Q. Are greetings recommended for those with allergies or sensitivity to fragrances?
A. For those with allergies and sensitivity to fragrances, we recommend booking the Kukui nut, Shell, Ti Leaf, Cigar or Purple Orchid leis. Leis made of Tuberose have a very rich and concentrated fragrance.
Q. How long will my lei last?
A. Leis made of purple orchid flowers will generally last a day and maybe even longer if well cared for. Spray your lei with water or cover with damp paper towels and store it in the fridge for later use. Ti leaf leis are considered good luck and can last much longer. With proper care, Kukui nut leis and shell leis can last forever.
Q. How will I recognize my greeter?
A. Your greeter wears a purple aloha shirt and meets you outside of your flight's gate with your name on a sign.
Q. What if my flight is delayed?
A. Your greeter will know your exact arrival time based on flight number and airline. While greeters will generally be able to wait for delayed flights, in instances with excessive delays into after hours greeters will try to deliver the lei to your hotel or arrange a departure greeting instead. Otherwise, a refund is available. Please contact VELTRA right away if there are any changes to flight numbers.
