Never believe we could do it!
Reviewed by: Jenny, 2016/06/06This is our first time snorkelling so it helps to have personal guides to be with us. We get to have one on one personal attention. The guides held our hands most of the time and we get to see a lot of fishes and corals. It is unbelievable and we can't believe we can do it. It is one item crossed out from our bucket list.

Pretty good

I liked how the guides were taking pictures for their Facebook page and said we could download the images of ourselves for our records. My only complaint was that the water was not super clear, but other than that, it was worth it.

My Only Criticism
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2012/08/07My only criticism is that the time spent snorkeling in the water was somewhat limited in comparison with the total time scheduled for the tour. While our instructor/guide was very good, he moved us through the two areas snorkeled in the bay very quickly. I wanted to take some pictures, but found the time to do so was very limited as the group had to move through each area at a pace that limited the time for individual viewing of fish and coral. As a result, I was only able to get very few pictures, and, to have time to enjoy a direct view of the fish without looking through the camera screen!
More time in the water and a slower pace would be desirable.

Very knowledgeable guide

An excellent morning snorkel

My husband had never been snorkelling before and isn't particularly confident in the ocean, but Alan was brilliant, staying with him all the time, making sure he got the hang of everything. He pointed out the fish etc and knew exactly where the best spots were to make the most of the time we had at Hanauma Bay. I would definately recommend this tour to others.

Kiko (sp) was great with her bubbly personality and her delivery of sea creatures to the girls. The sea life was incredible and the girls had a grat time. We all commented on the quality of equipment as well which was top notch. Go, try them out. I would recomment it.

Hanauma Bay
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2008/04/09Having a guide was really nice since this was my first time ever snorkeling. Alan taught us the basics and provided us with equipment needed. It was great seeing all the colorful fish. One downfall (which wasn't anyone's fault) was that the water was really rough the day we went, so the experience was cut short since we couldn't go out as far as planned.
Would recommend to first-time snorkelers!

Nice Getaway

Aloha. Thanks for the review. Some days Hanauma Bay is super clear and other days not so good. It depends on the tide and wave conditions. Usually low tide and winter months have the best visibility. We hope you can join us another time when the ocean is clearer.
