First, we took a tour to explore Diamond Head and the Haleiwa area!

While our exploration of Haleiwa was on our own, the Diamond Head tour was shared with other foreign guests (two groups). Therefore, after hiking at Diamond Head, we returned to Waikiki to drop off the participants who were only joining for Diamond Head. This made us feel like we took quite a detour since we were planning to head to Haleiwa afterward.

However, we were satisfied because we were taken to the places we wanted to visit.

If there are places you want to stop by or visit along the way, I think you can let the guide know, and they will take you there. Conversely, if you don’t communicate the places you want to stop at in advance, there’s a high possibility they might skip them, so it’s best to keep that in mind.

Overall, I was satisfied with the tour because they listened to our various requests, and the guide's hospitality was great!

まず、自分たちはダイヤモンドヘッド及びハレイワ方面への散策のツアーを行いました！

ハレイワ方面への散策については自分たちのみでありましたが、ダイヤモンドヘッドのツアーは他の外国人の方(２組)と同じでした。その為、ダイヤモンドヘッドでのハイキング後、ダイヤモンドヘッドのみの参加者を送り届ける為に一度ワイキキに戻って参りました。
その為、ダイヤモンドヘッド後にハレイワ方面に向かう予定であった我々からするとかなり遠回りをされたという感じでありました。

しかしながら、希望をした場所にはきちんと連れていっていただいたので、満足できました。

もし途中で寄りたいと考えている場所や行きたい場所がある場合、ガイドの方にお伝えすれば連れて行っていただけるかなと思います。
逆に言うと、予め寄ってほしい場所等をお伝えしておかなければスルーされる可能性が高いため、その点は注意しておいた方がいいかと思われます。



ツアー全体の感想としては、色々と希望を聞いていただいたり、ガイドさんのホスピタリティも良かった為、満足しております！

When I was wondering where to go on my first trip to Hawaii, I thought, "I want to see the sunrise at Diamond Head!" and found this great optional tour.

It turned out to be a fantastic choice!!!

They took care of all the reservations for Diamond Head, so there was absolutely no hassle.

It was super early in the morning, but we were able to see the sunrise and get some good exercise right from the start of the day.

Since it was a small group tour, there was only one other group besides us.

Our guide, Jonah, was incredibly helpful, and he took photos of us at various spots, allowing us to capture many wonderful memories.

Personally, I found the experience of cracking open macadamia nuts with a stone to be really interesting (Jonah taught us how to do it).

We were able to accomplish a lot with this optional tour, especially since it would have been difficult to get around efficiently without a rental car. It was so much fun!!!

初めてのハワイで、どこに行こうかな？と思った時に、ダイヤモンドヘッドで日の出見たいー！となって、いいオプショナルツアーないかな？と思った時にこちらを見つけました。

結果大正解でした！！！

ダイヤモンドヘッドの予約なども全部していただけるので、煩わしいことは一切ありませんでした。

朝めっちゃ早いですが、日の出もちゃんと見れて朝からいい運動でした。

少人数制のツアーということで、私たちの他にもう1組だけという感じでした。

ガイドのジョナさんには大変お世話になり、途中色々なスポットで写真を撮っていただき、沢山の思い出を写真におさめることが出来ました。

個人的にはマカダミアナッツを石で割って取り出す体験が面白かったです(ガイドのジョナさんに教えていただきました)

レンタカーがないと効率的に回れないところをこちらのオプショナルツアーで沢山叶えていただきました。楽しかったですー！！！

We had a large group, and this was easiest way for us to not have to figure out reservation. Just perfect time for hiking as well!

The shuttle service had foreign staff, and everyone else on board besides us was also foreign. Therefore, the guide spoke entirely in English, and we were just along for the ride. Water is provided both on the way there and back. Since it was hot, light clothing seemed appropriate... but it depends on the weather.

送迎の方が外国の方で同乗された方はわたしたち以外は全て外国の方でした。
なのでガイドも全て英語でわたしたちはただ乗ってるだけでした。
お水は行きと帰りにもらえます。
暑かったので軽装で良いかと…
天候にもよりますが…

I participated with my mother, and it was so much fun.

