Fabulous!!

There are no words to describe this experience! It wasn't just the most amazing interactions with the animals, but you took great care in planning the whole day. By timing the events with being able to walk around the park in between is brilliant. All your employees ooze empathy for their nature family. It was a very spiritual day thanks to each and every one of you!!!

First Timers - Experience of a LIFETIME!

Reviewed by: NoName, 2015/11/03

Let me start off by saying I NEVER post reviews...which I need to work on because I am always checking them out before I do/buy things. So, this is my way of giving back. This was my boyfriend & I first trip to Hawaii so we were very excited! The #1 thing I wanted to do was swim with the dolphins. My boyfriend was not interested & scared to do it, but in end he was so glad he did!! It was an awesome experience!! We were the only 2 that signed up for that session, which worked out great because it gave us more one on one time with the dolphin not having to split the time with other people :-) The trainer was so cool & you could tell her & the dolphin had a connection. She's been around her for 11 years. The dolphin was soooo cute & sweet! It loved attention!

We started off with the fin drag & then did the foot lift out of the water. For those the wolphin (only whale & dolphin mix in the world) & dolphin was there. After that, we did other tricks with the dolphin & fed it. The activity was supposed to be 40 min, but it felt more like 20. It went by so fast!! Especially the fin drag & foot lift!! I wish we could have did those again to fully take in the experience because it literally lasted a second. Which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

We chose the 1:45 pm session. They picked us up from our hotel at 11:45 am. We got there about 12:15 pm, so we walked around the park to check out the other animals. i love animals so I really enjoyed it. The bus took us back at 5:00 pm.

Overall, I would totally do this again!! It is a little pricey, but I'm so glad I did it! It is definitely an experience of a lifetime! I loved it :-) Btw, my boyrfriend & I aren't the best swimmers lol, but we did just fine because you are required to wear a life vest. They record you during the activity so we did end up buying the pics & dvd at the end. What a great memory to have! We did other activities while in Hawaii but this was my favorite! :-)

Our trainer was a cute little blond, a fireball, she had her nails done and was glamorous, yet she still was the best trainer there. I would do this again, just to meet her, spend as much time as you can with the trainers, they are just as amazing as the animals. Either way you will love it!!! Pay for the best package you can!!!

We could not be happier with the experience we had at Sea Life Park during our Dolphin Encounter. The park itself is amazing....and then you have super friendly staff and trainers that give you the ultimate dolphin experience. We had our two daughters with us that are 5 and 2, and they had the time of their lives!! From the minute we stepped into the pool with these amazing creatures, it was a dream come true:) I would absolutely go back and do it again!!!!

Decent outing..

Reviewed by: Sankalpa, 2015/06/13

Swam with the dolphins, watched the dolphin show (the best part of the day), saw turtles, rays and the lot. But coming to the review, the park is decent. not very big. The swimming with the dolphins is daylight robbery at 200 odd dollars. It's a few feet holding their fin..it's over even before you realize. Wouldn't advice spending so much for it. The ride to the park however, was gorgeous and informative. The driver of the pick up vehicle (prompt..reached 10 mins early actually) was very nice, a great guide. Worth a visit but just spending on the shows at the park may be worth it.

All good, make sure your on time

Reviewed by: DavisGAL2011, 2015/02/03

I met the Sea life park organizer at the flag pole in front of the Iikai hotel on Ala Moana blvd and this waiting spot is easy to find. All is good with the ride, the sealife park coordinator was funny, and event just fine. There is no bathroom on the bus so please use the restroom before you get on the bus. The only suggestion I have is for the employee checking off partcipants names is to yell out the name of the organization or our names so that we do not miss our bus ride to this event which is 1 hour drive from Waikiki. It was also chaotic at the wait site because there were 3 buses from different companies picking up people at the same time. I was happy to ask the 3 bus drivers if they were going to sealife park and that was how I found out I am to ask an employee handing out blue envelopes with waivers and wristbands for instructions on what to do. Bus leaves on time to and from sealife park as well as pick up sites so make sure you are where you supposed to be. Mahalo, my boy had a great time.

We love Dolphins!

Reviewed by: The Lazo's, 2014/10/14

We are residents in Hawaii, actually we moved here from California about 5 years ago and while kids are off school on their fall break, I decided to take them out. I didn't realize there's actually a lot to do and see here, thanks to my cousin, Emily, who works for VELTRA that recommended me to do these things.

We visited Sea Life Park and as my cousin recommended, we went there at 10:00am and I'm glad we did! We saw the Dolphin Cove Show and it was in fact the highlight of our day! It was a great show, very entertaining especially for the young audiences. I also really liked the Sea Lion Show! It's amazing that these animals can actually be trained to do tricks! Pretty fun! They gave us a brochure and schedule for the different shows throughout the day which is good, we didn't miss any of them!

An amazing day!!!

Reviewed by: Erin , 2014/09/17

We undertook all the activities that the park has to offer; dolphin adventure, shark trek, Hawaiian Ray encounter and the Sea Lion experience. I would highly recommended them all. The number of people on each activity is limited (4 for all but the dolphins) which was good. The staff were very informative and helpful. Everything was well run which made it a very relaxed, enjoyable day. The only tip is that the activities started 10-15 mins late which is no problems if you are planning in spending the whole day at the park however can cause issues if you are planning on catching the earlier bus.

Royal Package - Great Day!

Reviewed by: Kristen, 2014/09/08

We had a great time at Sea Life Park. We did the Royal Package and all were amazing, except the sting ray swim/interactive program.

We did the sea lions first, and it was awesome! We have done other dolphin and ray swims in the past, but never were able to find something for sea lions, and this was very cool and fun. We were the only two in the group, so we had a ton of one-on-one time, and got to do lots of fun training techniques and commands. Also got to swim with the sea lion...really fun, and very worth it.

Next, were the rays. This was really boring and not well done, except the fact that they gave us lettuce and let us feed the fish in the pool. The rays were not interested in interacting with us or the trainers, and all you got to do was touch their bellies. We have had MUCH better ray encounters and swims before...with pictures. Not worth it (even with only two of us in the group again).

Third, we did the shark trek. Again, just the two of us. You put on dive helmets and go down in the shark pool. This was really cool. Just the experience of going down, with the helmets, and being with the fish was awesome. They have a HUGE ray in the tank as well as several sharks and lots of fish. We again got to feed the fish, and saw them feed the huge ray. It was very cool, and we got some good pictures courtesy of Sea Life Park (for a price of course). Also, they are very informative.

Last, was dolphins. AWESOME dolphin swim. The foot push and fin swim were great. It was very interactive, and they keep the groups very small. One of the best dolphins swims I have ever done.

NEGATIVES: they were 20-25 minutes late getting us for each activity-very aggravating. They want you on time, but keep you waiting a LONG time. The cost for pictures is outrageous-more than any other swim or excursion I have ever done (we got them anyways...how could you not?). Food at the park is terrible.

Had a fun day at this little sea park. Nice people, the grands liked the shark dive, a little tame for these 20-somethings, but fun never-the-less. No one was too keen on going out in the open ocean, so this worked out perfectly. Loved that the gift shop actually had things produced in Hawaii!
