Enjoyable outing
Reviewed by: Bonnie, 2018/08/04We had always wanted to visit the Sandbar and snorkel in the Kaneohe area. Captain Bob's made it enjoyable . The crew was pleasant and the food was great. It was a relaxed atmosphere (meaning, not too regulated) so we could pretty much do whatever we wanted. There were lots of turtles and fish. The only drawback was that it was more crowded than I'd imagined it would be. Maybe it would be less busy when the keikis go back to school.

Amazing trip!

Captain Bob's sandbar adventure
Reviewed by: Mega, 2018/05/12The tour was better than we had anticipated. We went with a 20 month old toddler, sea was calm.
The bus that picked us from the hotel was clean and the bus ride was relaxing.
The atmosphere was friendly, tour guides were fun and professional. Food was excellent, they catered for my spouse who has special dietary needs.
Overall the experience was amazing and will definitely go back to Sandbar with Captain Bob's sandbar adventure

Fantastic and family friendly!

They were also so attentive to making the trip enjoyable for everyone - offering to take pictures, offering fish food, offering drinks, supporting those who didn’t want to snorkel or who were anxious without being pushy. I loved it!

Best day we had the week we were there!

No scary wave or under tow to worry about. The crew were efficient alerts for topknot.i would recommend this to everyone I wish I had brought my 7 year old grandson. The cute old guy playing the guitar set the mood and all was well with the world we were in Hawaii We got to see lots sea turtles!! If you swim this will exceed your expectations if was fun watching the kids snorkel and we could tell them from the boat where the turtles were! I was setting next to Japanese prince or something because when I tried to talk to him he ignored me so I told the crew that spoke Japanese to tell him it’s was fun visiting with him he laughed and nodded at me

Bay Cruise

Highly recommend
Reviewed by: Jasmine , 2017/11/11I highly recommend everyone to do this excursion! This was probably the highlight of my whole trip to O’ahu during 10/19-10/25. From the hospitality of the staff to the excursion activities itself, I would want to do this every time I come back!
I also met a gentleman (the one that provides entertainment during lunch) and he was making handmade bracelets with palm leaves. If any of the staff can help me out in getting in contact with him - because I recently lost my anklet he made when I came back to the mainland, that would be great!
Other than that, literally best time of my life!!

Mom and daughter travel

Wedding activities

Captain bob snorkel

And this time we have a group of 11 people going and everyone has a good time even though the sandbar water level is a little bit high but the whole crew working on the boat are so sincere which makes a big difference on the atmosphere of the activity. Excellent

A must do!!
Reviewed by: jingjing, 2017/02/25I highly recommend the sandbar adventure if you're in Oahu. We were picked up close to our hotel. The bus trip was very comfortable and the tour guide was informative and entertaining. The sandbar was amazing! We were able to walk around and they also set up a net for those who are interested in playing volleyball. We had hamburgers for lunch with chips and bbq beans. The snorkeling was also enjoyable. We were able to see and swim with the sea turtles and tropical fish along the protected coral reef. The staff was so laid back and organized. I highly suggest bringing swim shoes, towel and extra change of clothing. There is a bathroom in the pier. We love it so much we are planning to do it again.

The most friendly snorkel adventure
Reviewed by: fcevallos, 2016/12/24My wife and I went to this adventure hoping to have a great time and see some fish here and there while snorkeling but these guys got us a great tour and we saw a ton of fish near the coral reef where they took us. The staff is super friendly and fun plus. The food was right on point and we loved they even gave us some hot chocolate after the swim to warm us up a bit.
Jenner and the captain are super friendly, I would love to go back and see them again when I go back to Hawaii.

Everyone on the boat ⛵️ from captain Ashley to everyone in her boat was awesome and super nice and accomandating. Would recommend anyone for this tour got to snorkel see and the sandbar. Food was pretty good to.

The turtles were amazing to see so many! The snorkelling was amazing and so much fun! Loved the whole day! Movie facts near the end Gillian's island etc was awesome ! What an awesome trip!
Reviewed by: Steve F, 2016/07/09My wife and I went on a Thursday and had a wonderful time. There were two boats, one for English speaking people and one for Japanese speaking. When we got to the sandbar they tied the boats together and we explored the sandbar. My wife and I practiced or snorkeling skills and checked out our equipment, walked around the sandbar, and then played water volleyball. To my surprise, not many people wanted to play so my wife and I joined in. Our team consisted of us and 3 from the Japanese boat while the other team was 2 of the guides and 3 Japanese people. We may not have spoken the same language but it did remind me that laughter is a language we all share and speak. When we got back on the boat, we enjoyed a cheeseburger in paradise and were serenaded by one of the guides. We then went looking for turtles on the way to reef (we saw 3). The reef was amazing and we saw a turtle and tons of fish. After snorkeling for about 30 minutes, it was time to head back. Our final treat was seeing the original Gilligan's Island on the way back to port. We have lasting memories and it was a great time.
