A Royal Time

Reviewed by: Ambre, 2007/11/22

The Royal Dolphin swim was amazing. It is a little pricey, but definitely worth it. The memories will last a lifetime. There was a dorsal fin pull with two dolphins, but the best part was the foot push: laying in the water, two dolphins push their noses on your feet and make you ski across the water. It was so much fun, I had to get the video to document our time spent! The water is a little cold, but the adrenaline from being so close to the dolphins will warm you up! My 9-year old enjoyed this, perhaps even more than myself! I only wish it lasted longer!

Royal Dolphin swim/Ray encounter

Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2007/09/27

The Royal Dolphin swim was excellent! The staff truly loved their job and the dolphins. We learned about the dolphins while in the water swimming around with them. Then everyone got to experience two rides, one of the rides was holding onto two dolphins fins as they pulled you around the pool and other WOW...was the same two dolphins coming up behind you and pushing on your feet while you fly in the air like superman. As far as the Ray encounter..I wouldn't do in again. The Ray's stayed in a shallow area while we stood out in the deep part of the pool. They gave us snorkel geer to look at the fish, but you can only do that for so long. As we walk back out we got to touch the Ray's before getting out of the water. The trainer that was with us just didn't seemed to like her job as much as the other trainers we encountered while at the park. I would do the enounter that you wear the head geer (for air) they seemed to get to touch Rays, turtles and see all the fish.

There was four of us in the group, two couples and we had a great time. You really get to interact with the Dolphins and feel their power. The trainers are great and very informative. Both the foot push and the dorsal fin ride are amazing and great fun!!!

Dolphins!!!

Reviewed by: Caroline Jacobson, 2007/08/28

Hello everybody! My family and myself will always have the best memories with our experience with the most beautiful animal existing : The dolphin.
My only comment not too positive will be for the welcome we have received by the staff there. Very cold, arrogant except for only ONE trainer: Jennifer! thanks Jen for your kindness on my son's birthday! otherwise the rest of the staff NEEDS really to be improved...thank God that the experience makes it bearable.
We will come back because what is the most important??? The dolphins!....and believe me...their attitude was much more pleasant and kind and sweet than the humans there ;-))
I recommend to all the experience - this will stay for all my family the greatest memories in Hawaii.
Aloha!!

Dolphins

I had a great time swimming and playing with the dolphins. I not only swam/played with them I got to kiss/hug and pet them. The dorsal tow was superb and the foot push fun. They video tape and take pictures of the interactions with the dolphins. The video is about 10minutes long and you can choose what pictures you want, there are four to choose from.

very cool experience!

Reviewed by: mrrockydog, 2007/08/15

I have done two dolphin swims (both in Cancun, Mexico) but not a sea lion swim. Although the dolphin swim to me was more exciting, the sea lion swim was still great! They also offer dolphin swims but I chose the sea lion swim this time and I was not disappointed. One good thing about it is that there were only three other people besides me and my son so we got to learn a lot more and spend a lot more time. The dolphin swims always included a dozen or more people, but I'm sure that at Sea Life Park this wouldn't be a problem because Sea Life Park is smaller than the other places that offer this type of thing. And that it better for us!

Sea Life Park was great!

Reviewed by: mrrockydog, 2007/08/14

I kept reading reviews - some good, some bad - the bad ones kept saying how Sea Life Park is so small that you can see it in 20 minutes, et al. BUT that is what we liked about it! We didn't miss anything. We saw the dolphin show, which was very good, we swam with the sea lions, which was very cool, got something to eat, etc. By the time you do everything and not have to rush doing it, it was exactly what we were looking for!

Wow - we had a fantastic time! This one of a kind encounter was the highlight of our vacation and something I know my daughter and I will never forget. She couldn't stop smiling the entire day and cannot wait to show her friends and family the pictures and DVD! I highly recommend this experience to anyone considering a dolphin experience. The trainers and atmosphere were terrific and everyone involved was very professional and friendly. We would do this again!

Excellent time we had, Even me as an observer. I think the only change I could recommend to Sea Life Park is to be more organized about who gets their turn for all the listed things. My daughter almost missed one of hers.

Dolphin Royal Swim

Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2007/07/05

The dolphin royal swim was excellent! I had an amazing time! It was worth every penny!

However, I did not appreciate the fact that my voucher stated the wrong pick-up time. As a result, I did not make it to the pick-up and ended up having to do the later session, which caused me to miss other plans I had for the day. In addition, I had to take a cab to and from Sea Life Park, as no shuttle transportation was available anymore.

Off the Chart Awesome Dolphin Event

I've always loved dolphins and now EVEN more. You have to try the ROYAL SWIM WITH THE DOLPHINS!!! By far, my favorite Hawaiian Acitity dot com activity of the trip!!! I'm not a good swimmer (can dog paddle) and wasn't sure about being in an 18-ft tank (1 M gallons of water with 3 dolphins). I had a life vest on. Awesome, awesome, awesome experience!! I touched, kissed, and posed with the dolphins. Other places in the world do that. But here you can lay on your belly, two dolphins swim up behind you and push your feet; it's like waterskiing by dolphins. I LOVED it!!!!!! Also, you float vertical in the water with your hands to your side and two dolphin swim to each side of you, sliding their fins into your hands and take you for a ride. Awesome experience, unique to Sea Life Park in Hawaii! I'd do it again in a heartbeat!!!! Try it! You'll love it!! Dolphins are fabulous creatures! And we bought a DVD of our experience so we can take it home and relive it again.

We also did the Sea T

Kaleo and I had a great date the other day. He's such an astounding athlete, really energetic, a great swimmer, an amazing dancer, and just loves to give kisses! Granted his breath is rather fishy, his skin is quite rubbery, and his home is rather damp, but his million-dollar-smile completely won me over. What a treat it was since he is one of the best looking dolphins at Oahu's Sea Life Park!

Yup, I got to have a day of fun-in-the-sun with Sea Life Park's Dolphin Adventure and it was truly a wonderful experience. Not only did I get to see all of the marvelous marine creatures throughout the park, but I did one of the most in-depth interactive dolphin programs available in Hawaii.

After a short briefing, a small group of us were led to Dolphin Cove by a fabulous trainer. She immediately put us at ease as we made our way into the water and after telling us a couple of dos and don'ts, it was time to introduce ourselves to Kaleo. He is such a sweetheart and I had oodles of fun wit
