Solo snorkel in Maui
Reviewed by: Bebe, 2024/04/09I was nervous about taking this tour since I’ve never snorkeled before and can barely swim. But I figured if nothing else, I could just enjoy the boat ride. Well, not only did I enjoy the boat ride, which was lovely, but ALSO. One of the crew members talked me into putting on a snorkeling mask and “just looking” into the water...OMG! I’m so glad I did. There were so many sea turtles and fish...it was amazing, truly life-changing. I can’t wait to go snorkeling again!! Oh, and also, the food was fantastic. Go on this tour!!

Maui Ocean Center General Admission Ticket - Visit The Best Aquarium in Hawaii
Fun and Informative experience

Nicely positioned in the Maalaea Harbor which includes shopping and dining experiences and is the departure point of many of Maui's tours.

Wow!

The ocean was a little bit rough at first, but they distracted us with these AMAZING cinnamon rolls (please give me the recipe!!) for breakfast. The crew were SOOO nice. When we got to Olowalu, they gave us all snorkeling equipment and showed us how to use them. It was weird at first, but so worth it! There were so many tropical fish it was like a postcard! We saw a bunch of sea turtles and even a manta ray! Nature is so beautiful, and I’m so glad I got to see it on this tour.

Weekend fun in the sun~
Reviewed by: Lily B., 2024/03/25Loved this trip. A bit on the expensive side but worth every penny. Food was delicious, especially breakfast. Water was clear and warm. We saw an “underwater cleaning station” where turtles go to get “cleaned” by other fish. The crew was attentive, encouraging and helpful. I have snorkeled before, but some of the other passengers had not, so they got lots of help. Definitely recommend this tour.

Sunset Whale Watch Tour & Thrilling Ocean Raft Adventure - Koa Kai [Dec - Apr]
Incredible experience!
Reviewed by: Jana, 2024/03/23We had an amazing experience on the sunset raft whale watching excursion. Our guides, Luke and Nick, were superb and told us so many facts about the whales. They were attentive to both my teenagers and my 9 year old, providing them with snacks and drinks and making sure that they had a great experience. We saw whales breaching and babies swimming close to the raft. It was the highlight of our trip.

Small-Group & Private Maui Whale Watching Tour - Amore Boat Charter [Dec-Mar]
Expensive; I’ve had better whale watching tours elsewhere

I’ve done a lot of whale watching tours on Maui. I only chose this one because the company we typically use cannot run tours on weekends/holidays anymore (change to use abilities at the Mala boat ramp). This was the only other small group tour I could find.
Pros:
- Small group so you aren’t fighting for space/visibility
- Able to use a GoPro in the water off the side of the boat
- $10 credit per person at the General Store (which wasn’t advertised in activity description)
Cons:
- Whale watching is better from Lahaina and not as good from Ma’alaea
- Boat doesn’t go very fast so you don’t get the opportunity to get as much action
- Staff were less experienced and didn’t have a lot of knowledge about the whales/whale behavior
- Much more expensive than other tours

The best whale watching ever!!

Captain Paul, piloted us towards multiple whale pods, he and Micah pointed out the whales, showing us the females, calves, and escort male whales. We were given great information regarding their travels, rituals, and behaviors. It was truly an awesome experience!l We can’t wait to do it again!
They treated us with so much aloha spirit that they are the only ones we would want to go out with again!!

Deluxe Molokini Snorkel Cruise with Breakfast & BBQ Lunch - Four Winds Maui
Snorkeling trip
Reviewed by: Doug Gruber, 2023/12/30The snorkeling was very crowded. Can’t count the number of times I got hit in the head with one of their little glass bottom floating devises. Had to quit early because the waves were getting to big. Not their fault I know. The food wasn’t good and some of my family members had moldy buns. Did get to see some whales and turtles.

I'm sorry you felt the snorkeling location was crowded; Christmas time is the busiest time of the year on Maui, as I'm sure you could tell by the plane ride over.

