Stroll around the luau grounds and take a look at the various Hawaiian and Polynesian crafts featuring local artisans, and depending on the artists, they may even have unique items to purchase. There are also various Hawaiian games that you can play and are taught by local island practitioners.
Ancient Hawaiians perfected the art of the underground oven, and would roast boar and pigs using heated lava rocks and ti leaves. You can now see how this cooking method is still used to this day by digging a pit and lining it with scalding rocks, and watch as the pig is unearthed in this ceremony.
