Q. What if I don't eat meat or seafood?
A. Not to worry! The Star of Honolulu is more than happy to help accommodate meals for each guest. Vegetarian, vegan, chicken and gluten-free options are all available with at least 24-hours advanced notice prior to your dinner cruise.
Q. Is there a dress code? What should I wear to this activity?
A. Five Star guests are required to wear formal attire. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear slacks and a jacket.

Other dinner cruise guests are not required to adhere to a dress code, but casual resort or aloha attire is recommended.

If you are prone to getting cold, please dress warmly. The cabin is air conditioned.
Q. What if I am prone to seasickness?
A. Consider taking an over the counter motion sickness preventative before your cruise if you are worried about sea sickness. All-natural ginger tablets are available on board.
Q. How far in advance should I book this activity?
A. We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance. If you have very specific schedule requirements and are not flexible, please book sooner. Last-minute bookings are often possible, but availability is limited.
Q. What is the beverage menu?
A. Drinks: Mai Tai, Blue Hawaii, Chichi, Lava Flow, Other tropical drinks, Beer, Wine, Scotch, Bourbon, Vodka, Rum, Brandy, Juice, etc.
*Please note that the 3-Star package includes 2 Super Premium and the 5- Star includes 3 Super Premium beverages of your choice. The Pacific Star and 1-Star packages include a Star Signature Mai Tai only. Any drinks ordered will be paid after the beverage allotment has been used.
Q. Can add-ons be personalized for our special occasion?
A. No, add-ons cannot be personalized. Star of Honolulu cannot provide any additional services such as singing "Happy Birthday" that are not on the add-on menu. All cakes say "Congratulations" on top and aren't able to have a custom message.
Q. Is parking validation available? How much does parking cost?
A. Parking validation is available.

The first hour is free and up to five additional hours can be validated at a rate of $2 per hour.
Every additional hour after the fifth is billed at the posted rate of $3 per hour.

Pleas Note: Parking facilities are not owned and operated by Star of Honolulu and subject to change without notice.
Q. Can I book multiple dinner packages for different people?
A. If you are attending as a group, it is recommended to book the same package for all members, as different dinners take place on separate tables on the different decks of the vessel.
Q. Can I bring kids?
A. Kids are welcome to join on Three Star, One Star and Pacific Star packages, but the Five Star package is reserved for guests ages 12 and up.
Q. What time do we have to check in? When does the cruise depart?
A. The Star of Honolulu departs at 17:30, but please check in by 16:45 at Aloha Tower Marketplace, Pier 8.
