Unfortunately, the weather on the day was not great, and we couldn't do the planned flight over the volcano, which was disappointing. However, the alternative suggested was a landing plan at the waterfall. When I signed up, I thought it was a bit pricey, so I didn't include the waterfall landing, but adding that option turned out to be a great decision!
The view of the waterfall from above and the experience of landing right next to it are completely different in terms of impact. Walking through the tropical rainforest after descending was refreshing, and it was fascinating to see various fruits along the way. Since we could land in places that only a helicopter can reach, I highly recommend the waterfall landing!
We had the helicopter to ourselves as there were five of us in the family. The seating arrangement is determined by weight, so those who got to sit in the front row or on the ends were lucky.

もう感動の絶景の嵐でした。揺れるかなと心配でしたが、普通の飛行機に乗ってるようなレベルでまったく怖くなかったです。（パイロットの運転がうまかった）

カメラ以外の荷物は車に置いてね、ということで荷物は車に置いてカメラなど持って行くものを持った状態で体重測定。私の時は全部で５人。私達以外の3人はみんな大きい人で70～100kgぐらいありそうでしたが、体重が重い人ほど前の席という感じでした…１人席が３列あって後ろの席が2席繋がってる感じで私たちはそこでした。
でも結果的に窓の大きさと見える範囲の広さ、翼や車輪から離れているので撮れる画角は一番良かったのではないかと思います。
ナパリ―コーストは太陽が昇っている午後の方が山々の筋が綺麗に見れると聞いて14:00のフライトを予約しました。ワイメア側は少し曇っていたけれどとにかく絶景でした！数日前に歩いたカララウトレイルの場所やキラウエア灯台など、先に行った場所をもう一度上空から見れたのでよかった。旅行後半に行くのをおすすめします。
カウアイ島には6日間滞在しましたが、このアクティビティの思い出の印象が最も強く、本当にやってよかったです。なんならこれさえ押さえれば他いかなくてもいいぐらい満足できます。本当に最高でした！超おすすめします！

Due to weather conditions, we had to re-schedule 3 times, but we were so glad we finally got to go up. Marcus was our pilot and he was fabulous. He was very friendly and so informative on our flight. We ended up going on our last day in Kauai, but it was the best ending ever. I highly recommend Wings over Kauai….it allowed us a chance to see parts of the island (oh so many waterfalls and rocky cliffs) that you can’t see from the ground.
