Great crew, awesome horses and amazing setting

You can't go wrong here. Start with a beautiful ranch with mountain vistas and lush meadows and forests, add a very knowledgeable and fun guide, stir in great horses that behave but have spunk, sprinkle a little hike through the forest and top with a swim in a beautiful waterfall pool. A great way to spend a few hours on Kauai!

  • The view from the ranch stables.

  • The upper part of the falls you will ride and hike to.

AMAZING Private Waterfall Horseback Ride

Reviewed by: Alyssa & Bryan Davis, 2014/06/26

My new husband and I did this on our honeymoon and we had so fun! Our guide, Annalee, was a great guide and person. She was constantly gauging how we were doing and adjusting our ride accordingly. For example, she realized we liked getting information about the surrounding area so she would point out things, but when we got to the waterfall she gave us privacy and took lots of pictures of us having fun. This was so much fun and I would highly recommend this to anyone!

Kauai Horseback - Princeville Ranch

Reviewed by: J. Kehler, 2013/03/08

This was the highlight of the trip, horseback is the only way to see some of Hawaii's beauty. The waterfall picnic lunch which involved horseback riding, hiking and swimming under the waterfall...excellent. Thank you Will

Kauai Princeville Horseback adv.

We ride alot on vacations so it takes a lot of us to be overly impressed.

Well, this one is a good one to go on for sure.

Planning for this trip - you will want, SWIMSUIT under your clothes, blue jeans ( I would advise stretch or baggy for comfort), tennis shoes work best as you will be hiking (don't do this in boots seriously!) maybe a hat, sun glasses, towel and a camera!!! And it may rain on you but, hey its Kauai and you will dry off fast. Plus they have rain gear for you. So where do you put all this? Guides have saddle bags for that. They will feed you so no food is needed. They have water too.

First nice staff, their instructions on how to get to the ranch could be a wee bit better. HINT bascially if you driving north to the check in point, you will drive back the way to came a mile or so and it will on your right (driving south). Its not just across the road like they told us :)

Now, to the ride! They matched each person up with the horse that would be b