Our tour guide, Jonah, was very kind, funny, and helpful. During the drive, he shared a lot of local stories and recommended some great restaurants.

The Diamond Head hike was more physically demanding than I imagined, so it's better to wear workout clothes (I wanted to dress up for all the photo spots afterward, but it was definitely the right choice to go in something comfortable for exercising).

The weather was great on the day we participated, and since we were the only ones booked, the guide took a lot of photos for us. At Sunset Beach, I was really happy to see a sea turtle.

It was a tour that my mother was very satisfied with. I definitely want to recommend it to my friends.

母と２名で参加したのですが、とにかく楽しかったです。

ツアーガイドのジョナさんがとても優しくて面白くて親切でした。
車で移動する途中にたくさんローカルな話をしてくださったり、おすすめのご飯屋さんや人気なご飯屋さんを教えてくださりました。

ダイヤモンドヘッドハイキングは想像より体力を消耗するので、運動着で行ったほうがいいです(その後いろいろな映えスポットで写真を撮るのでおしゃれしたい気持ちもありましたが、運動できる格好で行って正解でした)

参加した日は天気が良く、たまたま私たちしか予約がなかったため、ガイドさんがたくさん写真を撮ってくださいました。
サンセットビーチでは、ウミガメを見ることができてとても嬉しかったです。

母も大満足のツアーでした。周りの友人にも是非お勧めしたいと思います。

Our driver was wonderful and funny. I appreciate that he called us to tell us he had arrived at the pick-up spot. We didn’t see the van pull up and he was parked behind us. The hike is demanding especially in the rain. It was quite slippery on the way down. We had already purchased ponchos, but our driver had some for sale. We were able to complete the hike easily within the timeframe, and had time to stop in the gift shop. Just be aware of the weather and plan accordingly. Good shoes are a must!

I found this tour while looking for a morning tour of Diamond Head. It was great that we could visit various places not only in the morning but also further east and north.

Accessing Diamond Head early in the morning is difficult for individuals, so the transportation service was very helpful. They also provided handheld lights, which made the climb much more reassuring. I was deeply moved to see the sunrise.

During the trip, we stopped at various dining spots, and I was able to discover many delicious places that would have been hard to find on my own.

I was very satisfied to see various beaches and coastlines. I was also thrilled to unexpectedly see a sea turtle.

In addition to nature, we had a reasonable amount of free time for shopping, which I enjoyed.

Along the way, we received interesting information about the scenery from the car windows, making the sightseeing experience much more enjoyable than if we had explored on our own.

朝のダイヤモンドヘッドのツアーを探していたところこのツアーを見つけました。
朝だけでなくそのまま東や北の方まで色々な場所を回れてとても良かったです。

ダイヤモンドヘッドは朝早くからアクセスするのが個人では難しかったので、送迎もあって助かりました。手持ちライトの貸し出しもしてくださり安心して登頂できました。
日の出が見られてとても感動しました。

移動途中にも色々なご飯スポットに立ち寄ってくださり、個人ではたどり着くのが難しい美味しいお店にもたくさん巡り会えました。

またさまざまなビーチや海岸線を見ることができて大満足です。
たまたまウミガメも見ることができて嬉しかったです。

自然だけでなく、ショッピングの自由時間も程よく取ってくださり買い物も楽しめました。

道中も車窓からの景色の豆知識も教えてもらえるので、自分たちだけで観光するよりも楽しく観光することができました。

You can't start your trip to Hawaii without this trolley! It's a must-have since you can enjoy the nice Hawaiian breeze while shopping and visiting tourist spots.

Early wake up call but it is so worth it as the early morning views from the top of the hike felt warm and cozy.

Whoever added the Leonards stop- genius! Perfect day of activity + indulging.

They do not guide you up to hike, but it was pretty self explanatory!

On the day of arrival, I exchanged my ticket for a four-day pass. I was able to ride the trolley and sightsee until the hotel check-in time, which was a meaningful experience. It was easy and convenient to board just by showing the ticket. The drivers were friendly, and I had a great time.

