Good fun for families
Reviewed by: Kelly, 2023/05/27We enjoyed our half-day experience. As tourists, the Secret Island experience was nice because it satisfied my desire to do kayaking and paddle boarding. The beach was nice for young kids because they had supplies to build sand-castles, however that is the most of what my young children really enjoyed. In retrospect, most of the activities there would be best for older children and teenagers to really enjoy. For families with younger children, it may be best to buy some sand toys and head to a local beach.

Full day with food
Reviewed by: TK , 2022/08/01The staff was outstanding and fun. The 10-minute boat ride was informative and not bad at all for those afraid of seasickness.
The pesto chicken wrap that came with the full day package was dry, it needed extra dressing. The included activities (kayak, paddle board, etc..) were good. Beach volleyball nets and balls were ok (bring your own ball if you have it), the sand had a lot of hard marble-sized cones from the surrounding trees, tough on the feet - good shade though.

Secret Island Beach Kualoa Ranch
Reviewed by: Letty Torres, 2017/11/11Beach was beautiful, but it felt that the time was too short. Would've liked it longer. Catamaran cruise is included with this. Same trip if you purchase the Catamaran cruise by itself. You get two in one but it shortens your time at the beach. And sadly we were not told this, so we did 2 Catamaran trips which were exactly the same. No difference. Secret beach itself was beautiful with hammocks, kayaks, etc available.

Fun times
Reviewed by: Lynn, 2016/05/07Great day on the secret beach. Although there are only a few kayaks & SUP's, the 8 of us had plenty of time on them. Beach chairs provided and we took picnic. The area to use equipment is blocked off and is a tad smaller than we would have liked. Also the area is over a reef so if you fall in the water be careful. Enjoy

Kualua Secret Beach

There needs to be some kind of system to check out the kayaks and the boards.
Three local girls were on the paddle boards for 2.5 hrs and didn't let anyone else use them.

Reviewed by: Sylvia Tanguma , 2015/08/05Enjoyed it, it was nice. It's worth the money for the SUP and the kayaking. However, not the snorkeling.
Water is too murky for it.
I think it would be good to allow the swimmers to sign a release to not have to wear a life jacket. The area they give you to paddle and kayak on is limited and very close to the shore area.

This is really not expensive for all that.
