Get swept away to Halawa on this amazing Valley Falls hike to experience the natural beauty of the area! Halawa has survived and thrived during quite a few devastations, including two tsunamis in 1946 and 1957, but now the valley is rich, verdant, and ready to be explored! The two-tiered Moaula Falls drops 250 feet into a delightful pool. Learn all about the custom of dropping a leaf into the water. If it floats, it is safe to swim. If it sinks, the legendary mo'o lizard is angry and will not welcome you! The rich history and thriving natural beauty of Halawa Valley awaits you!