到着日に４日間チケットに交換しました。ホテルのチェックイン時間までトロリーに乗って観光でき、有意義な時間を過ごせました。見せるだけで乗車でき、簡単で便利です。ドライバーの皆さん、親しみがあり楽しく過ごせました。

We ride along the seaside park on a Segway, feeling the refreshing breeze. The guide explains various things about Waikiki along the way, so we never get bored. They also take plenty of photos for us. At one point, my daughter had a little trouble with her Segway and fell, but they handled it well.

海沿いの公園を気持ちのいい風を感じながらセグウェイで進みます。ガイドさんが道中色々とワイキキ事情を説明してくれるので飽きません。写真もたくさん撮ってくれます。途中娘がセグウェイのトラブルで転けましたが、しっかり対応してくれました。

It seems that my child really wanted to do this in Hawaii, so our whole family participated! I usually don't exercise and don't ride bikes, so I was quite nervous, but the staff member was kind and taught me patiently, and I was able to ride in just five minutes! The Hawaiian breeze felt amazing, and we talked about how we should have chosen a longer course on our way back! My child loves art, so it seemed to be the most fun for them. We definitely want to do this again next time. Thank you very much! The driver who picked us up was also a lovely lady! Thank you!

Its just shuttle service to Diamond head
Its a stone throw away from honolulu waikiki, and you coukd have just walk there.
Nothing more of a ferry services.

It had been about 10 years since my last visit to Hawaii, and once again, I relied on the trolley! It feels like there are a few fewer routes compared to before, but I thought it was essential to have access to various places. The starting point was also conveniently close to my hotel. I would like to use it again.

今回もトロリーにはお世話になりました！
以前に比べて少し本数が減った気もしますが、いろんなところに行けるのでないと困るなと思いました！始発場所もホテルから近くて便利でした。
また利用したいと思います。

From the pick-up at the hotel to practicing on the Segway, and the beautiful views along the actual course, I had a wonderful experience that can only be had in Hawaii, thanks to our perfect guide. When I come back to Hawaii next time, I want to try a different course. Above all, the exhilaration of cruising on the Segway was the best! I was completely satisfied with the stunning views of Hawaii!

ホテルへのお迎えからセグウェイの練習、実際のコースで見える景色、何よりパーフェクトならガイドによりHawaiiでしか出来ない素敵な体験が出来ました。
次回Hawaiiに来た際には、また別のコースを体験したいと思います。

I had been to see the wall art before, but this time I joined a Segway tour because I was tired from walking. At first, I was worried about whether I could ride it properly, but even someone as uncoordinated as I am was able to master it without any issues after about 40 minutes of practice. Although the area has become much safer, it's reassuring to have a guide in the warehouse district. There were artworks that I wouldn't have found on foot, and I was able to take photos, making it a very memorable experience.

ウォールアートは見に行ったことあったけど、歩き疲れたので今回、セグウェイで廻れるツアーに参加しました。
最初、ちゃんと乗れるか心配でしたが、超運動音痴の私でも40分くらいの練習で問題なく乗りこなすことができました。
ずいぶん治安が良くなったとはいえ倉庫街ですので案内してもらえるのが安心です。
歩きでは見つけられなかったアートも案内されて写真も撮ってもらえるのでとても思い出になりました。

There are many elderly tourists. Perhaps because the prices are high, it seems that younger people tend to use rental bicycles more. It might be better if the prices were a bit lower.

お年寄り観光客が多い。
値段が高いからか、若い人は、レンタサイクルが多い印象。
もう少し安いといいかも。

It had been a while since my last Segway tour, and I was worried about whether I could remember how to ride it from five years ago. The tour lasted for an hour. I quickly got the hang of it, but one hour just wasn't enough. There were also limitations on the places we could see, and I didn't get to enjoy the scenery as much as I would have liked.

久しぶりのセグウェイツアーで、5年前のセグウェイを思い出せるか不安だったの、1時間のツアーでした。直ぐに操れるようになってたけど、1時間では物足らないです。また見れる所も限界があり、十分景色なども見られませんでした。

It was great! Pick up and drop off near hotel area, perfect. Sunrise hike to Diamond Head is a great way to start the day. You can go at your own pace. Views of sunrise and surrounding areas were beautiful! After the hike, driver dropped us off to Eggs N Things. Delicious!! After breakfast, driver picked us up and dropped us off near hotel.

