"Manu" was the name of a legendary boy who was famous for his mastery of the "Papa Holua," a type of Hawaiian downhill sled.
This line will expose you to the mountain valleys and greenery that led to Kauai being dubbed "The Garden Isle."

"Nohili" was the name of a legendary Hawaiian man who lived with his nine dogs on the west side of Kauai.
Lush Hawaiian Uluhe ferns spill into the valley below this line.

"Alekoko" is a reference to the Menehune Fishpond—a place said to have been built by the Menehune, a mythic race of dwarves.
Watch for clusters of Kukui, Hawaii's state tree, along this line.

"Alae" is the name of a species of bird native to the island that is said to have taught the secret of fire to the god Maui.
This line takes you past the convergence of two valleys and offers excellent views of the Pacific.

"Kiki A Ola" is a reference to High Chief Ola, who ordered the construction of the iconic Menehune Ditch.
Line 5 is the gateway from one valley into another, creating a flowing mesh of green below.

"Nounou" is the name of a mountain said to have been formed by the figure of a sleeping giant.
An expansive sense of freedom and open air are the defining characteristics of this line.

"Kaikapu" is the name given to a giant serpent in Hawaiian mythology.
This line will allow you to swoop low over the valley floor and experience the scenery rushing around you on both sides.

"Wainiha" is the name of a valley on the North Shore of Kauai that became the backdrop of many legends.
Line 8, the most exciting line in the course, features a sudden drop to get your heart pounding.

- Guests who are pregnant are not permitted to participate in this activity.
- Guests with neck, back or joint problems are not permitted to participate in this activity.
- This activity is not wheelchair accessible.
- If less than 2 participants are booked, the activity may not operate.
- Guests should not have serious fear of heights (acrophobia).
- Guests MUST be physically able to hike 1 mile over uneven terrain in hot conditions.
- Children 10 years old and above can participate in this activity.
- Each participant MUST weigh between 80 lbs (36 kg) and 260 lbs (118 kg). Please provide accurate body weights during booking as you will be weighed at check-in. Misrepresentation of body weight will result in denial of service without a refund.

You will ride Line 3 again as part of your return to the entrance of the course. On your second time around, you can enjoy different elements of the scenery with the same sense of excitement.