モロキニ島シュノーケリングクルーズ ＜朝・昼食付／現地集合＞
ウミガメ&イルカ！

日本人スタッフのカナさんが、とてもきめ細やかに声をかけてくれて終始安心してツアーに参加できました。
風が強くてモロキニ島ではシュノーケル１時間の予定だったそうですが、３０分程度で切り上げて次のコーラルガーデンのポイントへ移動。
モロキニ島周辺でイルカの群れに遭遇して感動(^_^)
コーラルガーデンは想像以上に珊瑚やお魚が多くて、ウミガメにも逢えました。
朝食サービス、昼食のランチ（ハンバーガー）も美味しかったです。

Nice but do not sit in the back!!!
Reviewed by: Carla D., 2023/10/18My party of four cruised on 10/13/23. The captain, crew and food were amazing and we were first on board and directed to our table in the back. The view was facing into the galley/bathrooms/dingy and not the beautiful ocean and sunset like the rest of the tables. Quickly realizing that our view was not what we paid for, we were blocked by the other guests boarding so we couldn’t pick a better table with an actual view. Unable to eat and watch the sunset so we got to watch the crew plating the food. The captain did say we didn’t have to stay in our seats and could walk around but when we did, we were standing in front of other guests’ tables and their view. Awkward and not the experience we had expected and paid for.

You will not regret it.

モロキニ島シュノーケリング＆セーリングツアー グラスボトム完備で海中も楽しめる＜午前／朝食付き／英語ガイド＞
良いけど、最高って訳でもない

ハワイ島のケアウホウ湾の縮小版って感じた。
グラスボトムは、結構傷があって写真ほど、綺麗には見えない。
食事やクルーの感じは、悪くはない。楽しめるよう気を使ってくれる。
駐車場は有料。料金はSECURITY という支払い場所でカード等で支払うか、ツアー受付にQRコードがあるので、それを使って支払う。
QRコードを使ったのだが、支払いがGoogle pay しかなく（見逃したかも）、たまたま残金があったからすぐに支払えた。
ただ、５から６時間（早く行くと１２時まで６時間必要になる）を設定するのに手間取った。その他を選んで１２時までの範囲を選択するだけだが、動きが悪く、苦労した。
で、最もダメだったのが、車のナンバーを入力しようとした際、全角文字入力になったが支払いできてしまったこと。下船したらレッカー移動されていた。
クルーに聞いても、SECURITY に連絡するように言われるだけ。SECURITY に連絡してもお昼過ぎじゃないと留守電になる。車はキヘイの廃車置き場に移動されるので、道のり8. 6mileもある。
なので、レッカー車が来たときに必死に頼み込んで、つれていってもらった。
半角文字での入力。とても大事。

Maalaea Harbor parking is run by a company called Secure Parking Hawaii. I am very sorry to hear they towed your vehicle. We unfortunately have zero connection with their services... this is why our crew was unable to assist. The parking company also have a pay station at the harbor if you are unable to pay with your personal device. I wish there was a way we were able to assist guests with this, but it completely out of our control.

Deluxe Molokini Snorkel Cruise with Breakfast & BBQ Lunch - Four Winds Maui
Beautiful setting, but the boat ride and crew left something to be desired.
Reviewed by: Anonymous, 2023/08/19Loved Molokini, but the boat experience was just okay. The crew seemed short/curt and not very welcoming. There was one crew member that was absolutely wonderful, friendly, and inviting. It also felt like a heavy sales pitch once you boarded. Everything, from additional gear (wet suit), scuba, photos, all costs extra and it's not cheap. Food was just okay. Also, know that when you snorkel, they limit you to how far from the boat you can go. All that said, the water and natural beauty was incredible. I recommend it for that reason alone.
Thank you for choosing the Four Winds. Safety is always our top priority, so we do let our guests know what the safe parameters are, as far as the distance you can swim away from the boat. This is only to protect our guests and to make sure everyone is safe.

Amazing views, fun crew and great drinks!

The food was good, a plate of appetizers was served to each guest, so not a choice if there was something you didn't care for or wanted more of. The sunset was spectacular! マウイ シュノーケル体験
Reviewed by: ユカ♡, 2023/08/09シュノーケル自体は魚が数種類で、こんなものかなという感じでしたが、ボートの上のサービス（朝ごはん ランチ スタッフの応対など）はとてもよかったです。
シュノーケル後に寄港する際、アルコールもたくさん種類があってバカンス気分を味わえました。
ボートからの滑り台、大人もまじってはしゃげました！
日本人スタッフの方、細かな配慮に安心して参加できましたし、何より海外でがんばってらっしゃる日本人に、帰国後もがんばろうと思えました。
パブリックパーキングのシステムがよく分からず、６$を２回払ったのかな？その辺の説明がもっとわかるとよかったですが、自分の英語力のなさが原因ですね。
トータルで満足できたツアーでした。
