We pre-purchased tickets for up to 45 people from our wedding party to join us on an afternoon booze cruise. From the views, the staff, the good vibes, this experience was so well worth it. This cruise included 3 beers, mai tais or waters as desired, which was more than enough. The DJ played great hits and gave us chances to play our own music too. Given how large our party size was, I really appreciated the attention the staff gave to everyone. They often checked in on folks, making sure they had drinks (if they wanted them), and that folks felt comfortable. We went on a windy day so we hit a couple of bumps on our way back. I appreciated how the staff gave special attention to anyone who may not have been feeling well as a result, ensuring they had water and a comfortable seat. My party had a really great time with the crew and it was a memorable wedding weekend event that none of us will forget! Thank you to the crew for the wonderful group experience you provided for us all!

Catamaran drink cruise

Drinks were good, ice cold Coronas too! We got to go way out to see Diamond Head and then leisurely back in and watched the sun set! I highly recommend and I’ll do it again next time in Honolulu!

A wonderful experience!
Reviewed by: Vivian, 2022/07/02Getting to see the scenery of Oahu from a boat was very beautiful, especially the sunset! I would definitely recommend this for those who just want to have a bit of fun, while enjoying the scenery. Ideally, it’s best if everyone was 21+ since you get free drinks from the moment you get on the boat. Something that I would like to advise is that it is quite windy once the boat departs from the shore so hold onto your hats or anything that may fly! Another thing is to get on/off the boat, you will have to step in the water momentarily so be prepared to take off your shoes and wear shoes that you’re okay getting a bit wet. Other than that, the staff who ran the whole thing was very awesome and nice!

It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. That sunset was truly stunning! The crew was extremely friendly and ensured we never had an empty beer or mai tai in our hands! One thing to keep in mind is that if waves are a bit rough it will not depart from Waikiki beach. Instead, they can change the departure to the pier, which is about a 15+ min drive from Waikiki with limited parking. To be honest I was definitely a bit disappointed about that but I forgot all about once I stepped on that catamaran and was given a Mai tai! Go ahead and book this, it's totally worth it!

Perfect evening on the island!

The crew was friendly, high-energy, played great music to dance to, and they kept the drinks going the whole cruise. Also, met a lot of cool people that were also visiting. PROTIP: BOOK THE LAST CRUISE OF THE DAY TO CATCH THE SUNSET! (Make sure it's clear or partly cloudy skies though) Can't recommend this cruise enough!

The crew is fun, make sure to bring cash to tip them, if you’re nice they’ll bring you drinks while you enjoy the sunset cruise. They play music too, some song were a bit old but overall the highlight of my hawaii vacation!!

Best money spent in HI!!!

I got really sea sick about halfway through and the crew was so kind and helpful when I felt ill. They had a towel and bucket ready and made sure I had plenty of water. 5 star service and fun crowd! Would go again (with Dramamine next time)

Party time

This cruise is a party!
Reviewed by: MackE, 2022/01/28I’ve been visiting Hawaii every year for the past 10 years and finally got around to checking out a sunset sail. Manu Kai exceeded all my expectations. The staff was great and the boat itself was spacious and comfortable. Check-in had some hiccups but they were still able to start the cruise as scheduled.
The cruise included 3 drinks(Mai tai and it was tasty!) and played great music. We got lucky and had a boat with a younger crowd so it was a party the whole time! If you’re looking for an activity during your stay, I highly recommend this place.

Such fun, tropical breeze, water splashing, tasty maitai’s, pleasant crew, trendy music and spectacular view!

The only slight initial upset was we were standing in the wrong line and by the time we knew the right boat was fully occupied leaving us with no seats. Most of the group were from a wedding party and much younger able to get in seating areas, we had to sit on bow which worried me but ended up being just fine. I just wish the boat hadn’t been quite so crowded. Some people our age may have been annoyed at the loud atmosphere ( people and music) but we found it exciting. It had been nearly 20 yrs. since we did this kind of activity and so glad we did. FYI-we are 56&60 yrs. young.