I enjoyed a bus trip of about three hours, starting from the Royal Hawaiian Center at 9:30 AM on the East Oahu Scenic Line, which operates twice a day. There were stops of about 15 minutes at tourist spots like Hanauma Bay and Halona Blowhole, giving us plenty of time for photos and restroom breaks. The bus also stops at Kahala Mall, so you can shop before transferring to the Kahala Line for your return trip. Meals are not included, but it was an affordable half-day tour.

1日2回運行の東オアフ絶景･ラインに9時30分始発のロイヤル･ハワイアン･センターから乗車して、約3時間のバス旅を楽しみました。ハナウマ湾やハロナ潮吹き岩などの観光地では15分程度の停車時間があり記念写真やトイレ休憩にも充分時間があります。カハラモールに停車しますから、買い物をしてから、カハラ･ラインに乗り換えて帰ることも出来ます。食事は付いていませんが、お安く半日観光ができました。

As a couple in our 60s, we had concerns about our physical ability and skills, but we were given careful instruction. It felt amazing to travel a long distance while feeling the wind, which would have been difficult on foot. The explanations were detailed, and we were surprised. Thank you for the enjoyable time.

I was wondering if there would be some variation in the arrival time, but it arrived quite on time! The trolley driver was also accustomed to Japanese people and answered my questions about the destination in a friendly manner. The course that goes around to catch the sunset took us to Ala Moana Park at just the right time, and we were able to see a beautiful sunset. I started using it from the day I arrived in Hawaii, but I couldn't use it due to jet lag, so I recommend carefully considering the start date before using it.

到着予定時間にバラツキがあるのかなと思ってましたが結構ピッタリな時間に到着でした！
トロリーの運転手さんも日本人に慣れてて行き先聞いたら気さくに答えてくれます。
サンセットにあわせて巡るコースは丁度良い時間にアラモアナパークに行けて綺麗なサンセットをみることができました。
ハワイに到着した日から使用開始にしたのですが時差ボケで利用できなかったので使用開始日をよく検討してから使用開始することをオススメします。

A sunrise hike up diamond head is a must do. The Acai bowl at Bogarts was a perfect refresher after the hike. I would do this again

It's recommended as a kind of activity since you can enjoy sightseeing while feeling the wind. If you only consider transportation, the bus is cheaper, has more routes, and longer operating hours.

My son and I had just a few days, and wanted to see as much as we could without wearing ourselves out. An early morning hike up Diamond Head, and a subsequent tour of the island seemed like a good option, and it was great! We had enough time to climb and enjoy the view from the top, and then the van ride was wonderful. We both felt like it was the perfect balance of riding time and stops around the island at well-chosen locations. We never felt rushed, and never got bored. Our guide, Stephanie, was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great day! BTW, the hike is not an easy stroll, but neither is it too strenuous. I'm 68, and didn't have a problem. If you're not in great shape, take the easier trail, and not the demanding stairs when you get to that point. But take the hike. It's worth it!

I used a one-day pass and took two lines. I was worried, but I was able to enjoy sightseeing without any issues. I'm glad I could go to the places I wanted to visit. I would like to use it again.

心配だったが無事観光でき堪能してしました。
行きたい所へ行けて良かったです。
また利用したい。

I was thinking of participating in the Sunset Drive on September 30, but the departure time was already past sunset... After receiving an explanation, I decided not to participate and quickly headed to Waikiki Beach, where I was just in time to see the moment of sunset.

The roads were under construction, so it probably would have taken a while, and it was the right decision to cancel my participation.

Since the departure time is determined by HIS, there's nothing that can be done, but I wish they would consider this a bit more.

9月30日の参加でサンセットドライブに参加しようと思いましたが、
出発時間が既にサンセットを過ぎていて…
説明を受けて参加を取りやめ、
急遽ワイキキビーチに向かい、ギリギリセーフで
サンセットの瞬間を見ることができました。

道路も工事中できっと時間もかかっただろうし、
参加をやめたのは正解でした。

出発時間を決めるのはHISなので
仕方ないですが、ちょっと考えて欲しいですね。
