Waimea Canyon

My husband, Eric, and I were excited to ride in a helicotper ride while on our honeymoon. It was a first time adventure for either of us as we had never 1) been to Hawaii before and 2) ridden a helicopter before. The adv... moreenture happened early in the day, and we enjoyed some beautiful sites. I particularly enjoyed seeing the beautiful clear water of the ocean and the rust colored Waimea Canyon.

The tour was a great way to see the southern part of the island and learn a lot of history about the island. Our guide, Rosario, was great. He was knowledgeable, friendly and answered all our questions. I would definitel... morey recommend this tour.

Kauai from above is so green, lush, and gorgeous views of plenty of waterfalls!

Would do this again in a heartbeat! The views were like nothing I’ve ever seen before!
We took our family of 5 (we have 3 boys) my 8 and almost 4 year old loved it but my 2.5 yr old had a hard time. And I couldn’t figu... morere out what was wrong. I’m thinking ears not adjusting to the height or maybe even motion sickness. But he did not do good. He’s usually a very very easy going toddler. So keep that in mind if you have young children. I would love to do it again without my kids so I could enjoy the breathtaking views without stress

The tour to the Fern Grotto was great. Really enjoyed the Kauai Coffee Plantation. First time there. Good coffee. Rest of the tour was awesome. Our tour guide was also fantastic. She gave us a lot of great information an... mored history. Definitely a memorable trip.
