones were permitted. Only still photos could be taken; videos were not allowed. However, if a GoPro was secured to the body and not held in hand, it was fine. For small personal items and water bottles, we could borrow a small bag to hang on the saddle, so anything that fit in there could be brought along.

The course offered stunning views of the ocean after passing through the forest, but I was most looking forward to the Jurassic Park filming location, which had a vast grassy valley. Unfortunately, the path to it was under maintenance, and our time was shortened by 30 minutes, resulting in a 25% refund later. My first horseback riding experience was fun, but my backside became sore, and the pain lingered for three days. (laughs) Still, it's a shame I couldn't see the valley, so I would like to try again.

コースは林間を抜けると海が見えて来て素晴らしい景色のコースでしたが、1番楽しみにしていたジュラシックパークのロケ地で草原が広がる谷には途中の道が整備中で行く事が出来ず、時間も30分短縮されたため後から25%の返金がありました。初めての乗馬は楽しかったけどお尻が痛くなり、痛みは3日間尾を引きました。（笑）
それでも谷が見れなかったのは残念なのでまたリベンジしたいと思います。

If you have a teenager you know how hard it is to get them to spend time with you, let alone actually participate in a family activity. Our 14 year old actually took his nose out of his phone to do this with is. He was taking videos and pictures (sometimes even with his parents!) and had a blast. The guides were amazing and had great stories about the ranch and island. 10/10

The buggy ride is longer than I expected. We travel in a group with two instructors and about seven to eight buggies. At several spots, there are explanations from the instructors and photo opportunities. The views are all amazing, and the instructors take photos for you, so you can get great pictures with your companions. The road has both paved sections and gravel paths, and while it can be bumpy and quite shaky, driving isn't too difficult. The maximum speed is about 20 km/h, with an average of around 15 km/h. It’s a fun experience, and the scheduled two hours fly by.

インストラクター2名と７－８台でグループで行動します。
数カ所の各スポットでインストラクターの説明と写真タイムがあります。
どれも素晴らしい景色で、インストラクターが写真を撮ってくれるので、同行者との良い写真が撮れます。

Having zip lined before, I highly recommend this tour. The transportation to the ranch and a well organized. At the ranch we drove with Stone who gave us a tour of the ranch on the way to the zip line base camp, pointing out filming sites, was a nice add on that I didn’t expect. The zip lining itself was with JT, Ethan, and Aiden and the guys were awesome, specially JT, made us all feel at ease, cracking jokes and making the atmosphere fun, relaxing everyone. Safety is top notch and Ethan and Aiden were awesome helping everyone land at the platforms safely. The little handrail bar that you can hold onto as you zip make it great for a first time experience and the zip lines are also organized in a way that it starts easy and gets more fun, which is a lot better than other zip lines I did that start with the big one right off the bat and then you just get small ones at the end. The overall tour is a couple of hours and lots of fun from beginning to end, can’t recommend enough. And and JT I’m only mentioning you 3 times, if you just landed the shot it would be 6 ;)

We seniors received hands-on support and were able to enjoy the experience without any injuries. It was my first time, and the first step was scary, but once I took it, it was exhilarating. I was able to enjoy the zip line against the backdrop of the majestic mountains and the beauty of the sea.

Unfortunately, I couldn't communicate well with the instructor and other participants, but we managed to have fun using simple gestures and a few words.

I highly recommend everyone to give it a try!

This time in Oahu, we decided to take on an active adventure by riding four-wheel buggies at Kualoa Ranch. It seemed like there were mostly younger people, as we didn't see anyone in their 60s like us, but my husband, who loves driving, was very satisfied. The weather was great, and the scenery was really beautiful. Just be careful as you might get covered in dust, so I recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and definitely using a locker for your bag.

First, the Japanese woman who explained the tickets right after we got off the shuttle bus was very kind, and I felt reassured from the check-in for the experience until we got on the bus back!

By the way, my husband and I don't speak any English at all 🤣. My husband, who is used to driving, and I, who usually don't drive, took on the challenge, but it was quite a long ride, and driving on the bumpy mountain roads in an unfamiliar buggy was exhausting even for my husband, who drives regularly (laughs). ただ運転に慣れた夫と普段な運転しない私で挑みましたが、結構長い間走りますし、ガタガタの山道を慣れないバギーで走るので、普段運転してる夫でもクタクタになってました（笑）
私はまっすぐな道でなければ景色どころではなかったし、写真スポットまで止まってくれないので夫に変わることもできず大変でした😭💦

だけど景色は本当に圧倒的で行って本当に良かったと思ってます！

I participated in a buggy tour! We stopped at about 3-4 highlights where the guide provided explanations, but since the guide spoke only in English, I had to pick up the nuances. (laughs) They were very proactive about taking photos and shared stories with humor, creating a really nice atmosphere for the tour.

As for the buggy ride, I wondered if it was really necessary to do it in Hawaii. There were also horseback riders enjoying the vast nature, and I thought that might have been more fun... so I felt a bit of regret.

You can have plenty of fun without driving, but I was encouraged by my husband to give it a try at the end, and it was so much fun! I recommend driving for those who have a license!!! Although we had no experience with mountain biking, we thought it would be fine since it was a beginner course. However, since it was our first time using electric assist, the sensation of acceleration and control felt somewhat different from a regular bicycle, which made us anxious from the start. Just when we thought we managed to start, within five minutes, two of the children were asked to leave, and since we couldn't leave two minors waiting in a foreign land, the parents had no choice but to leave as well. The remaining three of us continued, but ultimately, after about 15 minutes, my middle school son was also asked to leave, and only my husband and the university student completed the course. There was no alternative plan, no partial refunds, and it was a tourist facility that only operates as an experience facility, leaving us just waiting for the other members to finish. 親族を含めた６人で参加しました。子供達は大学生、高校生を含めた中学生以上で、普通に自転車は乗れるので参加しました。マウンテンバイクは未経験でしたが、初心者のコースだったので大丈夫だと思いましたが、電動アシストが初めてということもあり、途中で加速する感覚や普通の自転車とコントロールがやや違うので、最初の練習から不安でした。なんとかスタートしたと思いきや、その５分も経たないうちに子供2人が退場宣告を受け、異国の地で未成年を2人で待機させる事ができず、親も退場せざるしかなく、残り3人で進んで行きましたが、結局その15分程で、中学生の息子も退場させられ、主人と大学生だけが完走しました。代替えプランなし、一部でも返金なし、体験施設のみで成り立ってる観光施設で、ただ、他のメンバーの終わりを待つのみ。見たかった映画の見所を見れず…それで１人2万円近く。
料金はサービスに対する対価であることを認識して欲しいです。キャンセルポリシーを提示しておけば、コンプレを押さえれると思ってること事が残念すぎます。参加基準が低い割に、求める乗車基準が高いです。

たまに、お馬さんが動かなかったり、乗る人の姿勢が悪かったりすると声をかけてくれます。２時間終わった後の足はガクガクになりましたが、本当に貴重な体験ができてやって良かったです！ツアーなので、終わった後に時間を持て余しますがカフェのハンバーガーがめちゃくちゃ美味しいのと横が海なので時間内に戻れば海に行ってのんびりも出来ます。日本では出来ない体験だと思います！

I participated in the E-bike tour again this time. This is a repeat from last year. The guide was very kind and attentive. One slight disappointment was that it was crowded, and the spots often overlapped with jeep tours and bus tours. Last time it was less crowded, so it was more comfortable.
